They where very fair on my pawn! They went out of there way to give the best price on the item.

They have everything. Random things and necessary things. They even have vehicles! Seems to always be busy (don't be in a hurry- just people watch....). I went in for a couple power tools and they had so many (a whole room just for tools). Go check them out before you pay retail prices. read more

Normally, this place is great as they might just about anything. Been doing good business with them for like 10 years. But today I was treated absolutely disgustingly, horrible and really messed up way right after walking through the door! Backstory is I own a side business doing basically the same thing as the pawn shop, buying stuff when it's cheap and a really good deal and resell it for a little bit of profit. Which I've been doing about 10 years. Needless to say, I have an overstock of items and decided I would bless this pawn shop with a ton of good items all brand, new and shiny in the box... not a single thing is stolen. So I came in yesterday and blessed them with like 50 pairs of brand new earbuds in the box. Today I come back and right after I walk through the door, the shorter black lady with shorter hair, not the taller black lady with long hair she's nice, but the shorter one was nasty to me right away. Someone at the counter looked at all my stuff I had and said wow you got a lot of stuff or something and immediately the lady says out loud oh yeah, he was in here yesterday with a whole bunch of brand new items. It's really suspicious.... And then basically told him to talk to the manager to see if they would even buy my stuff first or turn me away because it's so damn suspicious that I bring in new items even though I have a business doing this crap.... So basically she was calling me a thief and pretty much trying to get them to turn me away without knowing me, knowing my situation, or would I even brought them to sell.... They're not only that, but then she kept running her mouth and while the guy was talking to the manager through the glass, she kept yelling out all he has his earbuds.. it's just a bunch of earbuds... earbuds earbuds earbuds over and over again. When actually I didn't bring earbuds almost everything I had was brand new haircutting equipment. And really nice ones too like Norelco one blades, and those really nice six blade head, shavers, and stuff. Like good premium items. So again, not even knowing what the hell I brought, and she sitting here yelling out loud again and again and again trying to tell them what I have without even looking at it like a prick and an idiot... needless to say, I nearly turned around and walked out right away, cause I've never been treated that poorly and judged like that for no good reason whatsoever at any pawn shot I've ever been to in my life!! everyone else who works there are good people, but that lady is nasty, and disgusting behavior that's completely uncalled for and unjust. You're not only did all this, but she yelled at out loud for everyone in the pawnshop to hear.... Right in front of my face. It's the rudest crap I've ever seen in my life. Not only that they also lowballed me because they were too lazy to actually look everything up like they're supposed to. I saw like 60 or more of my products were in their display cases, many of them for as much as 10 times more than what they bought them from me for, which means they've been giving me as little as 10% of the items value, actually as low as 5% on some items, so they're making an absurd amount of money off of me and all these nice items I'm bringing them. And instead of getting the complete opposite treatment like I should.... They should be happy to see me come through that door to bless them with a bunch of brand new items that they can make a ton of money on... they should be giving me actually more than usual because I don't just bring in one or two items I've brought in hundreds and hundreds of nice items so I should be getting better than the average persons price and treatment. Instead, I get basically called a thief right after walking through the door and told all I have is this crap in this crap when I had nothing of the sort. It's really messed up. Looked to sell a few new radio speakers & a touch screen radio (both unopened & un-used) a few weeks ago. Service was great, everyone in there is always super friendly & helpful. I didn't get the value I was looking for out of my items, but you hardly ever do at any pawn shop. I'll be back for some of the cool stuff I saw in there though! read more

Called 2 days ago about a PC Tower they Had forsale. They informed me the tower was in the process of being reset. The tower in question was reset back to factory settings and was 89.99 (HP Pavilion Tower only). I come in today and ask for the tower. I speak to the gentleman who I had spoke with on the phone. He showed me the tower and how he raised the price to 149.99! I had drove up from franklin, IN to buy this. They are crooks and all around bad business!!! Stay clear!! read more

Don't forget a pawnshop is a great way to purchase things like a great computer at a good computer cost! A tool or who knows what. I bought a 2 year old computer that was probably close to 7 or 8 hundred dollars for 350! my husband and I were loyal customers at this store. Since the day they open their doors, my husband, being a friend of Eric's even brought in the countertops since they use in the back. We have been selling buying pawning at this location, as I said from the day, the doors open, my husband died three weeks ago unfortunately when he passed, he had an item in layaway. I contacted the store tonight to ask them if I could get a refund on his layaway since he passed away and I can't use the item and I can't afford to get the item out because the family is struggling both financially as well as emotionally , they refuse to do anything for me nothing so they get to keep my item because I can't afford it. My husband died and I'm broke. I can't even afford to pay my rent and keep the money that he paid into the item that he has in layaway! this is a very disgusting display of greed. Worst place ever. I read the previous ratings and chose to ignore it. Very regrettable decision. I took a very expensive piece of jewelry to see what they would have to offer. However, I was told my piece of jewelry was fake. The woman with the gap "tested" it in front of me and informed me multiple times that I had been "bamboozled" by a VERY well known jewelry company. Which was one of the biggest lies. I laughed out loud because she tried to convince me my jewelry was fake. IN OTHER WORDS, these people are willing to lie and trick you. They buy by salvage value. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I will never ever go to ANY pawn shop again. These people are unprofessional and have no experience in valuing products. A complete joke Amazon is a better option! ALSO, to anyone who reads this. If an individual is spending a considerable amount of time and effort on reviewing how terrible a place is... take the advice. read more

This is the first review I've written about a business in my 27 years on this planet. It's also the first time I've felt it necessary to warn my fellow Hoosiers about an business establishment. I actually loved this place the first time I went it. I ended up going to this shop on 4 separate occasions. First trip I bought a new phone. Unfortunately, it didn't work with my provider. (Information which any other pawn shop knows about the smartphones they purchase from patrons). That brings me to trip number two... I returned the phone and settled on an old iPhone that clearly was labeled as being a Verizon network phone. After talking with Verizon for a half hour, I learned that it was actually an AT&T phone. I returned it and decided to purchase my phone from Amazon. My third trip was to sell a Pioneer car stereo. There is a small Mexican man (boy really) that works the car audio department in the back. I spoke with him and he assured me that he would only be able to sell the stereo for $40. So him giving me $10 was generous. I agreed and sold him the stereo for $10. My 4th and final trip, I went back in a while later to test out an amp that I hadn't used in a long time. It was a 2000 watt amp that sells for $500 online. I told him I might be interested in selling it but I wasn't sure if it was in good running condition. This same little Mexican guy told me he could only give me $15 for it. I didn't agree to sell it for $15 but I told him we needed to see if it worked anyway. He wet to test the amp and while he was testing it, noticed the stereo I sold him priced at $75. Needless to say, I was pretty mad about that. But I decided to brush it off. He finished testing the amp an nodded to signal me that it worked and he started walking to the front of the store with it. I said "hold on man, I never said I was going to accept $15 for that amp. His reply was "well then I need $5 for testing it." I was bewildered at the audacity of this little s##t!!!! I had to laugh. He then proceeded to tell me that he doesn't want to do business with me because I wasted his time. You want me to pay you $5.oo to do your job? The job you are paid to do? Indy Pawn needs to get rid of this prick. I've seen him lose customers as I was looking through their subs. 3 of them in a row!!! If you include me, he actually lost 4 in a row. Sad. I'm sure the manager there knows all about this guys problems and refuses to do anything about it. Shopper beware, if you see something you like, make sure the little Hispanic guy doesn't see you checking it out. He might answer a question for you and then tell you you owe him $5.oo. Aside from that employee, the rest of them seem like good people. The gentlemen that helped me look at their smartphones was very personable and ready to answer any question I had. He gets an A+ for sure. If I owned a business, I would want all of my employees to learn from him. I believe the cell phone area was kind of his station because he was helping customers with smartphones all 4 times I was in there. If the manager of Indy Pawn happens to read this review, this is my honest advice. You need to lose the weakest link. If an employee tries to extort cash from customers while holding their possession, boldly lies to customers about the resale value of their item, and manages to lose 4 different customers in 4 different scenarios in a matter of 15 minutes, he may be bad for business. Just my opinion. But what do I know? I believed your employee was only going to ask $40 for that Pioneer. LMAO and SMH. Good luck everyone!!! read more

The best pawn shop ever. They have what I needed and I tried to bargain with them. And I got them with a very good price.

I bought a MacBook Pro from Indy Pawn and it works great! I use it almost everyday and I am a very satisfied customer. They didn't have the original Apple cord when I purchased the laptop but ordered the cord and called me when it was ready to be picked up, at no additional charge to me.
