3.5 stars For…read morestarters, the ambience here is amazing. Definitely a large open space with some more private rooms as well if you are reserving with a group for a special occasion. All of us got the Classic Menu set where they served us a selection of appetizers, entrées and desserts for £40 per person. This is definitely a more pricey meal but you get to try a bunch of different dishes. The appetizers were amazing. There were spring rolls, meatballs, skewers, noodles, etc and everything was delicious. The main courses were a bit disappointing as the flavors were not as good/some of the dishes were a bit on the lukewarm side. The curries were pretty much the only main dishes I liked from the selection provided. Finally, we finished with dessert, which comes with pineapple and those were really good. Overall, the experience was decent, though I do think the restaurant should focus a bit more on making the main dishes more flavorful/authentic. Other than that, it was great!

Came across this somewhat hidden, hole-in-the-wall restaurant while walking around the El Born…read moreneighborhood with my wife yesterday. The sign out front highlighted that they had both gluten-free and vegan options, so we decided to step inside for lunch. I ordered a Bao with tofu and pickles to start (3.80€) and then a tofu Bibimbap (9.25€) for my main course. For those who don't know, Bibimbap is a popular Korean dish that literally means "mixed rice." In addition to the tofu, it was served with sauteed vegetables and hot chili pepper paste on a bed of rice. My understanding is that it usually also is served with a fried egg, but of course, that was left off of my entree to keep the dish vegan. My wife ordered the Shoyu Ramen, made with rice noodles to keep the dish gluten-free. Everything was absolutely delicious! I only wish that we would have had the opportunity to return for another meal, but alas, that will need to wait for our next visit to Barcelona later this year.

The main dishes, basil chicken, basil tofu, pad thai tofu were excellent with just the right amount of heat. Let me repeat the dishes were very flavorful...even the thai basil was fresh and sweet. We did order fried rice but it was bland which was fixed with some soy sauce. Dessert...mango sticky rice - delicious!! If your look for tasty Thai in Barcelona give this place a try!! Happy eating!

Chicken satay was nice & moist with a little bit of charring and of course there was the standard peanut dipping sauce. Four small skewers but nice little appetizer. Green papaya salad had all the usual suspects so it was pretty legit. Could have been a little spicier with more garlic, but I at it all up. Nice and refreshing. Pad thai and green curry were both good.. Didn't knock my socks off but it hit the right spot. Prices weren't outrageous but a bit on the pricier side for what you get. The portions are enough for one person so don't expect to take home leftovers. I'd add an extra star if they had the usual condiments. I would have loved to add some pickled jalapenos and hot sauce.

The soup I selected was flavored with Keffir lime and lemongrass, and was delightful. The second plate was the version of what is usually labeled as Pad See Ew in Los Angeles - which is always my favorite go-to dish when I order Thai in LA. It wasn't exactly what I was longing for, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was also exquisitely spicy. I have a high tolerance for spicy, and this was a spicy dish... I'd like to return and try a curry dish. The service was fine, as was the setting. I'm glad we stumbled upon Thai Manohra - it's definitely a nice option when seeking something exotic, asian, and spicy.
