I was hired by Ron G. at Forester Media, and from the start it was a grueling experience. Being in…read moresales for over 15 years, I had much to offer this company. I re-located with no expenses paid from Woodland Hills. Regardless of this, I continued to think positive and hoped for resolve. The training was next to nothing, so I had to be a self-starter. I was given an extremely hard task of starting from the bottom, as much of the territory was taken by other salespeople who did not have the skills I had. It was very political in this company, and my skills were not appreciated. I worked long and hard hours, from 7 a.m. in the morning, due to many sales being on the East Coast. There were no leads, although many of the 'Senior Salespeople' had them. I remember walking into an office that seemed like it was from Home and Gardens. Yet, my little open cubicle was given to me, so that everyone could hear my pitch. I was very good in this job, although the training I am rating a "0". Finally, after making thousands of phone calls, I still was asked to do a task that noone could do before. I was let go due to Ron leaving the company, and he said he could not train me any longer. He felt I didn't have the smarts to do this job. It's very funny, because at my current job I make much more, and am given the sales support I need. This place is a joke, please do not work at this company or you will be sadly disappointed!
