For so long I dreamt of having pictures of our wedding that captured our love, our family, our friend, and that I felt beautiful in. The pictures that Melissa took far exceed every expectation that I had and then some! It started with a phone call and I immediately felt very comfortable with Melissa like I was talking to a friend I had known for years as I described our day and some of the personalities of our wedding guests. She assured me it wouldn't be a problem at all and she was absolutely right. From start to finish, Melissa was amazing at communicating with us and provided us with some suggestions that helped our day flow smoothly and ensured that we got all the pictures we wanted. The day of the wedding, Melissa fit right in with my family and friends, which made everyone very relaxed, and she went above and beyond to make things comfortable. She was also extremely flexible as we ran slightly behind schedule that day. I was also amazed with how quickly she sent us our pixie set. To say our pictures were breathtaking is an understatement! She truly captured our love in each picture and allowed us to relive our day through the pictures. I cried looking at some of the pictures because they were just so beautiful. My husband and I were married in Boston this past July and Addie came recommended by another photographer-- I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL. We had a pretty fantastic wedding, and a lot of things went well, but by far the best decision I made was reaching out to Addie and having her with us on our big day. From the moment we reached out Addie was incredible thorough, sending over a timeline and spreadsheet which immediately won me over. Her meticulous planning continued over the course of the next couple of months, up until wedding day. Addie came to my condo to get ready with the bridesmaids and her assistant went with the boys. Addie is so, so easy to be around and does a perfect job of speaking up and getting people to do what they need to do, and blending into the background during important moments like the ceremony. Prior to the photo shoot: I had some difficulty understanding the instructions provided by the high school as to the size (pixels) necessary for the yearbook. Warren went out of his way to contact both the high school and Jostens (yearbook) to get the specifics. This took the stress off of me since I had no idea what to ask (being unfamiliar with graphic design terms). During the photoshoot: The outside location at Green Hill Park, Worcester (they suggested) was perfect. We had a variety of shots with different shirts and scenery. The shots portrayed my son's personality very well. After the photoshoot: Not being computer savvy, I was having difficulty selecting photos from the software program. I called Warren and he took me through the process, step by step. Again, easing my frustration. The disc that he made for the school's use was hand delivered to me and professionally labeled with the instructions right on the disc. My photos arrived in a carefully wrapped and boxed package within 3 days of me placing my order. I was pleasantly surprised with such quick delivery. The photos are of high quality and reasonably priced. Whether it be a wedding, senior pictures, family photos, baby pictures, etc...I would highly recommend Lavallee Photography.
