Wandering through the Villa Borghese gardens for 2 hours, there's no cafe, trattoria, or even a vending machine. 2 cranky pre-teens and 2 grouchy parents. I'm tempted to eat the purslane growing on the sidewalk.
Need. Coffee. Sustenance. Now.
Voila. We almost walked past Café Lembo. Friendly staff. Offered us iced water. Good cups of coffee. Delicious and nutritious, if not simple, sandwiches. Ahhh. Thank you, Café Lembo. We'll be back. If we wander stupidly hungry through the Villa again.
