On a recent girl's trip to Montana we decided to lock in some massages. With only a week advance planning; Indira was able to get us both in for 90 minute tranquility massages and SO glad we landed here! Near the downtown Bozeman area, we were easily able to find this little house which is unassuming from the outside when you think spa. Inside is so lovely, they had a little comfortable waiting room where you chill before you are taken downstairs for bliss. Jamie did my massage, and I dozed off which says everything in my book. She was absolutely amazing with the right level of pressure to make my 90 minutes go way too fast. My bestie had this tall young guy, and she said it was probably the best massage she ever had. She has a very physical job, so that says everything! On our way out, we perused the skincare products they had available for purchase, not leaving empty handed. Really sweet employees. Great prices and great vibes. The only reason for the stars is because we had a couples massage and one massage was fabulous while the other was more of a rub rather than a massage. When I mentioned I would like to work on certain areas, Omni was told it was more of a relaxing massage not a deep tissue. SHOULDNT I be able to ask for target areas? My partner was able to... so all in all- cute place I just wish I could've had a massage with some muscle relief. Didn't need to be deep tissue but a little more than a soft stroke would've been worth the money and would've satisfied my expectations. HORRIBLE!!!! - "We offer Massage Therapy, but our Massage Therapist isn't accepting any new clients - period, end of story, no further discussion, conversation over, click." I was given a $200 gift certificate to use for a massage session with Indira Spa and Wellness because I live in daily chronic pain. I have been waiting for a time that I could try to schedule child care and a break in my 4-job schedule so I could take a time to actually get some relaxation and help with relaxing some of the pain I carry. When I called in August to see if I could schedule one of the services, I was at first told they would check their schedule and get back to me later that day. 3 days later I received a call back from someone (not even sure if it was the same person or not) telling me that their Massage Therapist isn't accepting new clients at this time. I asked why they offer/advertise the services online then and I have a $200 gift certificate to use specifically for a massage. She just repeated that "Well, the Massage Therapist isn't accepting new clients any time in the future. But I was welcome to spend the gift card on a facial and nails." I told her I'm not a girlie girl and was coming in because of chronic pain and was only looking to schedule the massage services that they advertise on their website currently as "available". She was really rude in tone, unkind and presented zero compassion. I then asked her if there was any possible way I could be put on a wait list for this " 'said' massage therapist that is not accepting new clients any time in the future" and I could dang near HEAR the eye roll through her sigh in the phone. Almost felt like I was supposed to apologize at that point for asking this question because I had obviously beyond put her out well beyond her job description. Needless to say, she was curt, "supposedly" wrote my name down on a waitlist, which I doubt ever happened, and I am now stuck with a wasted $200 gift certificate to a place that does false advertising about amazing massage services that they don't actually perform unless you are already some sort of secret society client or member of said place. Beyond disappointed and sad to see another Bozeman established business turn this way. read more

My daughter, two granddaughters, husband and I went to Indira Spa this past Saturday, April 16th. All of the ladies that we had appointments with (facial, pedicures, massages) were awesome! Best Massage Ever, and I've had upwards of 500 massages over 48 years on Earth. Ask for Michelle, she's got an adjustable table and magic hands. Full shower available if you come directly from the slopes (we did) Looks like they've got a robust hair salon/make up/facials operation but we only had massages. read more

Hands down, this was the best money I spent on my wedding day. The day before they did my manicure and pedicure. I got a body wrap, massage, and facial before lunch to help with my anxiety issues on my big day. My maid of honor came with me as well. Then they brought us in lunch. It was around then that I found out that my entire wedding had fallen apart thanks to the venue. But Michelle and the other girls kept me smiling and tried to get me to relax while doing my hair and makeup. Everyone was so professional and friendly and kind and also SO talented at what they do! Michelle is the best--she owns the place and has been in the business for a very long time. I don't think there is anything she can't do! She knows it all! I'm the most uptight person and yet in two of my treatments she got me to fall asleep. On my wedding day! I needed that so much! And my makeup was perfect too--she studies everything she does. Naturopathic medicine, essential oils, massage, diet, makeup, hair, all beauty products--she just knows all about it! And she's a renaissance woman, she has designed and remodeled the entire place herself. I just have so much respect for Michelle and all her employees. They saved my wedding day. Without them I would have been too mentally and physically ill from the trouble with our venue (it was movie-scale epic disaster) to even walk down the aisle. I owe these gals everything! And I know my maid of honor feels the same way. Honestly, any service you get here will be the best money you'll ever spend. I can not recommend Indira Spa and Wellness highly enough!
