She had cut her leg at school…read morethe previous day and was complaining of pain then but yesterday she was crying and claimed she could not walk. We saw 7? different people there, with only 1 who was semi-competent. A PA who simply had her do some jumping jacks. This young lady said she was not worried and did not need an x-ray. Some clown claiming he was the "attending physician" (Whatever that is), a guy who didn't even examine her!, who then forced her to get an x-ray that was not needed at all. Essentially she just needed the wound cleaned and dressed. Instead we spent almost 3 hours there and no one cleaned and dressed the wound, a scrape maybe the size of a quarter. Having watched an entire Disney film waiting to get the damn wound cleaned and dressed, I was fed up and went looking for someone to do the job. That place is a maze. I can't even tell where the nurse's station is. After wandering around like an idiot, I finally just decided to leave. At this point my daughter could walk just fine with little to no pain. I don't think she was in much pain to start with. She was crying earlier because she was simply lonely for other kids to play with. So I took her home and treated her myself. I couldn't even find anyone to tell them we were leaving. I am convinced this horrible treatment is a scam you guys use to bill insurance companies outrageous fees. I know through experience we are going to get stuck with at least a $1000 bill for this BULLSHIT. This is RIDICULOUS. You think making us sit there for hours for no point and giving her pointless x-rays is going to make it seem like you provided an actual service? You guys are either completely incompetent or con-artists or both. The design of the hospital as a maze is clearly done to intimidate people. I've been through this game with you guys in the past where you take FOREVER to do the simplest tasks when treating my son. I've had it. I'm not returning unless there is no other choice. How many people does it take to clean and dress a wound? She saw the people at the front door, a CNA, a triage nurse, then another nurse, a PA, then a "doctor", then another nurse, then 2 x-ray techs and then we watched an entire Disney film from start to finish, all the while waiting for a treatment that would have taken maybe 2 MINUTES in a competent clinic. Organizations like yours are the reason people are so fed up with the medical industry. Believe me I am going to make as much noise as possible. This is infuriating.

She asked what I'd be seen for and I told her my ENT needs me to see someone who can handle diseases spread by ticks, she laughed and said, "A Tick bite!? That's just silly!" She suggested I go to my PCP. Well, been there and done that. I'm in need of more help, but I guess she thinks she can make the diagnosis? This has already been traumatic. I took it religously as instructed and after two years of seeing her my a1c was12 or 14. She had her underlings see me and prescribe instructions to take insulin. No meds though. In all that time i at the end of my rope i went blind in my right eye. And because of her negligance and incopitance i lost a great deal of my vision. Now ive retinitis and seeping blood vessels in my eyes. I have had to go through torturous eye surgeries and beyond painful laser treatments. All because she prescribed me the wrong insulin for years. I still have eye damage but through the help of actual good drs ive healed tremendously well. I still have retinopothy so i can see small letters like in a book. I luv books very very much and im a proffesinal artist. I do very precise detail work and i hope that with my current excellent drs ill b ok. My a1c was with dr konigsberg was 17+14 but my new a1c with the help of my new dr its at its highest 8.2 and it at its lowest 6.2 i kept it bellow 7.0 for five years because of good drs. As somebody who works in customer service, I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I will be changing my doctor and different healthcare provider. All the questions I asked was answered with "that's the only thing the doctor wrote down". She also rudely hung up. Never got her name.. but I'd stay away from this place if you could.
