This is the most horrible place to take your child to.My 6 year old daughter had swollen lymph…read morenodes in her neck. I took her back a few days later after she did not get out of bed for a week and she was not eating. They told me that they tested her for mono, I had no reason not to believe them. The next day I weighed my daughter she had went from 101 pounds to 96.6 pounds in a matter of days. I called the next day crying my eyes out and asked them why they did not weigh her and why is she getting worse and please help her. Instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with her they told me I could not bring her back. I called them two or three times crying and begging them not to kick her out. The last thing she needed was to go to a doctor who knew nothing about what was going on with her. Well after five doctors and a week later I found out she had mono. Kids Kare in Cookeville did not even test her for mono. I know because I looked at Labcorp Patient Portal. Then it all made sense. They kicked my six year old daughter out when she was very sick because they made a mistake and did not want to own up to it.They did not test her for mono and tried to manipulate me into thinking I did something wrong when I called them crying my eyes out asking them why they did not weigh her and why isshe not getting better. They could have just admitted they made a mistake and tried to help her but no they blame me for calling up there crying scared to death about my kid. This is the sorriest doctor office I have ever been to in my life. Dont waste your time taking your child there because if they make a mistake they will try to manipulate you into thinking you did something wrong. Horrible people very unethical. They had the nerve to tell me that kicking her out was best for her because they did not want to admit they made a mistake. I ended up having to take her to five different places and my daughter is so traumatized from this experience that she can not even function at school. Her teacher said she is so worried about her health that all she does is cry and she is suffering from severe anxiety, something she has not had any trouble with until kids kare decided to ruin herlife and traumatize her till she can not even function. I am suing them for medical malpractice and my attorney is pretty confident we will win because I don't have to pay him till its settled in court!

This is the last time I am taking my child here. The first time he was taken, they forgot to give…read morehim all of his vaccinations, then they said we had to bring my son back in. When we brought him back in they said that it had not been long enough and he would have to comeback. Yet they still billed our insurance. The second visit, the three nurse practitioner's diagnosed our son with laryngitis, which turned out he had RSV. At that point the office tells us, "Sorry, he more than likely got it from our office, we have had a lot of kids with RSV here." The doctor then disagreed with the diagnoses and my child was put on a third round of antibiotics. This very last visit, I needed them to fill out a form for our son's dentist. They told my wife they did not need an appointment to bring the paperwork in and they would sign in. My wife gets there and my son stays with me. They tell my wife that my son has to come in for the forms to be signed. Their incompetence may seriously harm a child. I do not recommend them at all.

This place is a joke. At this point, I'm just laughing. I took my kids there for their wellness…read moreexam and thought it was a good place because of all the good reviews, but I was sadly mistaken. This doctor took what was supposed to just be a wellness exam and made it into an office visit. We were asked to come back in so they could get more blood and urine, and we were waiting for the nurse to come back in and let us know we were good to leave. Not only did the nurse come into the room, but so did the doctor. He started trying to convince us that my kid, who had just gotten done crying, had allergies because she was sniffling. Then goes and writes us a prescription for these said allergies for both kids. Now is charging me for an office visit plus all the bloodwork and urine test that was done also. I can see if I mentioned it to the nurse that I wanted the doctor to come in and talk to us about allergies and get them on something, but I was only there for the follow-up for their wellness exam. I DID NOT want to be talked to about allergies when my child had just gotten done crying and all you overheard was the child sniffling. That's not allergies!! I called their billing department about this, and she told me she'd have to talk to the doctor and that maybe the most they could do was take off the part that was supposed to be for the wellness exam, but I'd still have to pay for the office visit. She was to call me back and let me know. Unfortunately got no call back as to what was going on with the bills. I gave them a good couple of weeks to figure it out, and nothing. Now I have bills that were sent to me stating they are past due. I called them again yesterday, and once again, she's stating she has to talk to the doctor, who conveniently is "out for the month." I'm sure the bill will then be sent to collections, and then "it's out of our hands" by that point. This is very unprofessional. You do not do your clients like this! I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here. They will scam you in a heartbeat!

My daughter was having trouble breathing. I took her to Dr Koucheki 4 times in a two week period…read moreand all he did was say her lungs are clear. I changed her primary care Dr on a Friday at the end of the two week period and she was immediately diagnosed with bronchitis and an ear infection. Dr. Koucheki called DCS and told them that I had munchhousors. That's some screwed up disease where people make shit up and take their kids to the Dr for attention or some sick shit. DCS closed my case in one week but still I was traumatized severely and I am still very much traumatized. My daughter got a lot better after taking the antibiotics her new Dr prescribed her but she still said she was having trouble breathing when she laid down. After 3 weeks of being scared to death to take my daughter to the Dr I finally broke down and took her to the emergency room where they did an x ray of her throat and found out she had epiglottitis. She also had an infected lymph node and a urinary tract infection. She was put on cephalexin since she was able to swallow they didn't feel that she needed IV antibiotics. She took the cephalexin her UTI went away, her lymph node that was sticking out of her neck so much that it looked bruised shrunk back down to where you can't see it. She still says she has trouble breathing when she lays down and that is one symptom of epiglottitis. Since DCS got involved with her and her medical records no one wants to treat her. For example when I told her new Dr that I think she needs another x ray of her throat to compare with the original one they said that's not necessary it says right here when you took her to the E.R. that her swollen lymph node was causing the x ray to look like epiglottitis. So here I am right back to square one afraid to take her to the Dr afraid to take her to a different doctor. Dr. Koucheki has ruined my life and ruined my daughter's chance of getting over this. Since this happened I have had to get put back on Suboxone after 8 months of being clean. He has destroyed my character and I honestly don't think that he thought I had munchhousors. I think he hates and resents me because my little girl survived cancer and his daughter died from cancer. Why else would someone go to such great lengths to hurt me and my child. Anyone that could even dream up that someone has munchhousors should be evaluated themselves. I googled munchhousors and let me tell you it would take a sick twisted whacked out person to do what people with munchhousors do. I think he needs to quit practicing medicine if his daughters death effected him that much. I am not the only person who has heard people say that when his daughter died from cancer it really screwed with his mind. Anyone going to this clinic take your kids somewhere else. He is either a complete quack or he is messed up in the head from his daughter's death. Either way he took that out on me and I do not want anyone else to have to go through what I am still going through. So people please don't take your children there and get told that nothing is wrong with them when they have something as serious as epiglottitis.

Recently moved back to Crossville. I had contacted Dr. Koucheki's office prior 5 moving to make…read moresure they would take my daughter as a new patient and also take our insurance. Yes to both so we requested our records be sent to his office a month before we moved. Three days after moving back our 3 month old daughter woke up sick. We called the office and they told us to come right in, even though they hadnt even received her records and he had never seen her before. Dr. Koucheki listened to our concerns, assessed our daughter and even performed a chest xray in office. Very grateful for the care we received. We have since been back for 4 month shots and once again had a positive experience. There is plenty of parking. They have "well" and "sick" children separated in the waiting room which seems so smart to reduce the risk of healthy babies getting sick. Dr. Koucheki gives his own injections, which is rare in the health care field. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

And, I've found it quite difficult to find the right fit, to be honest. So, early on, I really struggled to find the right physician and group for my kids. And, the fact is, when you choose your child's doctor, you aren't just making that choice - you are choosing the office staff, the physical office space and location, the hours, the other group physicians, etc. We lived in Franklin years ago, when my kids were little. I have plenty of "horror" stories of the various physicians and groups we tried out then. From 2004-2008 we were in Florida, and it was even more difficult there - I never found a physician I was confident in! When moving back to Tennessee, a lot of prayer (yes! prayer) went into my search for a new pediatrician. Dr. Pinkley was the first we saw, and we've never regretted that decision. Fantastic facility (and I've been in some nasty offices!), pleasant and helpful staff, generous office hours, great nurses, and we've had good experiences with the other doctors, the few times we were unable to see Dr. Pinkley. We've used this group for 7 years now, and never looked back. We love Dr. Pinkley!
