I have come off the river trip, and my nails needed to be done. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. The manicurist I got didn't understand how to do just regular paint and polish. She also broke one of my nails while cutting them. While the owner was very friendly, in the end, I think I would've been better off just doing my nails myself. read more

Sadly, this is the most inconsistent nail salons I've ever experienced. I just had a manicure and pedicure and nothing outside of my toe nails being trimmed and a decent leg massage, was done to my feet. The cuticles weren't pushed back or cleaned, nor were they trimmed. A base coat wasn't even applied and it was a polish that required one. Now I need a pedicure just to get an acceptable job done on my feet. It was a grand waste of money. Because I'm a local I want to give this salon the benefit of the doubt and as such, have returned over and over again. I'm tired of being disappointed. There are only 2 manicurists I'll see there from now on and if they aren't available, i'll book elsewhere. Somehow we need a better solution in Ketchum. read more

Wow, there is a lot of demand for nail appointments in the Hailey/Ketchum area over the Fourth of July weekend. And there are a lot of out of nail places out of business (we dropped by a couple that were completely cleared out). After opening up the phone book and calling all of the places (there weren't many Yelp reviews!), my friend and I finally got appointments at In 'n' Out Nails across the street from the Clarion Hotel. They were definitely working hard to make sure that they did a good job and that they were moving through their appointments at a fast pace. The woman who did my nails was really nice and chatty, and she did a thorough job cleaning up my cuticles. Included, I got a quickie foot massage and a scrub on my feet and my calves; I guess this was a bit of a mini-spa pedicure. The place was clean, and they also had a great selection of magazines (including the latest Us Weekly and People). $40 is a little more than I'm used to paying for a pedicure, but I realize that it's a vacation spot with lots of tourists, and I'm sure they pay a ton for rent. read more

They let me be creative with a reverse French tip and introduced us to a new gel tip instead of dipping powder (both of which I love but gel is light and real looking). So friendly too. I went in yesterday to get a dip manicure. I've gotten one every 3 weeks for the past 2.5 years, and this one was the worst one I've ever got. They had maybe 10 colors and the dip was incredibly thin. When I said something about it, the woman doing my nails said it was normal, so I listened and hesitantly hoped for the best. Less than 24 hours later the sides are chipping off and I was putting a reusable grocery bag on my shoulder and the dip on two of my fingers cracked all the way through. Very disappointed. I paid $65 for a dip mani because of how hard it makes my nails, but it was way over priced and the results were totally pointless. read more

I was so excited to treat myself to a pedicure. After reading some reviews I was optimistic to try this salon. The salon is a bit hard to find but located in a clean and beautiful space! I was greeted promptly and seated in a chair. The person came who was going to take care of me. She seemed timid but sweet. It was obvious this is new to her. However, in being new, the staff should have 1. Prepared her more 2. There were seasoned staff (Noah & another woman) on either side of us. They should have given her some input or guided her with experienced words. The pedicure was terrible. She was so afraid and it was so new to her, she barely touched my legs. She would pull one foot out of the water to touch a toe for a moment to put it back in. When she was pumicing the bottom of my foot, she was barely touching it, thus-my feet are not smooth or soft as they should be. The attempted massage was more uncomfortable as she was again so timid with touching another person she was barely putting any pressure, making it simply awkward for her to be holding my foot/leg. She worked very hard as she painted my nails...however went very slowly that there are lines visible where the polish dried and another swipe of the polish went on. Her mentors were right next to her, and both woman who were their clients were raving about their service. I am unable to do the same and incredibly disappointed to have spent the $40 I did. read more

She mentioned about how she felt pampered through both the manicure & pedicure. She recommended "Hui" as the best nail specialist ever. The place on overall is clean and the service is really relaxing and invigorating... The pedicure massage is to die for... and the nails are beautiful. What a delightful nail salon. I wasn't sure what to expect in this sleepy but cut town. It is very clean, organized, and everyone is very friendly. They were running a bit behind, and they kept apologizing. I ended up getting a shellac mani, she did a fantastic job! We are visiting from out of town and a good friend referred us here for pedicures. Hands down the BEST salon I've been to! Super friendly staff!! Awesome pedicure and just an overall A++ on everything. We visit Ketchum at least 2-3 times a year and we will always come back to this salon. Added note... a mom brought her 2 young children who started playing video games on their phones and the staff immediately had them silence their phones. He is open to your comments and did all that i asked him to do, from the filing , length and shape of my nails . I had a broken nail that i wanted to try and keep. Not a problem ! I've never given a one star review before. The one star is for Noah, specifically. The actual nail salon was good. The receptionist was friendly, lots of nail color choices and the place was very clean. Now, on to Noah. I chose him because of the reviews. They specifically said that he gives a great massage - my favorite part of a pedicure. 1. He didn't not massage me AT ALL. With one swipe on my legs and feet he put on lotion. That was a huge disappointment. 2. He used a metal utensil to get the dead skin off of my heel. He used it so long and with so much pressure that it literally took a layer off and created an open wound. That made walking/hiking painful for the next three days. 3. The nail polish itself was put on sloppily and unevenly. 4. He called me "boss lady" about 20 times in the 40 minutes I was there. How about asking me my name? It just felt weird and a bit disrespectful. So, maybe go but chose a different nail technician. read more

I have never been treated so rudely in a retail establishment in my life. I made an appointment for pedicures for me, my maid of honor and my mom on my wedding day and drove an hour to get to this salon. Delayed on the road, I called to make sure we could still get in 15 minutes late. I was told "no problem." When we arrived, we found the doors to the building locked. We called the salon and the owner came up to get us--but he was not happy about doing so. He remonstrated us (tourists to Sun Valley) for not knowing where the one, unlocked basement door was to the salon. When we arrived in the salon, we were told "Honestly, I don't have time to see you now." No apology for telling us we could get in, no referral anywhere else. Then he walked off and wouldn't speak to us again. If you need nail services in Ketchum, go anywhere but here. read more

If you are new to town or stopping through, make this place apart of your ritual. We visited yesterday and they are taking all the precautions. We felt safe and pampered at the same time. The best manicure/pedicure I've ever gotten. I got a mani/pedi 2 days before our wedding and I was nervous it would chip by wedding day...Not only did it stay perfect throughout the wedding day, but it remained perfect - no chips, scratches, flakes - throughout our honeymoon!
