This is one of the nicest semi private courses in a 20 miles radius of downtown Richmond. Tee boxes are great, stripped fairways, what seems to be anti divot greens which have been pristine at my last two outings. The course has some great elevation change through out it. Which makes it challenging, but it's not that bad. Pro shop is super nice, and the service has always been excellent. Today they had a range officer cruising the course making sure pace of play was good. Nice fellow named Henry. Range officer wasn't there the first time I played, but didn't matter. Drink cart came around at least 4 times. There wasn't a drink cart making the rounds last time we went though. There's a grass range, a huge putting green, and a chipping green all in the same area. Their carts are a little slow. That's my only single complaint, but I don't blame them. There's some steep hills around the course and I could see how a fast cart might cause problems. Definitely returning customer.

Not a bad lie on the course with generous size greens but very fast that roll true. A "must play" course if you know a member or someone that can get you on. My boyfriend and I arrived and when you first walk in it looks honestly like the name, a small hotel. When we checked in the wait was 30 minutes which wasn't a problem since they had an area you could order food and drinks. While we were waiting we ordered two cocktails and a quick appetizer which was the sausage bites. They give you a pretty good amount. Not too filling but just enough to have something in your stomach. The drinks were good too. After we sat for about 25 minutes it was our time to golf. You can bring your drinks with you while you golf as well. The atmosphere was such a chill vibe, all the holes had a different area and it was really like you were in an old hotel. My boyfriend and I had a blast and we couldn't recommend this place enough for a date night.

Got there 45 minutes early for the brunch first that was included in the package. They do not accept reservations except for the weekend brunch. The front desk staff were nice. Despite having a reservation, we waited for a long time before we got seated. When we did, our orders took a long time to be served too. Food was alright. The Accompanied Scrambled Eggs Isle of Skye had smoked salmon, creme fraiche, and herbs. The eggs were cooked fine but the meal was lacking flavor. The classic French toast served with bacon and maple syrup was alright. Shakshuka was alright as well. Food-wise, it's 4/5. Nothing special. Service is also 4/5. The staff were nice but service was super slow. Despite these, we had fun playing mini golf. The course was not as complicated as other ones.
