they have always provided great food and service every time we order. The naan and curries are amazing.

2nd visit. 2nd five star rating. I don't get it though. Fix up the outside...paint it do some curb appeal and you'll bring on more people. Everyone I mention the place to the response is "Come on man...that place?" "Yes...the place is the best Indian food I have eaten (haven't been to India) but it destroyed Las Vegas...Washington DC...New York....and half the price to boot" I dunno maybe don't fix it up and keep the prices low. Anyways... Food 5 stars in taste. Price 5 stars...50 dollars for couples and you're stuffed. Service 4.5 depends on who you get...last time was a 5. Ambience low 4 (thinking this place was an old IHOP or Denny's, maybe a Sizzler...already put in review). Great job though guys!!! Be back again in couple weeks. read more

Food was amazing, service was quick and great, they were always refilling the water, and the atmosphere was quiet and nice. I got the butter chicken and garlic naan and I would definitely order it again. No complaints. read more

This place was nothing less than a 10/10 food was amazing and you get a big portion. You clean your plate you'll need a nap after. The service was great too, to the little things of having a cloth napkin instead of cheap tissue thickness. When filling our waters spilt a bit but nothing that would be a concern just a slight spill he came back and cleaned it off for a few drops of water. The samosa was amazing as well the sauces were two contrasts paired amazing and the goat curry I got was many different pieces of goat with bones so I got marrow and some fatty pieces and they were TENDER. Staff super friendly, always checked on us too. Will absolutely be the go to spot from now on when I visit Green Bay. The interior was also clean and comfy, yellow lights made this place really good atmosphere. read more

Very solid Indian food. Excellent garlic naan, rich, delicious butter chicken and lovely vegetable somosas. Just what I needed after a long day of travel for work. I was worried about getting Indian food in the upper Midwest but was totally wrong. I got carryout, so I can't comment on the atmosphere or vibe, but they were very friendly. read more

Not the best Indian food I've had in the area, but not the worst! Prices were reasonable and the food was good. I ordered through pickup so I'm not sure how their dine in service is. I ordered the Shahi Paneer, Pakoda, and Garlic Naan. The Shahi Paneer had a different texture than I'm used to, seems like their version is not strained (a little grainy/chunky), the Pakoda were good as well, lots of batter around the veggies. The Garlic Naan had big pieces of which I loved. Definitely recommend this place in a pinch! read more

Love the food; perfect spices, medium level spicy is great! Waiter checked on us because I didn't eat much and was worried but it was all great! I order Butter chicken every time I'm here. Tried my son's Saag and I'll get that next time. read more

Although we have moved, we still make it a point to stop in and eat when we are able to do so. We tried the appetizer, samosa chaat, which was new to us. Amazing taste! I couldn't believe how flavorful this dish was. The combination was very refreshing and delicious, revitalizing even. We then ordered our own dishes and sampled from each other. We also tried medium heat which turned out to be really good, adding to our experience. The restaurant was decorated to celebrate Valentine's Day and it was quite lovely. The gentlemen here were, as always, very kind and inviting. While we dined, I listened to them talk to customers and I was touched by how much care is put into each conversation. The sincerity of the men here is also what makes this a great restaurant. They get to know their customers, they share with them in their experience of top quality, handcrafted dishes. We left warm in the belly and in our hearts yet again. Thanks gentlemen! And blessings to you as well read more

Love love love India bhavan, great portion sizes for a fair price. The chicken tikka masala is delicious, and the garlic naan is crazy good. Have been here a few times now, and will continue to eat here! read more

Food and service were very good. It was a cold, snowy night and we felt welcome and well fed.

100/10 this is the best restaurant on earth. michelin star restaurants wish they tasted 2% as good. i dream of india bhavan. i live in michigan and plan trips to green bay for this restaurant. they are highly economical, have the best food on the motherfucking planet, amazing ambience, and always remember my family of seven's varying allergies and spice level preferences. they are generous with outstanding service. their mango lassi is to. die. for. i would give both of them my kidneys if it meant they could continue blessing peoples hearts and stomachs. their lamb vindaloo is quite literally my favorite food on the planet, i will ask people what their favorite restaurant is just so i can talk about it when i'm craving it. this is not a paid ad, i just really love them and i hope their business is forever prosperous so i can continue to return and enjoy their gifts. read more

I LOVE THIs PLACE! Every time I travel to Wisconsin, I have to go here. Great for a date night and great and flavorful food. The service is attentive and it's fun to watch them remember the complex orders without writing them down. The food is fresh. The gravy's are done perfectly. When you say medium to Mild spice, they get it. If anything is not to your liking they will go out of their way to make it right. A jewel of a restaurant. read more

Having lived in LA over 30 years, I know and love good Indian cuisine. India Bhavan's dishes were very disappointing. Veg biryani rice had too many pieces of raw spice ingredients to count (star anise, large leaves, large, hard chunks of something--cinnamon?). All should all have been removed before serving. Onion kulcha had so many onions it was distasteful, I couldn't eat it. Raita was good. Unfortunately, both the above ruined my experience. Good Ingredients. Bad execution. read more

I love the levels of spices with this food. Went here for a double date and they had the best samosas ever with the amazing mint sauce plus the naan is good to soak up the curry. Definitely my favorite Indian food. read more

India Bhavan was probably the best food I had in Green Bay during my stay. Fair pricing, nice staff, and great food. The inside was average, nothing remarkable, but the food was excellent. Butter chicken (medium spicy) was the perfect level of spice. It was rich, with deep flavors. It paired very well with the garlic naan, which was also top notch. They did however, forget my mango lassi, but I was too far away to bother calling them and coming back. So, that was a real bummer. It would have been a 5 star experience if they hadn't charged me for the mango lassi and forgotten to give it to me. read more

Affordable and tasty! I was here with some coworkers on a business trip and we ended up visiting this place after a local coworker's recommendation, and it was absolutely perfect! We ordered quite a few different types of curries ranging from chicken tikka masala to butter chicken curry to the biryani, etc. and more. Granted I am not nearly as well-versed with Indian cuisine, but since we ordered many different dishes, we tried a bit of each others' dishes, and everything was a hit! Eventually, we got the mango ice cream as dessert and that was delicious as well! I have not tried that many places in Green Bay, but to me this one is one that must be visited when in town! read more

We are from Milwaukee, and travel 1.5 hours to our favorite Restaurant, India Bhavan. Great Food and very personal service, when they aren't too busy to spend time with us. We haven't had a dish that disappointed us, and even the fish fry has a special twist that is so nice. They suggested and showed how to eat chilies with the food to enhance the flavor(incredible, but not for the inexperienced chili eater). Great experience and recommend it highly. read more

Well the food was good but the service was lacking the server we received was not very interested in being helpful the server at the table behind us was terrific wish we had gotten him i told the guy we had never eaten here or this type of food and he just ‍ so not helpful I'll try it again but only because the food was pretty good and really wish they'd clean the menus "filthy " read more

Love Indian food but this was just not great. Rogan Josh was made w vindalo sauce with very little lamb in it. Same thing w curry chicken. Hardly any chicken just a container of sauce. Fritters were small lumps of burnt dough hunks without filling. Wouldn't order again read more

when they say this place is underrated... THEY MEAN IT! The staff... SO NICE! People of kinds of different backgrounds. They checked in on us a couple times and in the right amount of time in between. We didn't feel rushed and we didn't feel like we had to wait forever to get someone attention if we needed anything. And the place had a good amount of people too so it's not like they weren't busy with others as well. Right when you walk in you see it looks nice, it's warm, and the smells take over and it's so nice! We got seated pretty quickly and got served water right away. If you tell them it's your first time there they tell you the recommended and most popular for first timers which we got and then we got some other things we wanted to try as well. They gave a chip like appetizer with two sauces one green and one brown. The green one was like mint with a little bit of spice and a hint of pickle as an after taste. It was pretty interesting. The second sauce was sweet with an underlining taste of meat even though there was no meat in it. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masada (which was recommended) and we got it mildly spicy. It was SO good. It tasted like pumpkin or some sort of sweet cinnamon and gave me the feeling of Thanksgiving dinner. It was by far our FAVORITE dish that we ordered. It was not that spicy which is good for us but if you want spicy I would order the chicken curry. The chicken curry was spicy even though we got it mild. We ordered a side of bread which was also recommended to do and they have many flavors to choose from. We went with Garlic which tasted amazing by itself but if you dip it in the curry it is a flavor overload, so we recommend getting plain bread to dip in the curry. It was soft and thick and really good though. Like I said this place is very underrated and a hidden gem since you would never really look at it passing by. It's also just off the highway so it's a bit off to the side, however I HIGHLY recommend this place if you live or are visiting Wisconsin! read more

Traveling through the area and ended up staying at a hotel nearby. We were very very happy with this experience. Ordered ahead and picked up to go. Food was ready at the requested time and was delicious. I'm glad we over ordered because tonight we get to eat leftovers. The only two things that reduced the rating was the samosa dough wasn't very "light and flaky" and was salty enough that we threw them away and the naan was not light and crispy but more dense and chewy. That being said, definitely worth a stop, even if you go out of your way for it. read more

I travel most weeks of the year and I'm always looking for variety with my meal choices. Finding this in place in Green Bay Wisconsin was a huge surprise. I've come twice now and the meals I've ordered have been excellent. They make the Naan in house which is extremely rare. (It's delicious as well). If you're a local order something besides Tikka Masala or butter chicken and you might be surprised in a good way. read more

Mediocre at best. I've had much better Indian. Appetizers were actually bad. Fried greasy jalapeños. Chicken appetizer was poor. Entree was too hot. read more

Moving to Green Bay, I am SO HAPPY to find a good Indian spot! We probably eat here at least once a month and stick to our favorites (butter chicken, shahi paneer, and garlic naan). Everything is always so good. The garlic naan is never chewy and always soft--even by the time we get it home! The flavors and spice are definitely there, but are held without sacrificing taste if you ask for mild. We haven't ever dined in, but it is a pretty large space with a bar, so we will definitely check it out sometime. read more

The food is always wonderful and the staff delivers great hospitality. Love this place.

We went last night-- AGAIN-- and as always they delivered not only an amazing meal but also an amazing dining experience and atmosphere. The owner is such a neat guy, always stops by to talk for a few minutes (so happy and positive!) and we just enjoy him so much. I ordered the mix grill which was perfection on a plate but then I missed my curry so we will have to head back soon... boyfriend got the butter chicken which was also delicious. Sesame naan this time instead of coconut (good to try new things!) and EVERY naan has been amazing. He also got the mango smoothie, which I nearly ripped from his fingers, I have never had any smoothie so creamy and delicious!! read more
