Well, almost exactly 5 years later, Jamie did the photography at my wedding as well, and I couldn't be happier that I hired him! We started by meeting with Jamie in his studio in Framingham, where he won my (now) husband over by offering him a Sam Adams while we watched a slideshow of his work. He gave us an information packet with his various packages and rates, and we went home and picked one and officially hired him the next day. We opted to add an engagement session to our package, since it was reasonably priced and we thought the practice would be good, since we're not used to having hundreds of pictures taken of us. I knew we picked the right man for the job when, at the end of our e-session, my (then) fiance said "That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." I know that doesn't sound like much of a compliment, but coming from a guy with the attention span of a 5 year-old, that's a pretty good compliment after spending 2 hours having his picture taken! Jamie kept it light, fun, and non-traditional, and he totally embraced our idea of incorporating our kayaks into the shoot. Leading up to the wedding, Jamie was very good about helping me plan our schedule for pictures, and made sure he knew about everything that was going to happen that day. He showed up early to scope out the venue for ideas, and then set to work shooting our amazing photos for the next 9 hours. He did such an amazing job that we're having a very hard time going through and picking our our favorites for the wedding album he is also putting together for us. Throughout our time working with Jamie, he kept a light, fun attitude, and I could tell he genuinely loves what he does. We couldn't be happier with the final product, and thanks to Jamie, we will be able to cherish these memories captured in time forever!

The only thing that outshines his personality is his photography. We first met Jamie in his studio in Framingham. He was super friendly, gave us very clear rates for his time, and was willing to deviate from his set packages if we needed more of his time before or after the wedding. After seeing his gallery of photos we were set. Jamie doesn't do boring pictures. He really does bring a unique eye to some really fun shots. And the man made me look like a model, there's nothing better than that on your wedding day! At the wedding Jamie showed up at the church on time and had already scoped out the layout of the church for all of the best places for shoots. He was all over the place getting different shots of the ladies and the men getting ready, but never intrusive. And some of the posed shoots we did were just fun. We took pictures in the church's basketball court, in a stairwell, at the bubbler, and later on top of washing machines-- as well as the normal posed pics on the church steps with the family. And by far our favorite pics are the ones in the interesting locals. They came out brilliantly, we get compliments on our photos all the time. And like I said: I look like a model. When the time came for my husband and I to pick out photos for our wedding album, Jamie was beyond patient in helping us pick the right ones. And when my mother and father were late in picking out their photos, Jamie was immediate with his replies to their questions. The follow up care was amazing seeing as how we already had paid him. We liked Jamie so much that we've been reccing him to friends for engagement photos and their own weddings. We've seen the work that he's done at friends' weddings and they are all just as happy as we were with Jamie.

As a professional wedding photographer, I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be for me to say…read more"yes" to OUR wedding photographer. Having known Chris since High School and having worked with him as an assistant for a wedding he photographed, I knew who he was, I knew his style and I knew his equipment. I was comfortable knowing all of the above, so my now husband, Justin and I went to meet him to discuss options to have him as our photographer. Before walking into the meeting, I had practically made my mind up already that he was who we would book, but I wanted Justin to meet him and I wanted to get those "warm fuzzies" from our conversation. After the meeting, we were thrilled to choose Chris to photograph our big day! First came our engagement shoot; like I said, I am also a photographer, but my goal was to act as though I had never held a camera in my life. Chris and his wife April took the reigns and helped Justin and I with the entire shoot from start to finish. When we saw the final product, we were over the moon!! With the engagement pictures out of the way, we certainly looked forward to what our photos would look like from our BIG day! Prior to our wedding day, Chris took the time to get every detail straight regarding wants/needs to ensure our wedding day was seamless. He showed up with a list on our wedding day of everything that we had discussed! During our ceremony and reception, Chris and his assistant were all over the place but never came across as invasive. In fact, at times I forgot they were there taking pictures (even when they were right in front of my face!). What an amazing time we had! Our wedding day came and went, but Chris is the one who will forever help us to cherish our "perfect" day in the form of his artwork. We were booking pretty last minute but we really wanted some good fall foliage in our photos, and Stephen was able to squeeze us in on a Friday morning and it was perfect. We booked a 1 hour session at Cider Hill Farms and ended up taking photos for an extra half hour with an outfit change and we had such a good time! Stephen was so friendly and relaxed during the shoot, and even though it is a very busy season, he was able to get us our gallery from Oct. 28 just under three weeks later. The gallery we received is absolutely stunning. The foliage and the lighting were perfect on the day of the shoot, but Stephen was really able to capture both, and colors in our photos are unbelievably beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for.
