Shout out to Cassie, Rosie and Joey with Valet who remembered Bailey's name immediately. We were offered champagne at check in and given a nice map of the grounds. The resort itself is a little on the older side but all the amenities are still well kept. With my IHG status, we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and some sweets. The room was clean and had a huge dining room and kitchen area. It had all the essentials for a homey and comfortable stay. We loved that there were dog treats and little gift pouches in the reception area. The pool area is big and had pleasant lounge chairs. The gym is missing a trendmill, there are bikes for cardio but not great options. The restaurant we had breakfast at was pretty good. The chicken and waffles was amazing and the bagel sandwich was delicious.

My professional instructor, Oleg Dimitrov, is talented, creative, patient beyond measure, dedicated, focused ... and a lot of fun. For the past three years, I have been participating in ballroom dance competitions throughout the state, which has elevated my dancing to a whole new level. Thank you, Oleg! I enjoy going to the studio's Saturday night social dance parties. Asya and Anya create a full buffet for dinner each week (first they are dancers and second excellent chefs!). And then we dance. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience an elegant party focused on dancing. It's a perfect place for dancers of all levels -- beginners to experienced. Group lessons, private lessons, practice sessions, Saturday night socials, field trips to competitions, showcases ... It's all at Royal Ballroom Dance Studio in Vero Beach. After seeing the photos and being the only place with prices online, we called and they were able to meet us and show us the grounds the same day. First thing is first; not only does Vicki Green have a perfect name for her job but she also a perfect personality and love for what she does. Just walking around the garden with her and listening to her, we knew that she would be the perfect person to help us. Vicki helped us from start till literally the moment we got into our car, married. She helped with color ideas, made all the bouquets, boutonnières and corsages. She was there for the rehearsal and the day of. Helped with the music, escorting people to the bathroom and making sure people weren't walking into the bridal suite before I was ready. After the wedding she helped with making sure we had the best locations for photos. My day was stress free because of her. I honestly would not change a thing about that day. If you're on the fence, go and ask for Vicki! It was an hour away from our home, and I would have driven 2 hours.

From the moment you walk past that fierce lion sculpture guarding the entrance, you already feel like you're stepping into something bold and inspiring. Inside, the "French Moderns" exhibit totally pulled me in. We're talking Monet, Matisse, Degas, Cézanne--all the greats flexing their brushstrokes. I loved seeing the timeline from 1850 to 1950, watching styles shift like gears in a Tour de France sprint. That Robert Delaunay garden scene? Looked like brunch with vibes. Shoutout to the Rodin sculptures--especially the marble one that looked like a dream trying to escape a rock. Dude's work is raw, real, and somehow emotional without saying a word. There were some wild surprises too. Like a hyper-detailed, slightly spooky modern portrait that made me feel like I was being watched by a ghost who shops at Hot Topic. And a worn-out baseball cap that had more character than some people I know. Bonus: The staff kept things flowing, it wasn't overly crowded, and there's plenty of space to walk and soak it all in without bumping elbows.
