It's located on the basement of St John's Episcopal Church (across the street from the Shaws). The have ample off street parking and the basement entrance does have stairs. The prices were all very reasonable and every piece they have available is in perfect condition and season appropriate. They accept cash (check and cards are also accepted for purchase over $20). I was able to purchase nearly $75 of clothing and accessories for $26 and the money goes right back to the sellers and the community. I'm not about to clean a brand new necklace I said. She went and took it on herself to clean it. Everything here is beautifully curated, from the clothes to the random knick knacks strewn about the store. It is definitely a place that pays homage to the best parts of a bygone era. You can browse racks of blazers, ties, uniquely bright patterned linen shirts crafted in India (crafted in a material that designers no longer use, apparently), and feel as if you jumped in a time machine and landed in a well-dressed man's walk-in closet in the 1950s. I flipped through pages of someone's old travel journal, documenting their trip by sea to Europe. All in cursive, there was a page that struck out at me: "CAPTAIN'S AUTOGRAPH: E.C. Wiggle". This place is a gem. I now know what I would name my future dog, for sure:). This place is one part vintage heaven, one part history lesson, all parts My Favorite Store In All Of Portsmouth.
