One other piece of advice for all doctor appointments anywhere: Do not allow yourself to be blackmailed by any doctor office that states they will not call in a totally unrelated (non-narcotic) prescription unless you make appointments first, for totally unrelated other areas; such as stating you can't have your life necessary thyroid medication unless you get a pap smear (???!) at their office, you may have a OBGYN you prefer that you go to - so how would this be related? Never got a response and had to self treat. Would I have recovered quicker or not had such a severe reaction with proper meds? Likely. Next, my husband had an appointment today at 0830. At 1000, still not seen. No one said, sorry the Dr is running behind. Nothing. Most nurses were just hanging out, drinking coffee. No apparent concern for what is happening in the waiting room. Absolutely abhorrent patient care. Three separate times I have waited on this facility to send…read moreprescriptions to the pharmacy. Twice sent to a completely wrong pharmacy. Had to wait four hours just to speak to someone to inquire as to whether a RX was even sent. It wasn't. The facility does not write hard copies of prescriptions, so you're literally just waiting on the mood of the staff if you need any type of medications dispensed. Their office manager doesn't work in the office and doesn't take calls.
