She received an "unfavorable report" from another…read moreattorney...regarding unprofessionalism and lies...and concerning comments from agent 2, Social Services and Sheriffs...questionable actions regarding social security and funds received under false statements...lies and more lies...a special needs trust she created without the parent's knowledge, appointing a "special needs trustee/beneficiary" who is unknown and more than likely not in the best interest of the child...not to mention the amount she has taken...as another attorney stated "for what"... the child, is not benefitting from their assets and the trust is "Irrevocable"...the child, my daughter is suffering as a result...dirty actions...as other professionals have acknowledged. Has done nothing in the best interest of the child, however, has focused negative comments and actions against the one person that has advocated for the child, a retired 20 year military veteran, with...an impressive career to include two Pentagon tours and two NATO tours and an assignment to the White House...Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal...etc., etc...etc...advocated for over a decade for my child's education, which was denied, acknowledged by the other liar...attorney...I never mistreated my child...as acknowledged by many professionals to include the attorney that submitted the unfavorable report on lisa brown and the other attorney. He knowledge of the health care community in the Richland/Lexington County Area is extensive dare I say exhaustive on all levels. From doctors, to hospitals, different care facilities and all the rules and regulations that over see those facilities. The CEO, Taylor Miller, he too is amazing- he has a clear understanding of the day to day operations of his company of his employee's job descriptions and daily challenges within that job, but also sees the client side, very well. Taylor is reachable, easy to work with agreeable and easy to talk to. Senior Matters also manages caregivers if that service is needed, pricing is very competitive. We found the service to be excellent. The caregivers are compassionate, truly concerned for the patient's well being but also respectful of the patient's wishes (within doctors limits) and of the patient's dignity, self worth and self motivation. Senior Matters doesn't walk on water, they aren't God, but if someone needs health care case management and caregivers, Senior Matters IS the only way to go! I joined AIKEN SENIOR LIFE hoping to find a SOCIAL outlet 10 YEARS LIVING DOWN SOUTH WHEN I WALKED INTO AIKEN SENIOR LIFE, I THOUGHT I FOUND MY "NICHE" I LOVED IT THERE. my home situation is not good. This forced me to cancel most of the groups that I had signed up for and I only attended to groups consistently. my safety was at risk due to criminal neighbors. This lead to a misunderstanding with a group leader over a text message. Group leader, kathryn isaac refused to accept my apology. most recently attended a BUS TRIP with AIKEN SENIOR LIFE to AIKEN MUSEUMS. of the free museums I went to. I only had a problem in one museum I do not feel I was treated properly by the Director/ tour leader in this museum. two days after this trip on Friday afternoon after 4 PM, I received a call from Aimee Hanna Executive Director at Aiken Senior Life Services. prior to her calling, I didn't know who the Director was Ms. Hanna proceeded to yell at me about the museum incident. I was not allowed to speak. I tried to tell her that I have Asperger syndrome she would not allow me to get a word in edgewise. I was then told I AM PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM AIKEN SENIOR LIFE Ms. Hanna spoke of the incident at the museum; did not mention the misunderstanding regarding the text message she then LIED -- saying that "you have been a problem in every single group that you attended; have been disruptive, and I have received multiple complaints" THIS STATEMENT IS 1000% FALSE! I only attended two groups consistently throughout never had a problem in any of the groups, the group members and the group leaders excepted me fully. The only problem was the misunderstanding of the text message and I did apologize. However, she would not accept my apology and the problem at the museum. Combined this would not warrant being PERMANENTLY BEING BANNED FROM AIKEN SENIOR LIFE My limitations and differences as an adult with Asperger syndrome are no more severe or different than other seniors, who attend that have dementia or Alzheimer's disease Ms. Issac used my text message for purposes of which it was not intended. This led to the misunderstanding. She refused to accept my apology. All groups at AIKEN SENIOR LIFE are led by volunteers. Ms. Issac is one of the few professional volunteers. She is a retired RN. It would be detrimental to AIKEN SENIOR LIFE to lose a professional volunteer such as Ms. Issac, but I AM DISPENSABLE The decision by Ms. Hanna was prejudicial and discriminatory. I was never allowed to even try to explain anything. She was screaming at me throughout the call that she made to me. given that Ms. Hanna has absolutely no flexibility with an adult with Asperger syndrome that has limitations, it calls into question her flexibility and patience with seniors with Alzheimer's and other dementia's
