The bakery itself was cozy and had a lot of options for freshly baked bread, croissants, and pastries. They had a full coffee bar with lots of options as well. I like that they have a station set up where you can add any type of milk or sweetener you want, as well as condiments, plasticware, to-go bags and more. I opted for a healthy bowl of tomato basil soup, with a drizzle of pesto (served with a small, delicious roll) AND a less healthy piece of their old-school New York deli-style, single layer coffee cake with a moist golden cake with a (very) thick layer of crumb (sugar & cinnamon). It transports you back to old school deli cakes. The sign says all baked goods are made from scratch, in-house. My friend said the scones are terrific. 100% of the profits from this bakery go directly to the Business For Good Charity.
