I am new to the area, and out of all the doctors and midwives I had talked to, this place was definitely my favorite! They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

I had to go through 2 years of IVF and when I came back I was labeled high risk. They then advised 25-30+ ultrasounds! I declined ONE ultrasound and was discharged from being a patient. Dr. Texier didn't even seen me once and didn't have the courage to call me. The PA said it's Dr. Texier way or the highway and there is no questioning her authority. I am devastated bc I thought they cared about me. If you question anything or want more time to decide they will drop you at your most vulnerable time. DO START CARE HERE.

I didn't find anyone at the OB's office who cared as much about me as she did, so I came to Winter Garden OBGYN just in time to find out I was expecting my first kid. I can't say enough good things about both Dr. Texier and Dr. Elms. They both were very perceptive to me throughout my pregnancy and answered all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Texier delivered my baby girl, and I don't think it would have gone as smoothly but for Dr. Texier's very clear instructions. Thank you so much, Dr. Texier! Their staff are also just as caring. Special thanks to Lily, who was always a friendly face and walked me through the process whenever something was being done. Tammy, the office manager, also helped adjust my office visits to fit my schedule, as well as addressed a clinical issue I had during a blood draw. The office itself is gorgeous and physically appealing. It makes sense since the building itself is also brand new. The reception area has a little Keurig for coffee, as well as a mini fridge for water and juice boxes. I will continue to go to Winter Garden OBGYN. They've officially earned my trust.

The office was not very up to date and one needs to some tests in other lab facilities. When it was time for my delivery, the midwives who work there, or at least the one who was on call night, I thought I was going I to delivery.. was busy with another delivery and didn't have time to place attention on me. No one came to assist her, and she must have felt exhausted with work that evening. It was clear in the way she responded to my concerns. They sent me to the hospital who didn't receive correct information from them and I had horrible horrible experience. The nurse on hospital broke my water without my consent and they ended up putting me in emergency c section. My worst fears. The birth place did not show any concern, did nor assist while I was there, only they made a phone call to ask questions but not to assist my situation. I felt deserted. The famous midwife whose name is associated with center is no where to be found most of the time, she is busy at seminars and events. I shared my experience with other natural birth moms in the area, and they were horrified at the attention I received. There are much better centers in central Florida. Do yourself a favor and don't take a chance here. From experience, I can say this place doesn't have the care when there is more than one mom who is going into labor. They threw me to the wolves and simply tried to protect themselves.

Robin (Licensed Midwife) is super sweet, soft spoken, always has a natural remedy for little symptoms throughout the time. The receptionist, Kat, is ON IT and also super sweet every time you arrive and is super helpful with anything insurance/money/ documentation - and she genuinely has your back with all of that stuff. I was blessed with a (relatively speaking) easy pregnancy but Robin answered 2/2 of my late night SOS calls that I had during that time frame. And when I called thinking labor was starting she was ready to get there and support me, no hesitation, despite it being a seemingly fast timeline (and thank goodness she trusted me and was ready, because I was 8-9cm by the time I got there). Immediately following the birth of my second child, he proceeded to sew me up (vaginally) after the epidural had worn off and I was VERY vocal about it, telling him I could feel everything at that point. The nurse quickly offered to grab some local anesthetic but he said something to the effect of, "no, this will be quick and I'll be done by then." The nurse later came to apologize to me for his flippant behavior. It was obvious she felt bad. Then, at my first follow-up after this incident, he casually mentioned how weird it was that my epidural had worn off, but he absolutely failed to apologize or admit any wrongdoing (for legal reasons, obviously). Also, he had horrible bedside manner. The fact that after all these years, hearing about or reading any other woman's birth story brings this up for me is very telling as to how much trauma it caused me. After a quick search I noticed it appears he's still practicing, though I don't know where. My experience with him took place at Winter Park Memorial Hospital.

They would also contradict each other causing a lot of confusion. Anesthesiologist punctured my wife's spine and blamed her...another had to come and finish. What took the first provider five pokes in 30 minutes took the next one about 90 seconds. Clearly operator error. Very unprofessional. Due to this my wife had to have another procedure after giving birth to twins...he had severe back pain, was leaking spinal fluid and was have headache so debilitating she couldn't even get up to use the restroom. None of this is related to giving birth... all of it was related to the epidural and due to the incompetence of anesthesiologist. The only good doctor we experienced was the one who delivered our twins. She kept checking in with us, communicated a plan with us and was very positive. We were there for 5 days and only saw a doctor when we requested one about 2 hours before you were discharged. no one can answer our questions... The nurse has tried their best, but weren't getting much answers from the doctors above them. Again, shout out to the delivery unit, nursing staff, lead nurses, charge nurses and entire nicu staff. Oh! The food staff and cleaning staff was also very nice and did their job well. Doctors? 2/10 We considering contacting an attorney.

Overall, my daughter had a very good experience delivering her daughter here a few months ago with…read morea few exceptions. First, it is so cold in the maternity area that I had to get blankets to keep myself warm, as well as my son in law who was also freezing.My daughter was covered and she was cold, even being in labor! Secondly, when it was time for the baby to be born, the nurse told my daughter she would have to wait as the doctor was delivering another baby.....what???....another nurse grabbed the house phone and said that unless a doctor came to my daughter's room immediately, the nurse was going to deliver the baby. Two doctors showed up rather quickly. My grand daughter made her entrance into the world! The nurses were fantastic,patient, and spent a lot of time explaining what was going on with my daughter's labor. The hospital is clean and well maintained. Food was just okay. Breast feeding support seemed to be good. There was a lag in time when my daughter and her husband were told a room would be ready in the NICU (baby needed some blood work follow-up) would be ready in an hour. It took several hours.They were exhausted as my daughter had been in labor for quite some time and just wanted to get settled so they could rest a bit before bringing the baby home. Anyway, the little family is fine!
