    Lobster roll

Decent meal but overpriced for what it is We had the lobster roll (3/5), habachi roll (4/5), grilled garlic shrimp (4/5), pork bao (5/5) and yuzu cheesecake (4/5). We also had 2 cocktails which were pretty good Overall no regret but wouldn't go back. Of you're hungry and at Nizuc it's a decent option

My man + I recently spent a week at Nizuc. What an amazing resort with several incredible dining options! We actually started our week with dinner at Indochine and decided to return on our last evening because there were a couple things we just wanted to enjoy again! Our trip occurred in early October which is, for some strange reason, the low season. We were told the resort was only 20-25% capacity which perhaps contributed to the insane level of service we received everywhere we went (e.g. everyone from the butler to the concierge to the drivers to the servers all magically knew our names!), but I feel like that's just what they do at Nizuc. Indochine offers a beautiful setting, particularly at sunset. We had no fewer than 3 servers and were tended to exceptionally well. The food was delightful. We tried several items during our visits, including the Dragon Roll, Lobster Roll, Malay Coconut Soup, Tandoori Sea Bass, and more. All were exceptional but it was the Dragon Roll and coconut soup that caused us to return. At first blush, their dessert options didn't sound that wonderful to us, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the Chocolate and Matcha Green Tea Castella Cake! Sooo yummy! They then brought a couple truffle-like chocolates with the check, which were also incredible! B O T T O M L I N E : Go! Great vibe and great food! Highly recommend the Dragon Roll and Malay soup!!!

We dined at Indochine on our second night at Nizuc. Reservations were necessary and were easy to make with the help of the concierge. The first thing I noticed after walking in was the darkness, but perfectly lit by fire, both from candles inside and the torches outside. The ambience is romantic, and everyone was well-dressed. We sat outside overlooking the ponds which were well-lit by torches in the middle of the ponds. Our waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful. We started with the lychee martini and cadillac margarita. The margarita was excellent, and we did order it multiple times at various bars/restaurants over the duration of our stay at Nizuc. The vegetable spring rolls and chicken satay were delicious. The star entree was the black cod. They unfortunately didn't have the mango sticky rice but we did enjoy the chocolate and matcha green tea castella cakes.

Oh my gosh, I cannot say enough. We returned late from a tour staving. We were fortunat enough to come across this restaurant located in the Nizuc hotel. Thank you to our waiter Alberto for impeccable service and very kind. Thank you to Raul who made sure everything was ok during our meal. Our food was absolutely delicious!!! They have a great chief who brought out to complimentary snacks so yummy. The atmosphere is delightful and chill music playing while we dined by he water. I cannot say enough compliments about this place. If you are in Cancun this restaurant is a must

Wow what a place! My husband and I are staying on the Nizuc property but Indochine doesn't disappoint if you're considering coming from outside. The people here are above and beyond accommodating and SO nice. They had a vegan menu for us which also had gluten free items on it! Staff is very familiar with what vegan is and they were so keen on making us happy. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant is dimly lit, with beautiful touches throughout and really help you relax. The only sad thing is looking around and seeing so many people on their phones. Enjoy the company you're with! TLDR: There's a vegan and GF menu! Top notch restaurant and service.

The best of the best Do not miss this great Asian treat Better than Nobu and zuma Located in the fabulous Nizuc Resort and Spa Well worth the visit

Took a taxi to this beautiful fortress of a resort. Stepped out of the van and felt like it was in another world. Sadly the weather was very still and the mosquitos were coming out in full force. Beautiful architecture is everywhere. Slowly Made my way to the restaurant so I could enjoy it all. Seated immediately near the front door which was not ideal but we were early and there were loud kids all over. It was romper room hour so the table was actually was the furthest from the happy meal kids. It worked out perfectly. Service was quick and Carlos the sommelier and I had a good time. He introduced me to some wonderful red bottles that I bought online as soon as I returned to the States. Sushi and spring rolls to start enjoyed by all. I jumped into the red meat and was not disappointed by the wine combination. My family had wonderful seafood. Definitely a destination. But worth it. Dress appropriately for the venue, as they ask. Go later in the night to avoid the children's hour.

Tune appetizer and the banana sushi roll. Tuna melts in your mouth.

I think we had somewhere between 3 or 4 waiters at our table making sure we had everything we needed- including bug spray! The food was amazing and so were the drinks. Everything about this place is top notch. The view is the most gorgeous thing I've seen in real life. I could've sat there all night. Go go go!

The staff were cordial, lovely, and attentive. It can get busy, but everything comes in good time and they always encourage you to go for more. I ordered the tuna and salmon sashimi- it'll come four slices each, and at the time I ordered the salmon slices were a bit smaller than the tuna. The nigiri comes one at a time, but be advised you can order as many at a time as you want. The individual nigiri is super tasty! I got the spicy chicken bao bun and misoshiru (shiru just means soup)- the miso is good, but the spicy chicken bao bun wasn't my favorite. The 'bao' was good but did not taste like bao as I know it traditionally, as well as that the spicy chicken was more of a zesty, a-la Chinese style. Finally, I got the Roses Sour mocktail (just without sake). The sour on this was delightful and worth many come backs. This spot is a really good start to the stay at this resort. I highly recommend reserving at least at the start of your day as reservations do fill up as the day goes on. We managed to book at 8:15pm at around 4:30pm as that was the first available time.

Some of their appetizers were enjoyable such as the tuna tataki w/ garlic chips, mixed vegetable tempura, and spicy shrimp wontons. Their sashimi is pretty good and fresh, their chutoro is nice and buttery, but that's about the only thing that saved them from me rating 1 star. I would pass on most of their other rolls and nigiri though. Having gone to many omakases and even Japan 4x, I guess I'm just really picky with my sushi. I was pretty disappointed overall. I got my favorite nigiri such as scallop, ikura, and eel, and they were all pretty average. The rolls were not good, got the spider roll and truffle unagi roll. And sad to say, their desserts were the worst... As a family, we got one of each dessert to try, but they weren't good. The mochi ice-cream skin was tough and felt inedible, it needs to have a soft chewy, stretchy texture. Also had the sago and the shaved ice, we couldn't finish it. The service there was actually so slow too. We got seated at 6:45pm and didn't get our first appetizer until 7:30pm... 45min wait!! (we did get served our drinks in btwn) And then even after that, our dishes just kept slowly coming in. We ended our night with their dessert around 9pm. We were there for almost 2.5 hrs from stay to finish. A lot of it was spent just sitting around. Out of all the restaurants throughout Moon Palace, this might have been my least favorite. I wanted to like it, but I guess making Japanese food was just not their forte in Cancún.

From Thai noodles to Indian samosas to Vietnamese Pho, there are so many choices. Loved the salad bar. The wide variety of cheeses, salads and seafood options was a great starter as we waited for our meal. Favorites included the hearts of palm, couscous and marinated artichoke hearts. Our server, Fernando, was so sweet. For apps, we had the Wonton de Atun, samosas stuffed with potatoes and green peas, and the Chicharron de Pesacado. All were delicious. The lamb vindaloo was okay for an entree. At Fernando's suggestion, we split the Helado frito con jarabe de chocolate. Fried ice cream is always a fun way to end an Asian fusion inspired meal.
