After speaking with representatives from a few companies, I stumbled upon Airtight and Jesse just plain made it easy. From the get-go, he was organized, efficient, and incredibly helpful with suggestions; even offered to help us clean up our logo for the project (it's much better, now). He presented us with many options along the way, made sure we had plenty of opportunities to see how things were shaping up as the build progressed, and was always receptive and quick to implement the changes we requested. He made sure we were happy before the page went live, and has since taken the time to check-in, just to make sure we were getting everything out of the site that we wanted... Overall, just a great experience at a very reasonable price... Jesse and Airtight are fantastic, and I recommend them highly!

He took my money and left me with a website that crashed within 2 weeks of getting it going and thereafter could not be fixed. Erik said he would try to fix it, then went dark on me for more than a month with no follow up, explanation for not getting back to me, or update on timing for the repairs. Desperate, I tried to have another web designer get the site up and running, but they said there were too many internal errors to fix the site so I was forced to start from scratch. I tried to get my money refunded. They refused and said it wasn't their fault. Well, Erik was the only one who worked on the site. I will be suing him to get my money back as others have done. Well, fast forward 3 years and countless referrals....They get a large job and Ethan wants to charge me 7 times my normal rate. I objected and asked for my old rates for 2 reasons. 1. It was just plain unfair 2. I couldn't afford to pay the HUGE increase. And then all heck broke loose. He brought down all of my sites because he handled the hosting (with Godaddy but charged 2 times their rate), hid my files inside in sub files (3 programmers couldn't find them) and gave me 3 days to pay him or he would erase my files. Basically holding me hostage. So I had to play by his rules and his rules only, pay him 10 times what anyone else would charge to have my files transferred. When I objected he accused me of threatening him. He really caused my business great harm. A really wacky company in my opinion. Ethan may come off as nice but when you question him, things turn around in a hurry. If you plan to do business with them, make sure you are in possession of YOUR files because as soon as you tell him that you may have to take your business elsewhere, things could get ugly fast.

And that counts when you need a quick update to a site or have a question / issue. Number two reason for the five stars: they design a site for you and teach you how to use it... no monthly subscription service/fee... no hostages here... they hand you the product no strings attached and that is counter to the "residual income" business model that has become the low-standard. AE designed and produced our second-generation website in early 2015 (about a year before this review). It exceeded our expectations but more importantly: - It launched without a single hitch, and just before an important season for our organization. - AE produced the website quickly and did not get bogged-down in the details: movement is just as important as direction. - AE trained us how to use the mechanism behind the site as well as site navigation, allowing us to maintain the site / maximizing the site's potential on our own, in-house, without additional (or ongoing) maintenance expenses.
