I have always loved getting food from India today and have always recommended it to family and friends. Last night I ordered a large order when we had family staying, on my first mouthful I felt a large crack. When I looked into what had happened I found a stone and half my tooth in the mouthful I had taken. I immediately called India today and made it clear that I didn't want to do any harm to their reputation, I just wanted a refund on a meal that had been ruined for myself and my family. The man I spoke to was very polite but insisted (after three phone calls) that he could at best offer some discount on my next meal and a refund of £5 to cover the cost of that one curry. We had spent nearly £60 and I do not feel this is recompense for my tooth. I would have easily spent £60 on future visits over the next couple of months had they just been considerate enough to take me seriously. Instead I was made to feel difficult.
