I stopped the girl who roomed me in the hallway and asked her what the holdup was. And she said, Dr. Carter was not back from lunch yet.!! But as soon as he gets back, you're ready to go. When Dr. Carter finally arrived, he said, sorry I'm late. I had to pick up things for the clinic.. WOW!! Don't they have people to take care of things like that.Why would a doctor have to go pick up things for the clinic? I was not late for my appointment.So why was he late. Now everyone behind me has to wait too!! Even if the patient before me was late and he didn't get to lunch on time. I would think on a professionalism. He would postpone his lunch or shorten it up. Arrived at the ER approx. 9 PM on a Friday evening with SEVERE abdominal pain. The ER had one…read moreperson there waiting when we arrived. I had the routine lab done, blood and urine and a CAT scan done. Unbeknownst to us, there is no radiologist on duty in the evenings so there is no one to read your CAT scan! It gets sent off to TIMBUKTU to be read by some radiologist at another hospital who knows where. We wait for FOUR HOURS for test results. They had to call THREE times to finally get someone take a look at my scan. I could have died in that time; I was diagnosed with a very serious medical condition that came close to resulting in surgery with possible complications and death. I left with taking an antibiotic pill and pain med. After this experience, I would not recommend this hospital. If we need emergency care, we will go elsewhere in the future.

The doctor in the emergency room sent me home broken neck. He acted as if I was there for drugs…read moreonly he, told me he hadn' seen my neck before so he couldn't tell if it was swollen. I ended up having emergency surgery for my broken neck. The surgeon told me that I could be dead or paralyzed.
