We made the drive to Wycliff's showroom and were greeted by a handful of friendly, helpful staff who answered our questions well. We decided to bid online and, after a brief learning curve, got the hang of online bidding. We picked up our items the following Monday and genuinely appreciated the loading help they offered. These are really great, friendly, helpful folks who have had truly impressive estate items for sale. It wasn't just a lot of fun, we can't wait for the next auction.

All of the personnel I saw were wearing masks and observing social distancing while remaining friendly and very helpful. My item was located within minutes and it took longer driving back to the building from Madison Ave. than it did for them to find and bring me my purchase. Overall I was very impressed with the quality and variety of items they offered and especially with the ease of pickup. Very well organized layout to the facility and grounds and the personnel I interacted with were professional and polite throughout. But they always try to disclose that in the listing. And they do encourage you to stop by and inspect prior to bidding. If you want guaranteed "perfect" items, go to a retail store and pay full price. BUT if you love the thrill of the hunt and are smart about your bids, you'll often save 90% or more. I'm not kidding when I say I've gotten AMAZING high end museum quality furniture for mere dollars versus thousands of dollars. Not one, but TWO gorgeous FOUR HANDS chairs in an unopened brand new box for $9??? HECKY YA. IYKYK. sadly, they don't have quite as many furniture auctions as before, but believe me when I say there is no shortage of incredible stuff (parfum de marly & sisley black rose cream mask...yes, please!)...from amazing lighting fixtures to flooring, this is the place to come to. And the employees, as well as the other customers, are sweet as pie. The smaller items (home goods, sporting goods, electronics) are AWFUL! I get that its an auction, but EVERYTHING IS BROKEN, DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS! I spent $70 this last week, and nothing is usable but the boxes! Ive purchased busted sporting goods, a pair of shoes where one was missing, and some headsets that were leaking battery acid! I loved the rug I bought that had cat pee and stains all over it! I left it there!! Im not throwing away their garbage!! This week, I bought a pressure cooker that's base was smashed in! They hid it in the box so u find it when u get home! Even if u do discover while your there, they wont do anything because "its an auction. U should come here and inspect before bidding". Who has time for that - dont list obviously broken stuff!! Pkus, everything is absolutely filthy!! If want to wash your hads, the bathroom is worse than an outhouse!! This company is shady and overcharged me at a picker sale, and then lied about it…read more The man working the checkout table verbally told me an amount, never showed me his phone screen before asking me to tap for payment, and by the time I got to my car, I realized the error. When I went back to explain that I was overcharged, I was told I was lying and the man claimed he "would NEVER make such a mistake." It was genuinely so weird and deeply disturbing. (They will no doubt reply to this review claiming that I am lying because that is 100% who they showed themselves to be today.) His "solution" was for me to return everything and get a refund, but I wanted the items I got. So I'm left paying twice what I was told and he can go on being a crook. In the end, lesson learned about tapping for payment without seeing the amount with my own eyes, but I'm sharing this to prevent others from being swindled by this company/man. I also overheard them say that they burn most of what they don't sell if they can't trade things in for scrap...
