This place is kind of elegant but not fancy enough to make anyone uncomfortable. The desserts below the front counter in the glass look delicious. The menu screen is easy to read. The prices are affordable. I decided to try the vegetarian chickpea with cheese paneer Roti Wrap. I found it of good quality and I am happy I decided on this choice. It tasted more like chickpea and the paneer cheese was there but it did not overpower the chickpea sauce. It stayed hidden a bit. The bread substance wrap and the sauce that comes with it is yummy-delectable! Worst experience picking up take out food in my life....very very difficult time placing my order because the person on the phone doezbt speak english at all. I confirmed what I wanted to order and when I went to pick it I asked if there was the extra sauces I ordered...she THEN EXTRA CHARGED ME FOR TAMRIND AND HOTSAUCE BECSUSE SHE SAID SHE FORGOT TO CHARGE ME FOR THEM. I happily paid TWICE for it and when I got home she didnt even put ANY the extra stuff I paid for in the bag. When i called about she argued with me that I didn't order the extra sauces after she double charged me for them??? What the hell kind of service is that??? They didnt offer any solution except to call me a liar!!!! I paid with debit so I have my receipt to prove what I paid for.... Went on a Friday evening before a Moose game at the MTS Centre. We expected it to be quite busy, and it was. However, we were still seated promptly and had waters on the table without having to ask, and a few minuets later our draft showed up. We both went with the buffet, $20.00. I had a little of everything, all of which was pretty good. I know that's not much help, but hey, it's a buffet so if you like Indian food you should find something you like. If you don't have a monster appetite, I'd suggest maybe going for a cheaper option off the menu. All in all, it was a good experience. We we're in and out on a Friday before the game, and maybe that's what you would want to consider if you're thinking about dining here. read more

I too prefer to order off the menu, even though the buffet is a good deal. Their take out samosas are a decent deal, so nice to take home a dozen for the weekend to snack on. The staff are friendly; appears to be family run for the most part. I noticed a lot of regular customers come in for pickup of larger orders when I'm in on Fridays. I was a little disappointed to see my patronizing this restaurant supports a Hummer displaying the restaurants name and log on it though. It's a small thing, but bothers me none the less. read more

I had the open buffet there, which was rather affordable at $13.99, but I soon found out why. The food was not only less than spectacular (especially since $13.99 isn't dirt-cheap), and was full of MSG as I was barely able to finish a plate and a half. This was the least of my troubles though, because I was barely able to make it home following my dinner from the food poisoning that followed. The food must have been at the very least a few days old. I'm not sure what the condition of their other food is, but I would highly advise against the buffet. read more

While I've experienced decent dishes in the past, last night's take out had many of our party sick with digestive problems. A call to the restaurant immediately after the Butter Chicken was found to be rancid was met with 'I'm sorry' and 'We hope your next visit will be better'. After we got sick (some of us had mixed the dishes and spice covered the smell) I called to let them know this had happened and got an argument. For three dishes our bill was over $50. Never go back. Never! Just a heads up to the restaurant - When someone calls and says they feel the food is suspect - GET THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER AND FOLLOW UP. Two calls to the restaurant and no one ever asked. Shows they really don't care. Health Department needs to help these guys with quality. read more

This place is pretty good and the buffet is very reasonably priced, but I found many of the dishes to be less flavourful than at other Indian buffets in the city. Usually chana masala is one of my favourites but it managed to be both spicy and bland. There was a curry, maybe beef? that was really tasty. I like the decor a lot, very nice and modern and the service was decent. It wouldn't be my first choice for Indian buffet in the city, but they're affordable and centrally located, which means I will probably go back. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars!! Called to do an order for delivery, and they were rude- put me on hold twice, and then hung up without a work once I gave my information. Called back to get a $$ total and a delivery time, and they wanted to call me back in 20 minutes because they were helping someone else. I said, No that is not okay, and she continued to say she would have to call me back. I then cancelled my order. 5 minutes later, I received a phone call with a woman trying to give me a total, and delivery time, and it took 10 minutes for her to understand that we wanted to CANCEL our order. Employee even did vacuum in front of us instead of asking anything she started doing vacuum in the restaurant. Even the sweet was hard as a rock.
