Everyone was asking us who are officiant was, and whether she was one of our aunts, because she came off like family so naturally. She made our ceremony seamless, personal, and funny. Scheduling the officiant was admittedly one of the more stressful parts of the planning. We were not doing it in a church, nor was there someone that both my husband and I were equally close to who we thought should play the role, so I worried about finding someone I did not know. But within the first phone call with Michelle, it felt like I had known her for years. She is warm, kind, supportive, and professional, and any couple would be lucky to have her. John has taken my photos before and I am amazed by his thoroughness, organization, creativity and passion for photography. After my first photo session I recommended him to all of my family and friends. He truly listens to what you want and exceeds all expectations. For our engagement photos we had tossed around the idea of taking our pug Oscar with us. John was fully onboard and loved the idea and suggested places to ensure that Oscar would not be overwhelmed by crowds but also would give us the fall backdrop that we were looking for. For our wedding John had Laurie Brandt as a partner to help capture the day. The photographs that John and Laurie captured are absolutely beautiful! There was a nice balance between formal as well as candid pictures. They captured every little detail, some of them that I did not even see myself! I highly recommend John for all your photography needs, you won't be sorry!
