She is very stubborn and didn't want to do the required 3 hours of therapy/day. The therapists were unfailingly polite and professional, but would not take no for an answer. Despite herself, she progressed very well. I am sure that she improved more here than she would have anywhere else in this part of Florida. And the food is great, too! Case manager Tina was very helpful, and always kept me in the loop regarding the plan of action and her progress. My only complaint? They are a short-term rehab facility. Their average stay is 10-12 days. My mother has definitely improved, but she had basically no mobility when she arrived and will definitely need more therapy before she's ready to go back to her home by herself. So we are looking for another short term assisted living or skilled nursing facility so that she can make enough progress to go home. I really wish she could stay here for another 2 weeks with her excellent team, but they won't change their policy. I am sure that wherever she ends up won't be half as nice as Encompass!

The care at Encompass from the nursing staff was prompt and very caring towards my husband. He fractured his pelvis and hip and required a lot of assistance at first. The PT department quickly showed him how to navigate his injury and become mobile again! Can't say enough about their expertise! All call lights were promptly answered by any team member who was walking by and this was incredible! The food was also good which pleased my husband as well. However, Lorena in case management is a GEM! Things kind of got confusing as we were ready to leave as none of the main items we needed at home (bedside commode, wheelchair) were ordered for us. However, Lorena (not our original case manager) stepped in and solved the problem efficiently within 24 hours. She is the true epitome of a team player and if I owned a business I would hire her in a minute!!! Thank you Lorena for turning a disaster into a WIN for Encompass and us!!

I had STAT orders for two tests and only got results for one. When I asked why, I was told they can only do one same-day and have to send the other out. When I asked why I wasn't informed of that when I came in with orders that clearly stated up top in red that we needed same day results, she said "you didn't ask." So apparently you need to clarify if they're capable of following your doctors orders. They still charged me for the test even though I didn't get the results I needed. Definitely drive to Jupiter if you need anything and avoid this place at all costs!

Lot rent goes up every single year. Lot rent+mortgage+taxes+repairs (to keep up with)+hurricane, sinkhole and flood insurance equals a bunch going out. You are responsible for water leaks which includes the yard right up to the actual meter. Their water shut off valve didn't work when I had plumbing work done. When I called to get them to fix the problem, I was told that since I already had a plumber there to get him to fix it. No, they weren't paying to fix it, they wanted me to pay. Pool has been down for a long time. No cool dip during the hot summer months. Landscapers are ridiculous. If they do mow and edge the mess is on the trailer, your car, outdoor furniture and your driveway. Flying rocks are not a rarity. Roads are a laugh and the security of a gated community is non-existent. The problems have been going on for years! We even protested and had media reporting. While most of the neighbors were nice, things were not changing for the better. I did the same thing many of my previous neighbors did... gave the mobile home away. I wanted out from under the constant lot fees and less than professional management. Paying large lot fees and getting nothing in return wasn't working for me. Read the reviews here. We are all saying the same thing. Life as a senior should not be filled with stress.

June 2022 - My sister and I are very disappointed about how our father was treated. He wanted to…read moremove in in Sept of 2022 and we were upfront with the management that he was very ill and might not be able to move in at all much less by the end of Sept. They gave us the clear impression that the monies he had sent as a deposit that they were holding would be refunded if he could not move down. He became very ill and entered hospice and when we notified Regency in early Oct. to say he was not going to move down they refused to refund his money. They even suggested that we move him down to Florida to die there! We have reached out to the Recency people including the owner Jason Frandsen and have not even gotten a response from them. Feel very taken advantage of!! Update as of 8/4. After my review, the owner Jason Frandsen reached out to me to apologize and said he was going to see to getting us a refund on the $5000.00 community fee and the rent my dad paid upfront for Oct and never moved into. That was over 6 weeks ago and still nothing!!! This man does not seem to care about his reputation.
