I remember when this location in Red Mill was a Buffalo Wild Wings and I am impressed with how they have converted it into a clean, spacious and open swim-school. You check in immediately to the right at one of two desks as soon as you walk in. There are seats all around a glass-encased large swimming pool that is full of instructors and small classes of various levels (1-8 I believe). Our daughter is 2-years old and was in level 2 where a parent is in the pool with them helping them through the motions which are mostly related to getting them comfortable with getting submerged and not inhaling water into their mouths/noses. My little gal did well but was fussy (first time) for the 30-minute class. The instructor was young but competent and gave feedback at the end. There is a open shower area to rinse off at the back of the pool and a large locker room area to change (with changing tables in all for young babies who have to wear two swim diapers). There are men's and women's bathrooms and private showers if you want to bring things and take a full shower after. They have free coffee/tea while you sit and watch. I like that the pool is glass enclosed so one parent can get in the pool and another can watch from the chairs all around. They also sell some items you may need like googles, etc. We forgot a towel (so much stuff to bring) and my husband had to run to Walmart to get one (which is in the same strip mall) - they said usually they do have some for sale. Prices are pretty fair - with lessons being about $40 each and it gets a bit lower if you are doing multiple a week (you do it monthly). You can sign up on their online portal once you have an account and it's easy to use but I have had some issue with classes saying they're full when they aren't.... Plenty of parking and in an easy shopping area with loads nearby if you need to get errands done. All in all - hoping to get my gal comfortable with swimming here. The two littles in her class with her were doing wonderful and their parents said it was all due to those classes, so I'm very excited!

It is a top notch facility with very experienced coaches. I'm shocked they don't have a ton of reviews on Yelp. My daughter was quickly promoted to the competition track of training where she is about to receive a lot more training and within a smaller group for more personal attention. The kids here seem to learn and move up quickly. This gym has had a lot girls leave with college scholarships. I'm looking forward to my daughter's progression here. I have full confidence that my daughter will learn a lot here.

The instructors are highly disciplined and professional at all times. The staff take their time to ensure that students and their families stay informed about policies and feel comfortable at all times. There is no push for students to advance faster than they feel comfortable. I love the different class times that are available and the breakdown of age groups. You will enjoy the family environment. It is a multicultural learning experience that my family has enjoyed fir decades.

We have had some incidences on the bus, some things at school, some things at aftercare. All things that definitely upset me as a parent. Things that made me just want to shrink myself and put myself into her pocket so I could pop out when necessary. I know that's just not possible. After these Incidents we talked to officials at all places. They try their best at all these places. Unfortunately they just cannot be everywhere all the time to keep other children from acting like arses. Witty comebacks and telling the teachers, officials etc is just not enough in today's climate. We came and checked out Tiger Academy of Martial Arts. Staff is super pleasant and attentive. We did the two week trial. We watched the classes and talked to our daughter. We decided to sign up for classes. A couple of weeks ago an incident happened at school during lunch. Two children (one a play date friend) one a classmate. One pushed her. One was talking rude and accusing her of cheating at thr game they were playing. Let me tell you what happened: She not stood her ground. She calmly spoke to both children. She called the one on his language and cheating accusations. Calling him on havingngame rules he told no one. She calmly talked to her friend who pushed her and told her flat out. Not to touch her physically because no one has the right to do that to anyone. What happened was a shock to me. Both children actually responded in a positive manner. They were all able to move forward. When she came home and told me about the incident I have never been more proud of her. She told me that stood up for herself because of Tiger Martial Arts. She said what she learns in class helped her feel confident enough to handle the moment. Between the student creed, classes the amazing Sensei's and staff , home practice and friendship and family atmosphere, we have definitely landed in the right place. What our daughter was able to do in the moment rl is priceless. It's a step towards a positive correct direction of not taking any shit off anyone. I highly recommend checking them out. It could change your kids life.

Classes are offered throughout the week to fit everyone's schedules. They have waiting room for parents where they can view the kids practicing. The staff is very patient with the kids. The make sure each kid gets a chance to learn the techniques. To sum it up I will continue going and would recommend them to anyone!

They are kind, understanding, funny and playful. The masters are focused, respectful and hardworking. The environment is centered around principles of respect, hard work, discipline, the value of others and love of country; with a dash of indoor soccer and a heap of laughter. GrandMaster was the coach for the US Olympic Team for ten years. I believe with his experience, teaching style and love for his sport, there is no better a person to have as a leader, coach and mentor to young persons. She is not afraid to speak up against injustice, loves and protects nature, and is incredibly kind. Classroom: It provides a true Montessori environment that promotes independence and peace, making it the perfect place for kids of all backgrounds because they truly meet you where you are. The teacher-to-student ratio is 8:1. The staff are genuinely amazing and passionate about their work. Field trips, show-and-tell, nature walks, and much more are part of the experience. They invite people from all over to teach about animals, places, and everything in between. I never worried about dropping my kids off at school because I knew they were in good hands. My daughter is very confident and always tells me about the fun activities she participated in at school. Ms. Michelle was her main teacher, and she is like a real life Ms. Honey from Matilda. Ms. Jackie, Ms. Leanne, Ms. Sandy, and all the other educators are extraordinary, and I am forever grateful for giving my children a well rounded start in life. Extracurriculars: The school offers soccer and yoga. My daughter participated in both, and it's wonderful to see her practice her yoga poses at home. A note to know: There is no aftercare or beforecare available. School begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. I cannot recommend this school enough, and it is so bittersweet that my daughter has aged out and is moving on to her next adventure.

We love the school's philosophy and their willingness to accommodate our schedule and last minute changes. We feel strongly enough to drive 45 minutes across town for our children to attend Sandpiper. In our now 5 year affiliation with the school we have never heard a whiff of impropriety. My guess is the parents complaining in the reviews raised a lot of red flags of their own and the school decided these parents weren't worth the trouble. I think we've all met the type.
