The pieces we were interested in were in excellent condition, and were absolutely lovely. We made the drive to Wycliff's showroom and were greeted by a handful of friendly, helpful staff who answered our questions well. We decided to bid online and, after a brief learning curve, got the hang of online bidding. We picked up our items the following Monday and genuinely appreciated the loading help they offered. These are really great, friendly, helpful folks who have had truly impressive estate items for sale. It wasn't just a lot of fun, we can't wait for the next auction.

Auctions are held about once per month with notices coming via mail and email with descriptions of pieces on their website. They offered previews on Friday 2-7:00 and on Saturday 1.5 hours before auction start. This is a family run operation. The gallery is well lit and very clean. The art is nicely displayed and organized. There is plenty of parking but limited seating for patrons. Beverages and lite snacks are available for guests. A security guard is on site keeping an eagle eye on merchandise. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. This morning the auctioneer proactively spoke with me on the order and timing of items for auction. You need to sign in to get a number paddle to bid. A 15 percent buyer's premium is added to each credit card purchase or 12 percent to cash or check payment. You need to factor the premium into each bid plus sales tax. Today's auction features vintage modern art, jewelry and furniture. I am not a fan of modern but there are some nice antiques and mid century funky pieces that I have in my sights. The gallery fills with about 100 whispering collectors. Online and phone line bidders participate as well, driving up prices. Dang. Online bidders pay a 20 percent buyers premium. There are 931 items listed in the catalogue that is provided to guests. After the catalogued auction there is a second room with more glass and art that will be part of a "market place" uncatalogued auction that starts after the catalogued auction. They offer "reserve" advance bidding prior for the catalogued auction for people that can't be present. It is interesting to see what others are buying but better when I can take something home.

Normally, this place is great as they might just about anything. Been doing good business with them…read morefor like 10 years. But today I was treated absolutely disgustingly, horrible and really messed up way right after walking through the door! Backstory is I own a side business doing basically the same thing as the pawn shop, buying stuff when it's cheap and a really good deal and resell it for a little bit of profit. Which I've been doing about 10 years. Needless to say, I have an overstock of items and decided I would bless this pawn shop with a ton of good items all brand, new and shiny in the box... not a single thing is stolen. So I came in yesterday and blessed them with like 50 pairs of brand new earbuds in the box. Today I come back and right after I walk through the door, the shorter black lady with shorter hair, not the taller black lady with long hair she's nice, but the shorter one was nasty to me right away. Someone at the counter looked at all my stuff I had and said wow you got a lot of stuff or something and immediately the lady says out loud oh yeah, he was in here yesterday with a whole bunch of brand new items. It's really suspicious.... And then basically told him to talk to the manager to see if they would even buy my stuff first or turn me away because it's so damn suspicious that I bring in new items even though I have a business doing this crap.... So basically she was calling me a thief and pretty much trying to get them to turn me away without knowing me, knowing my situation, or would I even brought them to sell.... They're not only that, but then she kept running her mouth and while the guy was talking to the manager through the glass, she kept yelling out all he has his earbuds.. it's just a bunch of earbuds... earbuds earbuds earbuds over and over again. When actually I didn't bring earbuds almost everything I had was brand new haircutting equipment. And really nice ones too like Norelco one blades, and those really nice six blade head, shavers, and stuff. Like good premium items. So again, not even knowing what the hell I brought, and she sitting here yelling out loud again and again and again trying to tell them what I have without even looking at it like a prick and an idiot... needless to say, I nearly turned around and walked out right away, cause I've never been treated that poorly and judged like that for no good reason whatsoever at any pawn shot I've ever been to in my life!! everyone else who works there are good people, but that lady is nasty, and disgusting behavior that's completely uncalled for and unjust. You're not only did all this, but she yelled at out loud for everyone in the pawnshop to hear.... Right in front of my face. It's the rudest crap I've ever seen in my life. Not only that they also lowballed me because they were too lazy to actually look everything up like they're supposed to. I saw like 60 or more of my products were in their display cases, many of them for as much as 10 times more than what they bought them from me for, which means they've been giving me as little as 10% of the items value, actually as low as 5% on some items, so they're making an absurd amount of money off of me and all these nice items I'm bringing them. And instead of getting the complete opposite treatment like I should.... They should be happy to see me come through that door to bless them with a bunch of brand new items that they can make a ton of money on... they should be giving me actually more than usual because I don't just bring in one or two items I've brought in hundreds and hundreds of nice items so I should be getting better than the average persons price and treatment. Instead, I get basically called a thief right after walking through the door and told all I have is this crap in this crap when I had nothing of the sort. It's really messed up. From now on I think I'm gonna go bless all the other pawnshops with my brand new stuff in the box since it's such a big problem to come there apparently...

I showed up today after a very long drive already in a mediocre mood. I went up to the front desk to ask about a Facebook Marketplace agreement I had made for a sofa set and the price, only to find out there had been some miscommunication. At first I honestly thought I might have been scammed, which instantly put me in a terrible mood. I definitely huffed around and complained about how far I had driven while trying to sort it out. Long story short...the Facebook Marketplace dealer was not a scam at all. We had simply misunderstood which pieces we were talking about. Fast forward to the end of the visit: three employees (two gentlemen and a woman / I'm sad I didn't get their names) helped me load everything and went the extra mile in every way. They were incredibly kind to me... even after my less-than-great attitude earlier. I tipped them and apologized for being grumpy, but I have to say I left there genuinely believing in people again. They handled the situation with so much patience and kindness. Very cool experience. I'll absolutely be back (with a better attitude!) and I'll be paying that kindness forward. Thank you to those three employees....even helped load my trailer. Seriously nice. Like....extra! Thank yoU!
