This is a great place to get in shape, and Master Trowbridge is a phenomenal instructor. He's patient, knowledgeable and has a way of pointing out something to improve without making you feel stupid about it. I lost a lot of weight getting started here and I've gained balance, confidence and energy I never knew I could have. After a few weeks it wasn't difficult to convince myself to sign up for 4 nights a week of the Tang Soo Do classes. I highly recommend these classes to all of my friends. My wife and kids take classes (there are separate classes for kids) and love it. Anyone who comes in reluctant comes away ready to come back for more the next day. In addition to the physical benefits of the class, Master Trowbridge is a trained in many forms of martial arts and a capable physical trainer as well. Instead, we found a place close to home and the difference is night and day. ATA focuses on character development, real skills, encouraging kids and preventing bullying. The other place focused on money. If you have any doubts, please just try ATA West. We actually got started here through a Groupon, and I am so glad we did. My 7 year old came home tonight asking me what he could do to learn more about self-discipline. He has committed to caring for our dog and running nightly clean-ups-encouraging the whole family to do this.
