Told me I was developing cataracts like 'pass the salt' at some cafe counter. Did not bother to give me his full attention when announcing anything. Front desk gals meh. The office will not give you your pupil distance without ordering eyeglasses from them. So when you get your exam make sure you ask before leaving the exam room. And they have all these fees if you do order glasses from them. Fees for stuff I have never heard of at any eyeglass office. Anything to make a buck. Like, Mary states cheap and of course it is one of the only offices that take medicaid/medicare.

I stopped the girl who roomed me in the hallway and asked her what the holdup was. And she said, Dr. Carter was not back from lunch yet.!! But as soon as he gets back, you're ready to go. When Dr. Carter finally arrived, he said, sorry I'm late. I had to pick up things for the clinic.. WOW!! Don't they have people to take care of things like that.Why would a doctor have to go pick up things for the clinic? I was not late for my appointment.So why was he late. Now everyone behind me has to wait too!! Even if the patient before me was late and he didn't get to lunch on time. I would think on a professionalism. He would postpone his lunch or shorten it up. We have both macular degeneration and glaucoma in my family, so she always keeps this in mind during my exams. I'm sure any problems with my eyes will be caught early enough to get good treatment with good results. I highly recommend this clinic!

Update to my previous 1 star review. 2 days later I received…read morean email offering me $25 off my out of pocket expense if I call and reschedule. So I did call and reschedule. Everything went MUCH smoother except for when I was placed in the room to see the Dr the lady who put me in the room never turned on the "ready" light so I sat and waited 20 minutes before the Dr happened to walk past the room and see that I was sitting in there. The Dr was very nice, fast and efficient. I will be returning. Just word of advice though, if you wait longer than 10 minutes make sure to ask someone what the delay is as they may not realize that you are there. :)
