The generator they brought us had a faulty carbon dioxide sensor (we think) and failed about 20 times over the course of 4 hours. It had plenty of gas but continued cutting off at random times. This was a serious safety concern, as the inflatables kept collapsing on children, with a very real suffocation risk due to water on the water-slide. Children were terrified and some remained so through the event. We reached out about 10 times to Five Alarm Fun to tell them of the issue and to get a replacement generator, and they were unresponsive. Event was in June 2025. We have still been unable to contact them for a refund.

This is NOT the case with Hop on Pops, their items come clean and ready to go. Our items have always comes on time, if not extremely early. Our last rental was in May 2012 and the moonbounce came one day early (no extra charge) due to our party's schedule early the next morning.
