To start off, do not see the pediatrician Doctor Gupta. She is awful and I will explain why…read more I have been going to Premiere Medical for quite a few years now. The experience has always been okay. They did what I needed done, the doctors were friendly, and they had a bowl of free lollipops on the way out. HOWEVER. Premiere Medical split their offices so while their pediatrics are in the same building, quite literally the front desks are across from each other, they are run by different people and appointments have to be made by department. When I called to make an appointment, they gave me the number of their pediatrics unit. Upon arrival of my 12:00 appointment, I knew I wouldn't be seen as soon as I arrived because that's never how the doctor office works. I got taken to a check up room around 12:10 and sat around for a very long time before Dr. Gupta saw me because when she took over the pediatrics, they lost all my records and I was not in their system. Luckily, they still had my vaccination records which is why I visited their office. I had been told by Dr. Gupta's front desk that they could email me a PDF of my records and they wrote down my email address (this will be important later). Dr. Gupta finally showed up to my waiting room and told me they could not find my records. We went through the check up and she asked if I have any recent health problems. I told her what's been going on and she didn't even look or ask further questions, I felt like she was just trying to get me out of the office. The worst part is she noticed I was missing a shot on my record. I explained I got the shot last year at another doctors office and that's why it is not on my record. She said "No you didn't" I kept saying I did and did not want to get this shot another time and she said I needed it. I gave in even though I knew I had received the final dose of that shot a year ago. She came into the room with the needle and didn't even warn me or let me know she was about to give it to me and injected me. I said "I'm kinda afraid of needles." She said, "Yeah I could tell when you tried to get out of the shot but saying you received it already." I have now received the meningitis shot 5 times because of this doctor who insinuated I was lying. When I was done with my appointment, I went to the front desk again to fill out paperwork to have put on file and Dr. Gupta handed me a couple of pages and told me to sign. I was confused and asked where. She rolled her eyes and muttered "Oh my god, its so easy." And pointed to where I was supposed to sign. Then the front desk person scanned my insurance and gave me the copy instead of my card by accident, so he returned it to me. Dr. Gupta asked where the copy was and I gave it to her. In a very rude tone, she said "Oh you took it." It was handed to me, I did not reach over the desk. Lastly, I still have not received my PDF of my immunization records nor do I think I ever will. I noticed they weren't emailed to me and called Dr. Gupta. She explained my charts were lost and she couldn't email them. I asked how could that be true if she had given me a paper copy already? She them made up the excuse that she wasn't in the office and that's why she couldn't email them to me. I waited till the next day and called again. I asked for my PDF and she raised her voice at me and said in a rude tone that she could not do that and the paper copy was enough. I would have been fine with the paper copy, but when I first asked, they took down my email and said yes. To be yelled at and treated the way I was when they said they would do it is just awful. Please if you care about yourself and your children, do not see Dr.Gupta.

I did not encounter a single worker that did not treat me kindly and efficiently. Dr. Jason Rogart performed my minimally invasive procedure. He did a fantastic Job. I had a minimum discomfort for one day. Having had over 6 surgeries in my life, it was truly remarkable. Bravo to all of you! Most Sincerely, Adele C. Lee

Capital Health Medical Center is one of those places no one ever hopes to review. A hospital visit…read moreis never on anyone's list of pleasant experiences, and an emergency room visit even less so. The very act of being there means something has gone wrong. Still, when my wife experienced a medical event serious enough to require admittance, I found myself deeply grateful for the people working behind those walls. From the moment she arrived, her symptoms were taken seriously. She was pulled into triage almost immediately, and within minutes, she was in an emergency room bed with a team already in motion. The attending physician was remarkable, the kind of person who makes you believe that medicine is still both science and calling. Every nurse, technician, and aide who crossed our path treated her with care and patience, and treated me with empathy that felt entirely genuine. Even beyond the clinical side of things, there was an atmosphere of kindness. The security guards greeted people with a calm professionalism that felt reassuring rather than imposing. The men and women working in the cafeteria were unfailingly warm, small moments of humanity in the middle of long hours of worry. When my wife was moved to a room in the IU, it was clear that the amenities were not the hospital's strong suit. It was clean, functional, but bare. No television, no real distractions, just the steady hum of machines and the odd rhythm of hospital life. Still, when you are dealing with matters of health and survival, the absence of cable television does not feel like much of a tragedy. I have read the low ratings, and I understand where they might come from, but our experience was very different. Four stars for a hospital that seems to have its priorities in order, staffed by people who still remember that patients are human beings first and foremost.

When my primary care physician of 15 years announced his retirement at the end of 2019, and…read morenotified his patients to find a new doctor in the next 60 days, I was concerned that it would be difficult to connect with a different doctor as well as I did with him. Change like this is seldom easy. But, I was lucky. PennMed had opened a family medicine facility in nearby Lower Makefield and had brought in several younger staff physicians who were establishing new practices and looking for patients. Already familiar with their excellent work in Philadelphia from personal experience, I contacted the local office via their My PennMed website and got an appointment for the following week. I met Dr. Li and was immediately won over my his direct, yet good natured approach. He asked plenty of questions and listened to my answers. He obtained my records from my former provider and quickly understood my medical history and unusual aspects of my health. He simplified my prescriptions, updated them, and asked me to return in 3 months with new lab work to be sure we were on the right track. Dr. Li gained my confidence almost immediately. Turned out that this operation included inhouse lab work in the first floor, so I no longer had to make visits to Quest Diagnostics to give blood and urine samples. The data was provided directly to me and the doctor through their website within 48 hours, and he was contacting me by phone to schedule an appointment to review the findings. Quick and easy. A little more fine tuning on meds and preventive health, and we were set for the rest of the year. Have to say that while I was comfortable with my now retired doctor, that I really didn't know what I was missing by not being part of a state of the art medical practice. My former family doctor was very good. Dr. Li and PennMed are even better.
