Greg has done quite a bit of drywall repair work for us and working with him is always smooth…read moresailing. He's reliable and does great work. While were dealing with our roof leak issue, Greg helped out in many other ways. In addition to recommending a roofing contractor (which we ended up using), he also climbed up onto our roof (two story home), took many pictures, and consulted with a roofing contractor buddy of his, which I really appreciated! Before he could finish the job, we needed to make sure the leak was addressed. With the 10 week+ backlog, this meant doing the demo work and then not being able to complete the job (and be paid) for nearly 10 weeks. I felt terrible and offered to pay him upfront but he refused and said he had no issue waiting. Additionally, once the roof work was completed, he graciously offered to climb back up on the roof to do some water testing so we could be sure the roof repairs addressed the issue prior to rebuilding the bedroom closet that was damaged. Greg's work is great and he's very clean, always laying down paper to protect flooring and installing plastic barriers to prevent splatter from spraying knockdown texture. He also explains what he's going to do and is generally just a cool guy to chat with. Recently, we had some more work done and he responded quickly and did some additional repair/patch work for us. Lastly, he also spent time showing me how to do small patches and texture, even giving me a texture sponge and a sanding sponge. As you can see, Greg goes above and beyond for his clients - it's awesome to know that he'll take care of us if we ever have drywall work that needs to be done in the future.

He is an excellent painter who carefully prepares and organizes his work space, everything is properly planned out, covered with clean tarps, plastic sheets, paper and tape before painting begins. When finished, everything is done to leave our home as clean as before - if not cleaner. While painting our kitchen, Maurice noticed that the water line to our refrigerator wasn't properly connected to the water outlet. He took it upon himself to drive to the nearest Home Depot to purchase a new hose which when installed it became evident that it prevented the refrigerator from properly aligning to the wall. He went back to Home Depot and exchanged it for another line which when installed made everything work perfectly. This dedication is what we refer to as "Going above and beyond the call of duty." We highly recommend Maurice Staub. It was a pleasure to have him in our home.

What I appreciated the most about Jackie, was her professionalism and communication. She was able to quickly lay out our problem, what needed to be done, and what issues may arise during the process. We have two young children and wanted to make sure that they were safe during the remediation process. This was Jackie's priority as well which was clear from the beginning. Another reason why we went with A&J was that they are a one stop shop. Not only did they remediate the water damage but also performed the construction to put the house back together. After the first job, Oscar and his team were so fantastic that I never even bothered getting a quote from any other painter for the second or third job. Each time, the quote was fair, the work was done impeccably, and the crew was always respectful and professional. Oscar and his team have painted interior spaces, cabinets, and even an exterior for me--each job turned out absolutely perfect. Most recently, I had some questions about dry rot repairs that a carpenter had completed during the exterior job. I sent a text to the project manager to ask if we could meet the next day to discuss it. To my surprise, Oscar himself showed up bright and early, ready to talk through my concerns. He was determined to ensure everything was right, even though, not surprisingly, they know more about carpentry than I do, and there was nothing that needed fixing! Oscar still took the time to validate my concerns and walk me through everything--true professionalism at its finest. I've worked with many contractors over the years, but Rojas Painting stands out in every way. If you're looking for quality work and a team you can trust, look no further.
