Let me just get this out of the way: Kendall takes jaw-dropping, straight-up gorgeous photos. Not…read moreonly are they technically stunning; they capture fleeting moments - a small smile, a touch on the arm, a loving look - that are so hard to capture but so beautiful to see. Somehow she is everywhere at just the right time. On to the nitty gritty: From the first time Kendall answered my inquiry about an engagement photo session to the lovely packaged box of wedding prints and digital copies she mailed us three weeks(!) after the big day, she has been a consummate professional. If you're nervous about getting your pictures taken, Kendall will instantly put you at ease with her warmth and relaxed attitude. She excels at eliciting genuine smiles and laughter from people, and is even better at capturing those moments when they occur on the fly. Aside from Kendall's obvious talent, what impressed me the most was her generousity. She never makes you feel like you're on the clock. During our engagement photo session she spent several hours more with us than we were expecting, making sure we got all the shots we wanted and even venturing outside in 7-degree weather. At our wedding, she was on call from 10 in the morning to nearly midnight. I've never heard of any other photographer going to such lengths. What it all boils down to: I can't recommend Kendall enough! Book her. You won't regret it.

What do you want to pay for when you choose a wedding photographer? The cost is generally the same…read morewhere ever you go $2700-$3500 and up but usually not down. I guess what comes standard is the wedding party pics, bride and groom, family etc. The shots are usually done by a photographer that has shot the same photos for every customer over and over again. For an artist/photographer that type of repetitious drudgery is soul squashing. Which means your photos won't have much gusto to them. My wife picked Ryan after requesting to her uncle, a professional photographer, that she wanted someone to shoot "edgy candids" Ryan over delivered in every regard. He immersed himself into the characters of the day and shot great portraits of everyone at the wedding. He was humorus and just about everywhere shooting his stylistic pictures. After I posted a bunch of his shots pn facebook, we received a flood of compliments on his work. We ended up with nearly 1400 shots, a wedding photo album, the images on CD all within 3 weeks post-wedding. They had previsouly been posted on his website shortly after the wedding. I had never met Ryan before the wedding and neither had Alycia but he happily devoted his day (missing a big NHL game that he would of been paid more money to photograph). I can't recommend Ryan highly enough.

Two days after the wedding Jessica posted a 'sneak peak' on facebook, and only three weeks later we had the ENTIRE gallery - all 800+ photos! Your photographer is with you during your entire wedding day - make sure that is someone that is not only talented, but someone that makes you comfortable - that's Jessica. I do not like to be photographed, and I was nervous and anxious for a bit before the wedding. But as soon as she walked into the hotel suite for the getting ready photos - the anxiety disappeared. She is incredibly friendly, fun, and so talented. She knew exactly where to place everyone for portraits so that everyone was visible and in flattering positions. When a bridesmaid asked if they can throw autumn leaves on the bride and groom - Jessica made that happen, and those turned out to be my favorite pictures. Jessica's second photographer was also incredible - while I did not have the pleasure of speaking with her, my husband and groom's side said she was so nice, and those pictures are fantastic as well. While we will never plan a wedding again - you can be sure that our first phone call for newborn photos is JParsons Photography!
