When I don't want to go the Sta. Lucia's food court or fastfood staples like Jollibee but I also don't want to shell out money even for Kenny Roger's, one of my few remaining options is Inasalaing.
The food here is Filipino lutong bahay and they all come at very affordable price. No dish goes over PhP 150. But price of food aside, I like that Inasalaing always has at least one vegetable dish to pair with meat. Normally, however, the combination I pick is Chicken Inasal and Laing which is the specialty of this eating place as one can infer from its name.
I like that the chicken Inasalaing serves is never fatty but still remains delicious. As for the Laing, I could tell that the cook put generous portions of coconut milk, giving the dish a fine blend of sweet and spicy. I also have to commend Inasalaing for getting right what most restaurants serving Laing fail to do: giving the Laing a decent presentation. read more
