Dr Kiushik Nag at IMS cardiology and his staff were great! We were seen very close to our appointment time and were able to fill out the paperwork ahead of time. Dr. Nag was kind and patient with my 86 yr old mother and super efficient with the time that he had during the appointment- nice bedside manner. The staff was professional, kind and compassionate and we are real happy to have found him. There are a lot of negative reviews of IMS as a business but if you need a cardiologist, Dr.Nag and his staff were wonderful and I would recommend this practice read more

The old lady checking in in suite 205 needs to be taken care of immediately by her supervisor or someone that is actually going to take corrective action on her. She is absolutely rude to patients and staff. She always has a bad attitude towards ALL THE PATIENTS and is always raising her voice this is not the first time this has happened I have been there multiple times and every single time I go there she is always extremely unprofessional. When she's not yelling at staff or patients she's doing her hair or makeup. Another reason why this lady is so unprofessional is due to the fact that she's always showing her cleavage to everyone with that old nasty piercing of hers. If nothing is done the next time I go in there I will absolutely be taking this up to the health board this person is very much disrespectful and unprofessional. read more

IMS Cardiology in Surprise is a top-notch clinic - from the front desk staff to the nurses and the doctors! A special consideration should be given to Dr. Rampal. What a gem of a doctor! Kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Rampal embodies what a doctor should be. I have a genetic condition that causes me to have sky high cholesterol numbers and, as a result, have some plaque build-up in my coronary arteries. Dr. Rampal performed a cardiac catheterization on me to ensure that there was no serious blockage - especially in my left main artery. He also coordinated my Repatha prescription with a specialized pharmacy so that it would be covered by my insurance. He has always gone above and beyond with me and I am 100% satisfied that my heart is well taken care of with him. read more

Worst medical professional office I've ever been to. Referred to location on 59th ave and olive by my primary. Saw cardiologist because I had abnormal EKG, high blood pressure and constant chest pain. Dr at this location did another EKG, confirmed I had irregularities and then after I explained how bad my chest hurt scheduled me for an EKG monitor, stress test and ecolab 3 and 4 weeks away. I've stayed the night in the hospital 3 times now, and now seeing a real cardiologist elsewhere but continue to get phone calls for last 2 weeks being notified that IMS has to keep moving my appointments out even further and further because "something came up". Don't go here you'll end up dead from a heart issue before they help you. read more

I saw one of the cardiologists in the hospital, and was referred to have a follow up appointment. I was not able to get an appointment. I was repeatedly left on hold until the hold ended with a hang up. Repeatedly. I have no idea if these are good doctors because their systems are too dysfunctional. Any doctor has to be better than what I experienced here. read more

Had an appointment today to have my INR checked and to get at prescription for my artificial heart valve. My appointment was at 10am. I go to Walgreens to pick up my prescription after work at 5pm and they don't have my prescription. I call the doctors office and they tell me to go to urgent care. So now I can't take my necessary medicine for 3 days. Don't go to IMS. They just want your copay and do not care about you! read more

IMS in Avondale has the most dysfunctional cardiology office I've had ever had the misfortune of being a patient there. You can consider yourself fortunate if your call even gets through. I was placed on a new blood pressure medication a few weeks ago that didn't agree with me and called the office on Monday, 5/10/21 at 8:30 AM & every day thereafter. Each time I was told the doctor would get back to me. Today is Friday, 5/14/21 and no response from the doctor or anyone in that office. I finally received a call from a supervisor in Paradise Valley office. She was exceptionally efficient and immediately got answers regarding my blood pressure meds. I have very mixed feeling about continuing with this office. Currently I am waiting for a response from the corporate office. read more

The worst front office staff. I take my grandma to her appointments, which are often due to her condition and every time we walk in one of the ladies rolls her eyes. We never feel welcomed or taken care of, just trying to get us in and out. And the doctor himself is the only one that accommodates my grandma with her spoken language, the front office just speaks English and expects her to understand it all. We're looking into switching providers because her condition is stressful enough and they just make it so much harder and worse. read more

Again, IMS strikes. I had a 2:30 appt and arrived at 2:00 and filled out forms. I returned them by 2:15, yet didn't get taken back until 3:00! Then I waited in that room, again, for 30 FRIGGIN MINUTES!!!! NO DOCTOR!!!! I calmly exited the room, and demanded return of my copay. It is a pity I HAVE TO give them one star because after the way IMS treats people I wouldn't give them a star at all! I am making a report to my GP that they remove IMS Cardiology from their reference work as this place literally SUCKS! read more

Had a abnormal EKG and was sent to Dr. Niak. I was extremely happy with how thorough he was and was very kind and professional. Had to have testing done and the staff in the testing center were also wonderful. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of front office staff. As a former office manager their conduct and poor attitude does effect a patient's experience. That aside if you need a cardiologist Dr. Niak is great! read more

There is no rating low enough! What an uncaring office with no compassion or respect for the time of their patients. I called and scheduled an appointment. The first I could get was about 45 days out. Shortly before the appointment they cancelled because "no doctor would be in the office" and told me the earliest I could reschedule was 32 days later. I then went into the rescheduled appointment at 9:00 am, sat there for 40 minutes only to be told that they could not see me that day because there was no available time on the treadmill. I of course had already taken the day off of work, but they could care less. Find somewhere else where they actually care about their patients. This was at the Bell Road location. read more

I see Dr. Murray at the Surprise Clinic and have had dealings with employees at the McDowell office as well. I have nothing but great things to say, both about Dr. Murray, his assistant and the entire staff. I feel very lucky to have found him. read more

I have been going to I.M.S for a couple of years my Dr. was Dr. Nag. Dr. Nag is a great doctor I have no complaints about him. My issue is with the appointment service they use, I received a follow up call to confirm an appointment, I was driving at the time and had no way to put the time in my calendar, my mistake. 10:00 on the 6th I thought but since he called to confirm the appointment yesterday and most confirm the day before I thought it was the 5th. The problem was not a big deal I thought I would just call and confirm, until I called to confirm it was 9:30 on the 5th and thought I would start driving there just in case they said it was the 5th if they said it was the 6th I would be just turn around. Big mistake on my part thinking I would only be on hold for a few min. I made it to the I.M.S building walked up only to see three ladies sitting there not on the phone talking to patience but pretty much doing nothing. I asked them who handles the phone service and explained I had been on hold for 18 min and all I wanted to find out is if I had an appointment today or not. She said they use an answering service and they have been in the process of changes, which might be why I had the issue. I have to say what I did not tell her was I tried to call a lot earlier and every time was put on hold, unless you hit 1 for new appointment no one will answer, when they do and you tell them you are existing patient you go on hold. My experience just happened on the wrong day and time I am the type of person if you make an appointment at 10:00 am then I will not wait any longer then 10:15 am before I leave and tell to reschedule when they plan on keeping the correct appointment time, if when I come in and they let me know the Dr. is running a little behind I will usually stay common courtesy to let you know. He may be giving someone some very bad news and will need more time with them. Needless to say I told the lady to cancel the 6th appointment and I was done with this place if there is a problem with the appointment service then the calls should go straight to the doctor's office to schedule and update info and that is if it is even true because before I have talked directly to his staff in the past getting transferred to them. I did one last thing I called as I was leaving I hit 1 for new patient and the same lady who put me on hold answered and I let her know because of her putting me on hold for 18min that I just quit having Dr. Nag as a doctor and using I.M.S anymore. Some may think it is no big deal but I do and will take my business somewhere else. I am sure they will not care that they lost a patient because of this but I am still talking about it because it pissed me off at the wrong time or maybe the right time. read more

I saw Dr Moon twice and had absolutely no problem with him and thought he was wonderful. However, I recently had an appointment scheduled 3 weeks prior to the appointment through a referral with my primary care doctor. Two days prior to my appointment a reminder message was left confirming my appointment and asking me to call back to confirm, which I did. Ten minutes later I received a call back from the office telling me Dr Moon is not taking new patients and they would need to reschedule me with someone else at a later date. I explained I'd seen Dr Moon in the past; but, was told after 3 years I'm considered a new patient. Why, after 3 weeks of making my appointment, with a referral AND after confirming my appointment 2 days prior, do they decide 10 minutes later I'm considered a new patient and can't see Dr Moon? Of course they had no answer. When requesting to speak to the office manager, Jennifer, I was given the run around before being sent to Jennifer's voicemail so she could screen the message and not have to confront the issue like a respectful leader should. Rather, Jennifer shirked her responsibility to rectify a situation and made a very, very dissatisfied former patient. This was unacceptable, inexcusable and unprofessional on their part! Forget the fact that I had to take a day off from work for this appointment. I would highly discourage anyone from choosing this office! read more
