The customer service via email would only offer a small discount and would not answer questions about a replacement. When I called they were even more rude in person and could not speak to the replacement process at all. Overpriced, snob, and unwilling to help. Fun store to walk around but not worth purchasing from.

Also they make fresh treats and sweets. Lovely atmosphere too. Only small complaint is that on one day I came by before they were closing at 4pm and since everything was cleaned up I couldn't get an espresso.

The menu is quite plain, and I still haven't figured out how to order in the appropriate place. Seating is challenging... not the first time I walk in, take a seat and turns out the table is reserved (and no sign of said reservation in plain sight... must be a code...). Service is often disappointing in Brussels... For those like me that come for some good food, a bit of peace and quiet under good music, it's a nice place.

I love the interior - luckily, as it's an interior shop as well - and the public is mixed. Old people, young people, hipsters, not so hipsters (us) and families. A nice discovery.

Heck a piece that I fell in love with cost €700 but would cost $5,000 easily in the U.S! Sadly we can't buy furnishings, as we are in a furnished apartment & the lift is way too small to take these works of art onto our apartment. I focused on the curio cases... I wanted the stuffed squirrel. The wife said no. I wanted the used bongs, the wife said hell no! So we settled on a oriental knife & a mental swan.... Total €48. Cost in the USA $250 if not more! If you're from America go there! If you're European enjoy your bargains!

The owner Kurt Vermeer, laughed about my injury, which he referred to as a "scratch" and insisted that he would not pay for my treatment. I required reconstructive surgery and paid over 2000 euro out of pocket. Without treatment, I would have had a DEFORMED THUMB FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. This injury occurred as I left the shop after purchasing a 3000+ euro sofa... It's been 6 months and I haven't received any compensation, true to his word. I regret ever entering BoConcept and giving Kurt Vermeer a cent of my money. Please never shop here. Save yourself from 6 months of extreme pain and suffering and buy a sofa from IKEA or from anyone else. Sorry for the graphic photos, if they appear, but this is the reality of what shopping here looks like!
