Sit back and let me tell you about my time at this north korean run marina. I've been a good customer here for about 5 years. I always paid my storage fees on time and paid thousands in repairs. When you first get here, its easy to be complacent because it is nice visually. The grounds are neat and clean and the location is perfect for me. The marina area where you dock you boat is protected from the wind, which helps make docking much easier. This is where the fun ends. There is never anyone to help with docking. You have to tie up, and manually walk your boat the length of the dock to the forklift, not much fun at the end of day out on the water and in the sun. The wash racks are splintered husks of cracked wood that creak and groan mercilessly when they drop your boat down. It always sounds as if the hull of my boat will split apart. They covered this up with some cheap blue fabric. The service dept, if you can call it that, is a freken joke. Besides being an egregiously overpriced ripoff, the mechanics are morons. I can't tell you the sloppy ways my boat was left after being worked on. The grease marks on the vinyl, trash left by the helm, a total disgrace. They are so inept, management wont allow them to work on any other engines but Yamahas. Yes, that's correct! No Mercury, Suzuki or Volvo-Penta. So you're completely screwed if your boat has different engines. I wouldn't trust these guys with my lawn mower. The time has come to upgrade; so I'm now selling my boat, so I talked to one of the warden's minions, Jen. She's a total piece of work. I just assumed that I could buy a boat and just put in the spot I'm renting now. NO WAY! She recently told me the slip that I'm renting is for my boat only. As soon as I sell it, my spot is gone. The only way I can stay is to BUY a boat from them. Can you believe that b.s.? They won't work with any other dealers/brokers, so don't expect them to price match. SO, if I want to stay there, I'm being extorted (black mail) to have to buy a totally overpriced robalo, 4 winns or chaparral. She said they don't want me to buy a boat they don't sell. I'm now buying a custom made SeaFox 268 Commander from Black Label Marine. These guys are all about customer service. I highly recommend them before you even think about Indian springs. The boat I'm putting together is loaded and thousands less than one of their robalo's that has much less options. So be warned! Stay away from this marina at all costs! Once you bring your boat there you either have to keep the boat you have or get kicked out for upgrading/selling to a different boat. Unless of course, you buy from them and overpay by 75%. But....then they will have a spot for you to keep. What a deal huh? read more

Had an issue with this marina after attempting to fuel there. Because of their ridiculous pump system, I was unable to fuel with the pump I selected because it was locked but their credit card payment card reader had already charged my account. I thought the matter would easily be resolved by going to their office and explaining what happened with their pump, WRONG! To make a rather lengthy unpleasant experience trying to get a refund short, it took no less than two visits to their office and numerous telephone calls about the matter before I finally received a refund more than a month later. Horrible and rude people to deal with! Beware and steer clear of this marina. read more

I've been in contact with Mary from Indian Springs Marina since February about the transfer of hull and engine warranty on a boat I just purchased from the original owner who purchased it from Indian Springs. Mary repeatedly assured me she could help with each of these transfers, but never made any meaningful progress. She blamed COVID and workload and other people, but she also never once returned a phone call of mine (and there have been several during these 7 months). I ended up contacting both the boat and engine manufacturers directly, and the process was very easy. It took maybe a few emails back and forth, so I don't believe there was any problem due to COVID. It just didn't seem like Indian Springs cared to help in this process whatsoever. If they can't help you after they've sold the boat, why would I want to buy a boat from them in the first place? read more

Had a great experience buying our boat here. Jen and her family are great -- walked us through everything we needed to know to get on the water safely. We also used their high and dry for a month and everyone there was great. Excellent service and attention to detail. When it was time for some routine and cosmetic maintenance on the boat at the 2-year mark, we brought it back here again and everything was handled professionally and within budget. I purchased my Robalo 246 Cayman Series at Indian Springs Marina in June 2015. Jenn was very helpful in assisting us in our purchase. She helped us to consider the various options that would suit our needs without trying to upsell us or pressure us. After we placed our order, she communicated with us as needed throughout the process and help to secure the arrival of our boat more quickly than we thought we would have it. The facility is clean and relatively easy to get in and out of. The service personnel are all very helpful. I scheduled my first maintenance a few weeks after I obtained the boat. They knew I had limited time and put three guys on the job for me so that I didn't have to wait long. The guys went out of their way to give an extra touch of attention to minor details. This was the best Boat buying experience we have ever had from start to finish. The Vinci family was just not interested selling us a boat, but just as interested in suggesting the right boat for your family, that's more important than you think. Our boat was delivered exactly when they said it would be and when it was prepped, one of their people took us on a shake down cruise and showed us as much as we good absorb. Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences of my life! We are in the market for a boat here in Florida. We have test drove a few boats and have not yet found the right boat. So far everyone else have been open to us test driving the boat until we hit Indian Springs Marina. When we spoke to the president CEO Louis Vinci we advised that we needed a signed contract to drive a boat. He was rude and insulting. My fiancée is a Captain for a major airline. We live on the water in a boating community. We do not need to try to get free boat rides!!! I have never dealt with such an arrogant condescending ass in my life and I've been a flight attendant for 25 years!!! Stay away. Do not give this jerk a dime of your hard earned money! read more

Everything about our experience with Indian Springs Marina was terrific! The whole family bent over backwards for us in our efforts to purchase a Robalo R247 (a great boat if you are looking for fishing and watersports). First, Steve, the architect in the family, spent nearly an hour with us at the boat show going over every detail of the boat. The next day, the "dad" in the family, Lou, helped us determine exactly what options we wanted and what was available from the manufacturer - and it turned out he had already picked out all of the "best" options. From there, Jenn took us out on a test drive and a couple days later, Allison (I hope I got this one right), sealed the deal for us with her kind and understanding manner. But the great service did not stop after we made the decision to purchase the boat. In fact, it only got better. I believe it was "Mom" who jumped in and helped us with the paperwork as we only had an hour or so before heading out of town. Mom was actually on vacation out of town, but was nice enough to take time away from her vacation (one that I was told later only happens once in a blue moon) to help ensure we could complete the paperwork without having to make a trip back. One of the other sons, (I apologize for not remembering his name) then helped ensure that we could have access to the boat over the holidays while the marina was shut down and found a convenient place to install a VHS given a bridge clearance issue we are facing. We have our ten hour service check coming up next week and I am sure that our next encounter with the service side of the business will be as positive as all of our experiences to date. If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a $230000 boat that had issues. We took to get it worked on under warranty and they didn't put it back together correctly. The windshield was off track and loose and when we ask for them to fix it before taking home they said no one was there to do it. Zero customer service!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced, all's good till you pay for you're new boat. I paid 150K for new Everglades 255, took over 2 years to get issues corrected -had to deal with Everglades direct. Every body there is rude (especially Michael, the son) everyone there acts like they hate there job and they don't want to be there. This is the first negative review I've ever submitted, EVER! I understand business, I own an Auto Body Collision Shop and I hate to throw rocks a anyone. I have nothing but praise for this family owned business, especially Jen. I purchased a new 33ft 2018 Signature Chaparral in late 2017. After running the boat for 4 hours, the port engine immediately shut off. This occurred twice on long trips as well as 2 other trips. In each instance, Jen answered her cell and tried to help. She called other Marinas to look at the boat and/or get us sleeping arrangements. We were unable to detect the issue as there was never a fault code for the computer to read. After 4th failure, they replaced the ECM and perfect ever since. This was a manufacturer problem not Marina. read more

After spending over $220k on a brand new Robalo 317, I assumed I would be treated like a valued customer... I was horribly mistaken! From delivery of the boat to service work, and warranty issues, this family took every opportunity to drop the ball.. lack of communication, insulting remarks, delivering a dirty boat, and causing more damage while trying to fix warranty repairs. They blame everyone else and never take responsibility or ownership of their deficiencies... My husband worked with Jenn and had a good experience purchasing our boat. I found Jen and her mom to be pleasant and helpful. Storing our boat at this marina has been excellent due to the outstanding service provided by Jamie, the forklift operator. He is always friendly, helpful and responsive. Sometimes he has our boat ready for us before we can gather our belongings from our car. We did not have the same positive experience with the other forklift operator but fortunately we have consistent excellent service from Jamie. read more

I would avoid this place! They are around the corner from my house, so how convenient. All I wanted to have done was someone install the bracket for a powerpole, not the powerpole itself; I can do that. just the bracket. Had to explain it to the lady three times, before she told me she couldn't commit anyone to it... WHAT!?! I only need you because you have a lifting ring to attach to the motor so you can slide the bracket between the motor and the transom. That's it... And I explained that. The family that owns this place keeps the marina very nice. They are on top of it! It's very quite there... Some marinas are so chaotic that you end up waiting awhile to get your boat in. Downside is they close earlier but if you get in late and tie your boat to the dock they will get it the next day and clean off your boat for you. read more

We bought a Robalo 206 Cayman from Indian Springs in 2018 and the boat somehow only has a fuel capacity of 40 gallons vs advertised spec of 50 gallons! This has been proved over and over. ISM refuses to take any responsibility or even help us get this resolved with Robalo. Jenn told us we just needed to gas up the boat more often to make sure we don't run out of fuel! What a great idea!! Like so many other reviewers have related, everything was fine with ISM until we gave them our money. These folks have zero customer loyalty. On a Sunday morning the sun was shining bright and the weather was beautiful for a day on the water in Indian Rocks, Florida. The staff was on time with setting the craft in the water and there was plenty of parking for everyone. Today would turn out to be a wonderful day to go out on the water and visit Clearwater Beach and boat the Gulf. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your day. Upon our return the staff immediately came to secure our craft for cleaning. Our first meeting at the boat show and several follow-on meetings at their marina were all professional, informative, friendly, and above all honest...they made us feel like family!! Jenn and company delivered what was promised and much, much more. It was our first boat purchase and we had not driven a boat in 30 years. Jen and Josh (great employee...don't lose him to competition) took two afternoons getting us comfortable with the boat's handling characteristics to include hands on instruction in docking the boat in various tight slips. Just purchased a brand new boat from an out of town dealer. Called Indian Springs 3X's attempting to purchase a power-pole w installation. This is around a $2500 ticket. I also live 3 blocks from the dealership so was looking forward to long term marine service. Once I spoke w Jen she said that because I had not purchased anything from them prior, she could not sell me a power pole or do business with me. I could not believe her response. She apologized that business was so good they didn't have time to assist me. Don't have to tell me twice you don't want my biz. I shared this with my neighbor and he goes oh ya they're a**holes. I bought a brand new Robalo elsewhere and they wouldn't service it. Heads up if you choose to spend money there. I guess when business is so good you can turn away whomever you want. Np tho, went to Suncoast Marine and got the best service I could've asked for. Better price and 1 day turnaround. My husband and I bought a Chaparral boat from Indian Springs last October. We loved the boat and everyone in the office was extremely nice. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable, you don't have to call to ask for the service department as anyone there can help troubleshoot what is wrong. Anytime you call they want to know who you are as they remember their customers. I absolutely recommend anyone buying a boat from this Marina as they made the process very smooth and painless! They were very patient with us as we wanted to make sure we were making the right choice but they never seemed frustrated and helped in anyway they could! read more

Purchased a Robalo 222 EX after studying a number of boats. Went in on a Saturday and Jenn walked us through the 2 models we liked. She knows boats as well as anyone and also knows what you will want on the boat. Bought one that they had coming in and it is perfect. I would have skipped a few of the options I wound up getting just to save a few bucks and it would have been a HUGE mistake. Family owned, trustworthy and extremely helpful at every turn. Don't keep your boat here! It's a very nice marina, but the family that runs it are mean-spirited people who are out to take advantage of you. They'll be nice to you at first to get you hooked into a contract, but after that you are dirt to them. They also treat their employees like garbage which is hard to watch. Watch this place. They appear OK when they want to sell you a boat. Prior to actually buying about a week later I called to "test" their customer service/department. I like to do this with major purchase as it shows if they stand behind their stuff with decent service. I I wanted to pose to them a out of warranty typical service/parts question. Boy did things change and they lost a big sale! A younger girl answered and I asked for the service department----dead silence....she sounded confused and like I was asking for something unusual. She asks my name, OK strange to but but oh well. She puts me on hold for a minute and what I'm guessing is a much older lady gets on the phone and barks "CAN I HELP YOU". Almost startled I say yes I have a service question and she says "WHAT IS YOUR NAME"....OK I already gave it once but give it again (thinking you also need my SSN to transfer me to service). She then literally grill me about what I want. I politely ask her if she works in service (which I know she doesn't) and she says tell me the problem so I can get someone. So I receit the "problem" and she says they'll all busy. She asks me if I bought the "part" their and I fib yes because if I said no I'm pretty sure she would have hung up on me right there. I say OK can I call back, she says AGAIN barks whats you name and I'll have someone call you. END OF STORY NO CALL. CONGRATS OLD LADY YOU COST THE BUSINESS A $65k SALE WITH YOUR SH*TTY ATTITUDE and failed miserably. Use the dealer in Ft Myers, they passed the above test and are 100% friendly. They got my hard earned cash you don't deserve. read more

I called Indian Spring Marina to order parts for my Chaparral boat as they are the local Chaparral dealer. I told the person I spoke with that I needed the parts in about a week for some work I was having done. She took my number and told me someone would call me back. No return call so I called back a few days later. The second lady I spoke to told me that I did not get a call back because someone had called in sick and they had "bigger fish to fry". Really? She then proceeded to tell me it was that time of the year and they were very busy. Again..Really? I asked her if what she meant was that it was that time of year where it was too busy to take care of a customer? She told me she would take my number again and "try" to have someone call me. At that point I realized that this place was clueless as to how to handle a customer. I told her I would take my business elsewhere and hung up. I am planning on replacing my Chaparral boat in the next year with a new one, however I will go to Tampa or Orlando to find a dealer who acts like they care about a customer. read more
