I'm so glad we have an outlet mall close to home! I'm always on the hunt for a good bargain, and this is one of my favorite places to shop. The outlet is set up like a strip mall with lots of different stores, so be prepared to do a lot of walking. There is plenty of parking throughout the property, so you can park near whichever stores you plan to visit. We usually end up walking all over because I like to browse as many stores as possible. One thing I appreciate is that many stores offer additional discounts beyond the outlet prices. When you walk in, the employees will often let you know about any extra sales or promotions happening that day, which can make the deals even better. We come here frequently, especially for the Nike store since my kids love shopping there. I was looking for stuff for my vacation, but didn't find anything in the Nike store. Over the years, I've noticed that some stores have come and gone, and it's always nice to see new additions. One of the newest and most popular stores is Lululemon. If you're planning a trip, it's worth checking the outlet's website beforehand for a complete list of stores so you can plan your shopping route. We went on Monday of Memorial Day weekend and it was super packed! This outdoor mall is sure to have something for everyone. Parking can be a bit crazy, but I've never visited when I couldn't find a spot somewhere. It just may not be super close to the store you'd like to visit! Today there were food trucks setup for all to enjoy. They also have a small area for kids to play. read more

Lots of stores and some real bargains! I had good luck shopping the Clearance racks at Eddie Bauer and at Columbia. I bought a nice long-sleeve shirt at Eddie Bauer for $10 and two pair of shoes at Columbia for $30 total. The staff at both stores were friendly and helpful. It's worth stopping here to shop because you never know what great deals you may find. read more

There is A L O T to explore at this large outdoor outlet mall in southern Indiana. I love that it's right off interstate 65 and near a gas station and starbucks, which is perfect for a road trip break. They have decent restrooms located inside. I tend to stick to one side for the sake of time, but can spend hours here if you wanted to. Lots of parking, lots of walking to get to everything. I'd imagine those visiting or living close spend a whole day here! The value of things is the biggest allure - I love coming and shopping for Christmas gifts! read more

This is the closest outlet mall to the Indy area and it's a quick drive! The selection of stores are decent to what you'd find in other outlet malls. I did notice more smaller, local shops that are starting to come into some of the spaces. They've definitely added an entrance archway towards the front side of the shop to create a welcoming ambiance with cool horse sculptures coming up the main drive into the mall itself. read more

It's a bit of a drive, but there are many shops here, with great deals throughout the year. There's plenty of parking spaces located throughout the perimeter of the shopping center. They organize the stores well too, making it convenient to visit a few places without walking too far. Then you can drive and park next to your next grouping of shops, like I did. read more

It's a bad rating for me because we drove an hour to get here only to not be able to get a wheel chair. Security said that the outlet does not do wheelchairs on the weekend. WHAT!!! Finally made a trip after talking about it for years. Lots of stores to choose from and I was surprised at how affordable everything was. I even stopped in at stores that I would normally avoid in a regular mall. It was fairly busy right when opened at 11am on a Monday. Simon malls hit the mark with Edinburgh Premium Outlet Mall. Surrounded by corn fields and conveniently located just off interstate 65, the mall is a hour south of Indianapolis. Five buildings house 80 retail shops in the outdoor strip mall. The mall attracts crowds on any given weekend. They have become famous for opening at 6:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day to kick off the shopping season. Customers flock from Louisville and as far away as Atlanta for a chance to get 60-70 percent off department store prices. I am one of those shoppers. The stores mainly specialize in clothing, hand bags or shoes. There are 2 kitchen stores with limited offerings and no household stores. On their website you can find a list of the stores with hours and specials. You can also sign up to receive coupons and extra bonus perks through email. On a crowded day, maneuvering in the parking lot can be challenging. There are often long lines of cars trying to get in and out and find parking. If you go during the week is is easier to get around but the sales are not as good. I find if I park in the back I can get in and out easier. There are a limited number of outdated rest rooms on two ends of the mall. I counted three sets total which is inadequate on a busy day. The restrooms are not well maintained. There is no food court to pick up a quick bite or coffee but there are a number of chain restaurants adjacent to the mall. On busy weekends local establishments set up tents to sell coffee, donuts or popcorn. There is limited bench seating throughout the mall to rest your weary husband. I read more

Being an outdoor outlet shopping center, there is plenty of ways to literally "shop until you drop." Pros: 1. Lots of retail stores offering discounted prices. 2. Variety of stores. 3. 45 minutes drive south of Indianapolis, IN, and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Louisville, KY. 4. Couple of hotels across from the mall if you need to shop for more than one day. 5. More restaurants have been built in the area to either sit down for a menu or grab something to go. 6. Coupon book available at guest services. 7. Lots of parking. Cons: 1. Not enough restrooms overall. 2. No warming areas if you visit in the winter. I recommend calling before you visit to verify opening hours. read more

I like to head down to this outlet mall when I need new gym/running shoes. Nike, Adidas, Saucony and Sketchers all have stores here. The mall its self is showing it's age and there are more empty stores than there used to be. There are still enough stores to make the drive from Indy worth it. Columbia always has great deals on outdoor wear. Eddie Bauer has great winter coats. There's also J. Crew. Banana Republic, Loft, Under Armor, Michael Kors and more. read more

Pretty enjoyable shopping experience. Came here with the family and everyone had a great time! We all loved the idea of outlets being outdoors, completely different feel than an indoor mall. They should def add more seating areas for families to enjoy their lunch. Also, wish there was more eating spots or cafes! Good outlets and decent discounts, but not a lot of selection and definitely lacking premium brands despite the name. Most buildings look dated. The mall could use a facelift to look like 2020, not 1980... Parking was easy and all stores were pretty strict about masks and number of people inside which was great. On the other side, you gotta wait an hour to get into the Nike store Most of the shops had friendly and helpful employees. Road construction as of September 2020 makes it very difficult to drive back North due to lane closures and heavy traffic, especially on the weekends. It's hard for people to get out of the mall. Use old hwy to get back quicker and save time. I'd personally prefer Clay Terrace or The Fashion Mall - definitely more pleasant shopping experience. Some stores had great sales but not much in the way of merchandise we wanted to buy. Other stores had lots of stuff we wanted to buy but no really outlet prices. I was surprised for as big as it looks from the highway, there aren't that many stores. The other outlet malls in Michigan City, Cincinnati, Wisconsin and Florida are much bigger. I went looking for home decor and there really isn't any stores there for just home decor. I thought there would be a pottery barn, restoration hardware or crate and barrel outlet, but there's not. That's my fault for not looking online first. There is a lot of construction on the property and there isn't s lot of parking right near the inner rows of stores. We didn't mind because the weather was beautiful but on a yucky day this is not a place I'd want to be shopping for a long time. We did shop and spend in Polo, Skeechers and wanted to buy something in either Kate Spade (which wasn't listed on the brochure but is across from Polo) or Coach but I could t find a purse to meet my color, material and size requirements. Hopefully when construction is over the buildings will be fresh and inviting but we found it a little small and limited in offerings. read more

This is a very nice, huge Outlet Mall. It's laid out just right for us. She picks out the shop and I drive up to the front, park in front and wait for her. I don't enjoy shopping and this way works for both of us. She found all the shops she wanted to see and I got to catch up on my email. There is a very nice selection of all of the major brands here. This outlet is less than an hour from where I live and I have been coming here regularly for almost 20 years. My biggest, and maybe only, issue is the horribly maintained and disgusting-smelling restrooms. There aren't enough of them spread out on the property, especially on the side closest to the entrance. Today, one of the few restrooms was closed. When you open the door and walk into the building where the restrooms are located (not the actual restrooms), the foul smells hit you in the face. Water is all over the sinks, half the toilets don't flush properly, and they always smell bad. This is the situation each time I visit, not just today. This outlet mall is always crowded and deserves to have better restrooms. read more

If you're a bargain hunter then try to make a day of it, shopping for some of the finest designer labels and leading brands at decent savings at 85 outlet shops located in Edinburgh between Indianapolis and Louisville. The outlets is featured with tremendous parking area and several hotels and restaurants in the vicinity. Nice mix of stores so everyone will find one they just have to go in. We found some great bargains and the employees were helpful and friendly. I wish I could say the same for the general public shoppers. That isn't the outlet's fault though. The stores were neatly kept and although the restrooms could use a little attention, they weren't gross, just needed trash emptied and the floor swept. read more

I love shopping the Edinburg Outlets! From designer names to household goods there is something for everyone. Be prepared on the weekends and holidays, they draw big crowds. My favorite is the J Crew and Coach stores! I'm almost positive there is a sale on some outstanding quality products weekly! Men usually don't shop Coach but the shoe selection and travel accessories are great! Never leave without something I can use or give as a gift! J Crew keeps me looking good in the large variety of sport coats and dress shirts. It's usually pay full price for one shirt and get your second shirt half price! Love the Johnston and Murphy shoe store. You want younger clothing it's there! And if you love to smell good check out the cologne store! Edinburg Outlets is without a doubt a great outing! First time here and I was ready to go after leaving Coach ‍. Why? Because I had already went way over budget and we had only been to one store! We cleaned up in Coach and we did major damage in every other store we hit. It seemed like everyone had a 70-80% off sale! Our favorite stops were Coach, Vera Bradley, Michael Kors and Kate Spade. Everyone was very helpful and most stores provided a list of the discounts and what the prices would be afterwards. We didn't buy a lot of clothes but we bought things that were classic pieces that would last us for years to come (purses, shoes, garment bags, etc). We will definitely go back now that we know what to expect. This is a great place to shop for the holidays. Some the stores were disappointing like the kitchen store and there aren't many home stores to choose from. Another thing is that if you want to eat there's no food court or place to grab a quick bite. You literally have to get in your car and go to a restaurant (which is not far at all). read more

Tony and I walked around the entire outlet mall 2 weeks before Christmas. It was packed but we were able to see it all. I was able to get into the stores that I wanted and needed to plus was able to get my indeed photos for my second job. I found some really great bargains. Just wish the yelp app would let you check into stores fast enough..some of them I was only in a few minutes, my quick walk thru just to see what was on sale. Pretty wide selection of stores in a convenient location.

For anyone who thinks shopping malls/centers are dying, I suggest visiting this location for a revitalized opinion. Every time I go here, I find nearly total capacity for the shops. The place is kept clean and in good maintenance too; So different from many of the urban shopping malls that are seeing decline. I've seen some negative reviews because shoppers aren't finding big discounts like they might expect from an "outlet" mall. But when I read the title, it has the word "Premium" which means upscale/higher prices, so I go in with the expectation of finding something I might want with a fair price point (i.e. close to full retail). I noticed on my last visit that the mall did have a food truck on site as well as adding a new pretzel and a new ice cream shop. Before, I always had to leave the campus to get something to eat which meant more hassle finding parking. The mall also has a playground on the east end to allow kids to burn off some energy while shopping. Great idea! I do agree that the lack of stop lights on the broader campus of the mall makes for a back up of people trying to turn left to get back to the highway. So, if you want to avoid waiting in traffic, either go during non-holiday or weekends, or drive around the mall to the north end and have a straight shot to get onto the main road exiting the mall (Market Drive). When my thrifty shopping catches up to me and I need something nice (but still don't want to pay full price), this is where I visit. My family stops here once a year when we're on a road trip and happen to drive by it. We've learned not to buy clothes full price anywhere, ever, when you can get the same things here for 50% off. There's not always huge sales, but there's always more sales than the actual stores at a regular mall. Here are the best stores to visit: -J Crew -Ann Taylor -The Loft -Gap -Nine West -Eddie Bauer -Nike -Under Armour Also- if you need kitchen or home supplies, there's a few budget home stores. Definitely pull over if you're driving past! Heads up that there's mostly only fast food around it. read more

If the outlets were any closer, I would be so broke! But 45 minutes is a good distance for me to go once in a few months/years so I'm not too tempted. I like the variety of stores here - they have some higher end stores and then your everyday, more affordable options. Don't ever go to this LIDS. First we picked 2 hats and got them embroidered, spelt the name wrong. Then they didn't have another hat that we picked the first time, so then we had to pick a different hat. Got that one embroidered and it was crooked. They wouldn't even take the hat back because we left the store with it and should have noticed that it was crooked. No y'all are crooked!! I won't ever go back there. read more

The Edinburgh Premium Outlets have a lot of ups and downs going for them. For the ups, I would have to start with the store selections. Overall there was a pretty vast array of stores there. A little something for everybody. I also really enjoyed the layout of the stores. It's basically one giant circle that you can easily navigate through from one end to the other and not miss any stores in between. Now for the downs, the biggest noticeable down is that the entire outlet mall seems very dated. It doesn't seem like it has been renovated in the last 15-20 years at least. It's most noticeable in the common areas (the restroom areas, the office areas, etc.). Even in the stores you can tell by the floors and the walls and fixtures that it's just not been kept up with that well. In some of the higher end stores it is quite distracting. Also, there is no kind of food court/food option within the outlet mall. There are a bunch of food options in the surrounding areas of the mall, but nothing within that I could see. It's nice to have the option of a snack or a quick meal while shopping, and I don't quite understand the outlet malls that don't have this feature. Wouldn't you want to keep shoppers from leaving to eat? I'm sure some would not come back. If we were in the area again I would consider stopping here, but there really isn't anything special enough to warrant a special trip. read more

The stores were ok, but the inventory seemed lower quality and priced similarly to regular quality in the stores on sale. I know most outlets have a separate product line, but I'm not sure what the appeal is if you can go to their regular stores, and get better merchandise for the same price? Also, the restrooms were frighteningly bad, like gross and extremely outdated. read more
