Fantastic haircut, good atmosphere. There's a pool table, which means my haircut was free (your's might cost double...) Narrowly avoiding a 1 star review, due to the effect my sweet new fade is having on my life. It's darn near cost me my job and family, having to spend all day every day prying women off of me. These guys know how to cut hair. The shop felt clean, and very relaxed. I've been twice now and I walk out with a solid fade every time. I've tried many shops in this area and I can say that they're one of the only shops that can do a tight fade, in Chattanooga, right. FYI: The first time I went, I was not prepared to pay cash, which caused me to have to run to an ATM, etc.. Unless they've changed recently, they only take cash. Highly recommend this shop! Honestly I just moved to Chattanooga and looking for a new barbershop but this one is not it I asked the gentleman to give me a bald smooth head And he proceeded to tell me OK $20 when he was done after like five minutes I still had hair on my head and I Sir I asked for a bold smooth head!!! And he said "Oh that's what you wanted?" It's another $5.00 Because I have to use an electric razor but he showed me the pricing and it had nothing on there about an extra five dollars to use an electric razor and after the cut I still had spots of hair on my head so I went down the street and got it finished needless to say that was my first and last time going to in the Kut read more

I went here because of the great reviews. I looked on their site, which said "Walk ins" welcome. That was not the case at all. I walked in and no one there even said Hi or can I help you? I looked around for a sign in sheet and there was not one. So I sat down. There was one person in front of me and three people getting their hair cut. I sat for 20 minutes and still no one asked me anything or helped me. Two people got through with their cuts and paid. Immediately after the customers paid, two of the barbers left. Not one asked me anything. One barber came back and sat down and looked at his phone. I look at him but he doesn't look back. He's clearly ignoring me. After 35 minutes of waiting, one of the barbers ask the other one sitting down if he is helping anyone, he says no but he has a 3 o'clock appointment, the time was 2:30. So instead of helping me he sits there on his phone. I at this point am pissed. Another barber walks in, sits down on his phone and also ignores me. The other barber asks him if he is busy, response is " I have a 3 o'clock appointment." So the one barber who is attempting some contact says I can come back at 4 if I want. I say no and leave. So getting to the point, this is terrible customer service. I found out pretty quick, if you don't know the barbers, you don't matter. Clearly money and customers don't matter either. I do not recommend this place to anyone. If the owners read this, there is something that matters in business, it's called customer service. Please inform your employees of what customer service is and talking on the phone, cutting only their friends hair, and ignoring potential customers is bad for business. I will tell everyone I know to not go here. read more
