The town homes themselves are expensive for what you get and once you move in you will rallies they are POOR quality! The paint peels and scuffs very easily as well as the walls themselves. So while moving in the smallest bump against the corner caused a cracked we have to patch and one isn't a big deal but this keeps happening over and over again. It seems as though when the last tenants moved out they just slipped some stuffed on the house to make it look presentable and gave it to us to make more money. About two weeks after we moved into the town home our hole house flooded while we were at work and we came home to water soaked from the third floor coming down to the second floor through the ceilings from the guest toilet( we did not have a guest). We ended up needing everything ripped out included the ceiling, carpets on both floors, bathroom and kitchen cabinets and tiles!!! To this day when we call about the toilets acting up the do NOT care, they tell us not to use toilet paper.... we have had our toilet clog and over flow about three times now and when I say over flow I mean need about 8 full sized towels to clean!!! The first time was obviously a larger mess then that. We have become so scared to use the toilets it's crazy! If they make a cream we are panicking!! Especially because they won't come and clean out all of the pipes or change the toilets or something. The community isn't very friendly but that's just the people living here and we don't mind that too much. We do find there isn't space for children to play at all so all the kids living here play in the middle of the street which is extremely dangerous, for such high prices they should be able to put a play ground in. The rounds themselves are POOR quality and they recently installed street lights but they only installed about 5 and the community isn't large but they only installed lights on one half and the other half is pitch black at night, very creepy and uninviting! If I knew all of this before I signed the lease I would NOT sign it! I would take my money and go somewhere better because my money would do better somewhere else!!! read more

We lived here for approximately 7 months on a short-term lease when we were in between selling and purchasing a home. Honestly, I have no complaints. It was the definition of maintenance free living. The home had everything we needed (I really liked the closet space!), and the staff was easy to work with. When they would need to do something in our house (i.e. replace the air filter), they would always give us advance notice. There was a minor issue with our dryer, and the property manager made sure to give me access to a vacant unit's dryer until it was fixed (a part had to be ordered, so it took a couple of days). In the winter, they do a pretty good job of clearing the snow, so we did not have any issues with parking. There is a nice little hill for sledding behind the group of townhomes by the drainage basin. As for the community, everyone keeps to themselves for the most part. Not to mention, there is no main road nearby to make traffic noise. So, it was quiet. There is a grocery store within walking distance, along with several restaurants. The school district is great, they even have an after-school activity bus for middle and high schoolers that drops off right at the end of the community. When we gave our non-renewal notice, they provided us with a helpful list to work with in terms of what needed to be done before we moved. They were even nice enough to let us schedule the carpet cleaning after our lease end date so we didn't have to move out a few days early. read more

Whatever you do, do not move here! For the price you pay for rent, you are better off living in York City! That's what it feels like living there! Too many people moved here from Baltimore, and they brought the ghetto with them! Thankfully we got out when we did! I would never recommend this place to anyone! The kids in the neighborhood are awful, the parents don't care and my family became the minority! The first year we lived there was awesome, but after that, it went to crap!! Been here for a little over a year. The town homes are nice and spacious BUT the community is going downhill fast with the new people that are moving in. Loud, rude & ghetto! It's almost as if they are renting to Section 8 now. So much has changed in a year. Went from nice professional office staff; polite friendly & quiet neighbors to ghetto trash all around! The office manager Jennifer has left, not sure if Lou the maintenance guy has left yet but I honestly can't see him staying with the new manager and residents. It's just an overall different vibe here now and not for the best. The new office manager is never there, calls and voicemails go unanswered. Maintenance request go unresolved and then there's the rude e-mails from the new manager to the community. It's really unfortunate because this place has the potential to be a great little community. I feel sorry for the homeowners who share the area back here as I'm sure eventually it may bring down the value. I wouldn't be surprised if within 2-3 yrs Dallastown area schools will motion for a school zone change and I wouldn't blame them! It's only a matter of time before this area will become Baltimore City II. read more

Would not recommend this community unless you like an urban environment in a rural area. It seems once the riots happened in Baltimore last year many of the residents of West Baltimore relocated to Indigo Pointe. They brought with them crime, noise, disrespectful children and general plight. The management office offers a series of resident rules but doesn't enforce them. They charge high rent and residents get poor living conditions. Look elsewhere for much less and much more. read more

At first this was a great place to live but after the first month the hype wore off. The office staff are rude and unprofessional. The property manager Jenn is extremely nasty and rarely answers phone calls or emails. When emails are answered they are done so with a derogatory and negative tone. There is only one maintenance man on the entire property and he is unable to get to every call in a single day. The neighbors are loud and disrespectful. This isn't a neighborhood or community. We were never able to see our unit prior to moving in. We were promised the same layout and condition of the model. Upon moving in there was no carpet in the house and they were in the process of installing. We moved in Aug 18' and moved right out in Nov 18'. We put up with chewed up cabinets and walls, pulling people's hair from drains so water would drain, cleaning leftover "juices" from surfaces and the inside of vanities and kitchen cabinets. What put us over the edge was finding aged dog feces beneath our oven. We welcomed our fourth child and I could no longer let my children live in this kind of environment. I agreed to pay the $2,998.00 for terminating my lease. I agreed to pay the full month's rent while we did not even occupy the unit on top of it (an additional $1,499.00). One week after moving out I received a notice that our security deposit was being kept ($1,000) and we owed $150.00 on top of it. I was medically retired from the United States Marine Corps and this was our first home post military. We occupied 8 homes in the past 7 years. Never once have I been charged, let alone had my security deposit seized. So if after 8 years of good standing with 7 separate companies how could this happen over 3 months with 1 company? Simple. The management had changed and the new owners are charging outbound residents for the damages the prior owners overlooked. If a management company had the morals from a residential and business standpoint to act with such shade, what else are they willing to attempt? My monetary responsibility nears $5,000 to get my children out of a "home" which we shared with dog feces and leftover excessive biological contaminants. Keep up the garbage management Indigo. Concurrent with managements change, our unit was never looked at. The maintenance manager specifically said during our move-out inspection "I am taking pictures for my records since we have not been inside of most of these units." Thanks for the heads up. We were going to be held accountable for whatever was found. All previous occupants. We even documented all stand-out items at move-in. I was first served by Stephanie later charged by Nikki Miller. When we first moved to here we where told this property was kid friendly and it was not... if you have children do not I repeat do not move here. There is no where for the kids to play and the community does not want the kids to even play in there drive way.... The town-homes are very expensive and the maintenance crew knows nothing, We have been here for 2 yrs and out of the two years our kitchen sink has had to be fix 8x... the toilets are all ways getting backed up. The office manger Tori is very unprofessional and knows nothing about customer service.. I have even heard her having grown up conversion with other children which was not her place... When we 1st moved in the property manger was Jennifer and she was amazing that property is nothing with out her... The only good thing I can say about living here is the Dallas town school district is awesome... please read all the reviews before you sign your lease for $1399 you can get a home that offers so much more and especially if you have any children. read more
