Go past that, however, and you're in an old-school world where the tradesman is there to help the customer and it genuinely pleased to do so. You can get pretty much and size, shape, colour or cut of glass from this little place and the prices are very very reasonable. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone.

They are professional and attentive to every detail and have a good relationship with the local solicitors. Dealing with the mid-end of the market, they are very busy - but always find the time to keep you updated and in the loop. The champagne and flowers when we moved in were a very nice touch.

They were late on the appointed day, and my husband wasn't at home. They invented a conversation that they had with him, as a result of which I accepted a much lower standard of work. They told me that he had asked them not to take the wood and foliage away, which was untrue. We have been left with a very messy garden, which will take up some time and extra money to clear up. I paid handsomely for this job, and they have refused to clear up their mess unless we pay even more. I am extremely disappointed.
