Later, I added their irrigation system, which was quite expensive and difficult to install. Then, after a couple of years the exposed parts of the irrigation system dried out and broke. With the FarmDaddy, the irrigation parts are already installed internally, and the the valves and such are protected from sun damage. Connecting one box to the water faucet, then tying any subsequent boxes together by sections of garden hose is a breeze. In a month's time our first box is producing beautiful, healthy squash plants. I highly recommend the FarmDaddy!

It requires no electricity, just hook up to my garden hose or rain barrels and the consistent watering produces healthy and very fruitful plants. This nursery is growing on me. I've been occasionally going over the past two years, and every…read moretime I return to Focal Point, there are improvements. This nursery is family owned (husband and wife) and they are very helpful. Prices are comparable to other nurseries, except now they're having a good sale. I like Lukas nursery because it is close to home and the variety is good, however I'm liking Focal Point more because their inventory is increasing, their property is huge so there is lots of room to move about (unlike Lukas) and not feel like you're bumping into others, and their limitation on how much chemicals they can use on the plants because of the nursery's proximity to the St. Johns River. If you live in the Geneva, Chuluota, Oviedo, and close towns, check this place out.

5 Stars for my new favorite plant shop (inside a lawn & pest control shop)…read more You've probably heard of Oviedo Plants from the way they blew up on social media over the past couple of years, but this was the first time I had the chance to go there. I was surprised to see it was inside another shop, and that it didn't have its own Yelp page. The moment I walked in I was immediately blown away by the extraordinary, curated selection of plants. Though they may not have room for hundreds of plants, they make up for it in the curation. We're talking draw-dropping monsters albo's at first sight. Then you see the sale rack and you end up leaving with far more new plants than you imagined. The staff is next level, too. Rochelle helped us. Her sister is the owner, but she does much of the buying and curation. She was able to explain to us how to care for each plant, and it turned out we got there a day after she brought a bunch of new babies in. Timmy helped check us out and set us up with boxes so packing them in the car was a breeze. It felt like a family business and one that I'm more than happy to support. A few weeks later, the plants are thriving and I am thrilled to have found this little hidden gem. Do yourself a favor!
