I signed up with Apple One a few months ago and it was the best decision of my life! They helped me…read moreget a job so quick, I started this May of 2026. And they are really nice and understanding, Dorian and Dominique were the best people to get service requests and help from. I hope they get to help more people !!

Wish I could give a zero: I decided to reach out to…read more AppleOne as a way to bring in some income, build up additional startup funds, and keep things moving while I grow my business. At the same time, I've been offering free meals to families in my community simply because I LOVE cooking. It brings me so much joy. I reached out them serving the greater Los Angeles/California area. And yes, I had tailored my 20+ year television resume specifically for temp and administrative opportunities. I didn't want to call it a "generic" resume because it definitely wasn't. With a little help from AI, I was able to translate the skills I've developed throughout my entertainment career project management, coordination, logistics, communication, problem-solving, working under pressure, managing teams, meeting deadlines, etc. into skills that can transfer across industries. I was scheduled to interview with the agency, but before the interview even happened, I received a call from someone there. She started off not the nicest but then basically said, "Since you have a career in television, you should apply for entertainment jobs through our LA office." (The apple one I reached out to was in my adjacent town) I explained that I had intentionally tailored my resume because I'm looking to work outside of entertainment. I explained a little about the industry, the fact that it has slowed down significantly, and that I'm also building a business as a professional home cook. She asked, "So are you looking to pivot?" I said, "Yes. That's the entire point." Her response? "WE DON'T DO PIVOTS." And then...thank you...and click. Ummmm...WHAT?! Sorry, AppleOne, but I have to call you out on this one. I understand that staffing agencies have specific clients, job categories and recruiting models. I get it. But isn't helping people connect their existing skills to new opportunities part of the point? Because here's the thing: a pivot doesn't mean I suddenly forgot how to work. I spent more than 20 years producing television. I've managed teams, budgets, schedules, personalities, logistics, crises, deadlines, vendors, clients and projects. Those skills didn't disappear because I decided I wanted to use them somewhere else. And honestly, this experience reminded me of something I already knew: Sometimes the hardest part of a career pivot isn't figuring out what you can do. It's convincing someone else that your skills are transferable. Anyway...back to building my business, cooking my meals, and figuring out what's next. Because apparently, "we don't do pivots" just means I need to find people who do.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you end up using Michelle, it will ruin all other agencies for you…read more I am a professional career nanny. I have over seven years of nannying experience, five years of teaching experience, and more. I have a B/S in childhood development as well as my MAT. When I began my search for a nanny-family in LA, I did my due diligence by shopping around looking at multiple agencies. I found that Michelle had the TOP RATED AGENCY ON MULTIPLE SITES and wanted to take a closer look. I read through every. single. review. I thought to myself, "Really? Every single person had a positive experience with this agency? That's just not statistically possible if she's really working with this many people..." I decided to set up a meeting. I drove to her office where we met to discuss particulars (what I'm looking for, what families are in the market for a nanny right now, what ages/salary/commute/hours I'm looking for) and the moment she opened the door and greeted me with a giant smile and her upbeat, positive attitude, I felt like just working with HER was my perfect placement! Once we started the process, Michelle was completely professional while also refreshingly honest and realistic in her suggestions. She really took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for and she only suggested me to families that she knew had the potential to be a "love match!" After looking at a few potential matches, Michelle called me to tell me that she had "found my family!" She said, "This is the one. Please go for an interview and see for yourself." So I did. This is the part of the review where I'm going to get annoyingly emotional. Not only did the family and I immediately "click," but Michelle had made sure that all of our stats were in alignment. The age range, schedule, amount of hours, commuting time, pay rate, expectations and needs happened to all align with what I was looking for. It was LITERALLY the PERFECT PLACEMENT!!!! Coincidence? I think not. Michelle is highly intelligent, professional, personable, understanding, diligent, experienced, communicative, and pleasantly charismatic and I owe my job satisfaction directly to her. Now that I think about it, maybe I should send over a bottle of wine. Thank you, Michelle, for just being so incredibly good at what you do. As I mentioned earlier, when I started this process, I read through every one of your (5 star) reviews and thought, "There's just no way every single review can be five stars..." and now here I am adding one more.

I met Michelle at a time when I was at a low point in my nanny career and personal life. I had…read morebeen looking for top nanny position and had been on many interviews through other agencies. It seemed like I had landed a few dream jobs only for it to slip away from me. Really trying times. Then I met Michelle! This brings a smile to my face. Meeting with her felt like chatting with a friend. I realized after that this is her skill. She loves people and wants to represent both the families and the nannies. It was a slow period and she didn't have any job opportunities at the time when I signed up with her agency, the perfect placement. After being on the hunt for my top nanny job with a kind family for many months and it wasn't happening I was getting ready to move out of state. I mentioned to Michelle that I'm no longer looking for a position as it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Michelle didn't give up on me. She called me with 2 opportunities. I went on both interviews and was called back to do a trial for the one that I wanted !! Yay !! Then Michelle negotiated some time off that I needed to take care of a health issue. The family was so wonderful they waited for me ! All I can say everything lined up perfectly. Michelle will always return your call in a timely manner and she always checks in to see how you're doing. I thank God I met Michelle !
