The biggest issue was being charged $120 for toner, three separate toner charges at $40 each. At no point before or during my appointment was I told that three different toners would be used, that toner would be charged separately, or that an additional $120 would be added to my bill. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I didn't learn about the three different toner formulas being used until after the service was finished. When my stylist was discussing retail products and attempting to sell me additional items for home use, I declined. It was during that conversation, while preparing my receipt, that she informed me she had used three different toners to achieve the final result. The decision to use three different toner formulas was never discussed with me beforehand. My stylist may have felt they were necessary to achieve the desired color, but that was a creative choice made during the service. If those choices are going to increase the cost of an appointment by more than $100, clients should be informed before the products are applied--not after the service is complete and payment is due. I have medium-length, very fine hair and have had my hair professionally colored for years. I've never had a stylist add three separate toner charges without discussing them first. Whether one toner or three toners were actually used is less important than the fact that the charges were never disclosed. Based on the salon's advertised pricing, I expected my appointment to be under $200. Instead, my total came to around $300. Learning about an extra $120 charge only after declining additional retail products made the whole situation feel like a cash grab and left me feeling blindsided. Had the costs been explained upfront, I could have made an informed decision about how I wanted to proceed. The service itself was fine, the color for the most part, resembled the inspiration, but transparency matters. I don't mind paying for quality work, but I do expect to be told when a stylist's decisions will add significant charges to my bill. Unfortunately, the lack of communication overshadowed what could have been a pretty pleasant experience.

I went to see McKenzie the assistant manager to get my hair a light blonde color with very little…read morehighlights to make it not a plain blonde. During the process she just threw color on my hair. She didn't use but 4 foils which she ended up doing big uneven streaks not highlights. She left the color on my hair for around 50 minutes and never once checked the color. After she washed the color out and took the towel off my head I instantly made a face and pointed out that it was orangish red not blonde. She said let's wait to see how it looks when it's dry. After she finished I told her it's not what I wanted and so she said i can come back and get it fixed at no charge. After I came home and spoke with my husband and he pointed out all the mistakes(example: patches, thick streaks, color) that she had done; I decided to message her and let her know that I didn't feel comfortable having her do it again since it was so far off from what I wanted as well as very damaged. (My hair was completely healthy before my visit) I let her know that I would just prefer to get a refund and go else where to get it fixed. She told me that I had to call her manager Billy in the morning. When I called and spoke with billy that morning about the situation, she was very hateful on the phone and sounded annoyed. She told me that she had to contact her manager because she didn't have the authority to authorize a refund and that she would contact me later that afternoon. I was out driving for lunch and decided to call and check in since I hadn't heard anything and I asked billy if she would want me to come by to show her my hair since I was already by there it was no problem. Billy cut me off and said that she had already spoken with her boss and that since McKenzie offered me to redo it and I refused(which I did) and herself ( billy)offered to do it and I refused (this was NEVER offered) that they will not be issuing a refund and they will not be offering to fix it now so I needed to go else where to get it fixed. She then hung up the phone on me. My husband ended up calling and she got hateful with him as well. So he asked for her bosses number which she proceeded to tell him she wasn't allowed to give out that number but she could give him an email. He emailed corporate and explained the situation. A lady named heather reached back out quickly and let him know that I can go to the east side to get it fixed. The woman who tried to fix it I believe did her best to fix it but the damage was already done. So now I am left with damaged hair and not the color I wanted. I have never had an issue at any other salon and I have been getting my hair done in the salon once/twice a year since I was15 and I am now 26. I am a stay at home mom to a toddler and haven't got to get my hair done in almost 2 years so this was supposed to be a great experience and it turned into a nightmare. McKenzie and billy tried to blame me being pregnant why the color didn't work and the damage happened but I had gotten the exact same thing I wanted done when I was pregnant with my daughter and had no issues as I have natural blonde In my hair. The way McKenzie (assistant manager) and Billy the manager had treated me is unforgettable and i pray no one else has to go through what I did.What was supposed to be a relaxing and fun experience turned into one of the worst and most traumatic experiences I've ever had. I will post pictures of what I started with which was my natural brown/red on top and blonde on bottom. I wanted a solid blonde with highlights. I arrived right on time for my appointment (this place is a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area so plan ahead). The receptionist was very pleasant - she quickly checked me in and asked me to wait for my scheduled stylist. After waiting for about 10 minutes upfront it became obvious that something was wrong. That's when Chuck came to the rescue - apparently the stylist I was scheduled with had an emergency and would not be able to see me. Chuck was my replacement stylist, but he was more of a savior than a replacement. I have a lot of really long, thin hair - which can be a nightmare work with in general, but it is especially terrible if you aren't expecting to deal with it. But Chuck never let on that my crazy mane was causing any problems with his schedule. Thanks to Chuck hair color went from blah brown with neglected highlights to a warm shade of brown with carmel highlights and my hair cut was exactly what I wanted - it may not have been a 'cutting edge style' but its what I requested and he cut perfectly. And not only did I leave with a hair cut and color that I loved, he was also sweet enough to fill me in on great local restaurants, bars and other fun things to do. Like I said - I'm new to the area and this added bit of info was such a great addition to a fabulous appointment. I also have to give a shout out to Kirsten R. She stepped in and helped out when my color/cut process time ran over into another one of Chuck's appointments. Its really refreshing to see two stylist work together to help each other and to make sure the client is taken care of. Turns out that I forgot to use my Groupon after all - which is perfectly fine with me because I plan on making Beaux Cheveux my go to salon in Evansville.

Then they even fit us in for makeup. Maggie did that and was also very attentive. My friend and I were on a tight timeline and they saw to it that we were finished and on our way in time. The curls and makeup lasted all day and evening and the cost was an unbelievable bargain! Honestly, $20 for hair AND makeup seems impossible. I highly recommend Roger's. The place was clean and efficient and the service and prices were fantastic.

I was greeted & asked to sign in on the iPad; after that I was seated in a pedicure chair. After the polish change was complete, I got to relax while waiting for a spot to open in a nail chair. I was asked many times if I was okay or to say "it won't be much longer"; which I appreciated. No big deal since I was just scrolling through my phone like I would at home but getting a massage during! Many times I get nicked by the drill and I didn't! I just spent 2 hours getting french tip gel on my NATURAL nail. The girl who initially started…read moredoing my nails had absolutely no idea how to do french tip and neither did the second girl who did my nail. My nails look absolutely horrible. The shape is messed up, the French is uneven and extremely thick, and I just wasted 2 hours for these less than mediocre nails. I even showed a picture of exactly how I wanted my French Tip to look multiple times and it was still done horribly.
