Initially she responded and we were supposed to speak over the phone but I never heard back so I followed up. She then did and we ended up speaking. I asked her to send me an invoice so we can lock in the date but she didn't for a while so I followed up again. She then did. Then the week of our scheduled photoshoot I saw the weather wouldn't be good on our shooting day and I texted her to hop on quick phone call to discuss further and potentially see how we can make it happen or pick a couple other shooting day options. Again no response for days who knows if I didn't reach out maybe longer. I reached out a third and final time to request a refund which I haven't received yet. I'm baffled by the fact that Mandy is running a business and lacking basic good communication, I've been repeatedly experiencing a lack of responsiveness in this short time of working together which has left wondering, kind of stressed and certainly taking all the joy out of it for me all while being in my last trimester of my pregnancy. She specializes in working with pregnant people and new moms, I just don't understand the lack of consideration and professionalism. Save yourself the headache and work with another photographer. I wish I did, now I'm running out of time hoping to find someone else to work with for a maternity shoot while still pregnant all last minute. Quite Upsettin!

Kym was very responsive, quick to provide reference photos to different areas as we were not locals and had never been on location before, and she helped pull off a seamless (almost) surprise proposal. I say almost because the weather did not want to cooperate. Obviously no fault of Kym's and she was extremely accommodating, offering to change the date to a better weather day. However we were too deep and afraid my sister would catch on if we switched days. The weather was in fact subpar, and Kym was so amazing that she offered to come back out the next day and continue the shoot to try and get better photos. She is never available at our times, canceled one appt 1 hour before scheduled time and last appt. on July 15th she never showed, when it was discovered on her website she had an event already booked at the same time! She actually tried to pass the blame to my daughter for her (Courtney's) lack of professionalism. We have decided due to months of trying to get our "award" honored that it is not worth it. After all, a gift certificate does not have any financial benefit, and we are uncomfortable with the idea of having our treasured photos taken by this "business"...
