Impex is a family owned business and they have the best customer service ever and they do the best work on your vehicle. I don't trust anyone else with my Mercedes. Kindest family ever, really good people. We made friends with Pepe (Julio Sr), he's a great man. He was doing magic tricks for my daughter and I. We enjoyed his company and he invited us back for Argentinian pastries on Saturday's. Love him! Love the espresso and how the car came out!!! This was my 2nd time using them. Oh and they even touched up a small scratch I had because they are the best!!! read more

Amazing body shop! Julio and Maria kept me informed throughout my repairs and dealt with my insurance company. Every time I called with a question or to check in they knew exactly what was going on. I was expecting delays due to parts being on backorder nationwide but it didn't seem to slow them down one bit! I highly recommend them.... the best part is that my vehicle was much cleaner when I picked it up then when I dropped it off! read more

There aren't enough words to describe how happy I am with Impex. The quality of work was phenomenal and Julio walked me through step-by-step what was done to the car. You can sense his passion for doing things the right way every time. The entire staff treated me like I was family from the moment I walked in the door. If your vehicle needs repairs, please go see them. You will not be disappointed. (And the espresso machine is fantastic as well!) read more

My daughter is a college student, away from home, having to deal go through the accident/insurance/car rental/repair process. She had a wonderful experience here. Not only did they do a great job fixing her car and in a timely manner, they went above and beyond in the customer service. She was guided through the process with ease and they even kept her well fed!! As a mom who couldn't be there to help, I appreciate the exceptional work and customer care. read more

Excellent customer service . Family -owned and ran business with integrity. Very timely in getting my car fixed and back to me before the holidays . I would recommend them to everyone ! I even had to come back because something unrelated to what they fixed broke on my car and they replaced it free of charge . read more

Fantastic customer service and the repairs make the car look like it it's new again! The owner went out his way to help me too. I would 100% come back to the shop again for the excellent work they do. read more

After owning my new GMC Yukon for only two weeks somebody ran in to the front end while in a parking lot while I was eating lunch. No note, just a banged up front end. I started looking for a place to do the work and quickly found bad review after bad review. I talked to my insurance company(Progressive) and asked them who does the best work in central Florida. They said call Impex and you will not be disappointed. I never write reviews but I really felt the need to do one for Impex considering how exceptional the entire experience was. My experience with Impex was beyond excellent! Quality of the job and customer service is the best I have seen in recent years! I am a extremely particular person with the things I own and would not settle for anything less than a factory quality paint job and repair. They worked seamlessly with progressive (who was actually at the shop) and made sure no corners where cut and the repair was perfect and that I was 100% satisfied. This is an family owned business that takes exceptional care of your vehicle. My vehicle had almost $4000 in damage and you can not tell that it ever happened. I noticed the grill was very slightly offset after I got my car back home. I stopped in the next day, without an appt during a busy time of day. Julio immediately came out, assessed what was wrong and what needed to get fixed. He pulled my truck around back and within 20 mins and a cup of coffee I was on my way. If you need body or paint work done, go to IMPEX. You will not find anything better in the Tampa area! I did my research. They are the best!! Thank you Impex! read more

I had the pleasure in working with this amazing, family-owned company recently, just after an un-insured driver had completely rear-ended my BMW. The event occurred just prior to Christmas and I was looking for the right shop to come to my rescue - someone who would take care of my car like it was their very own. In the end, I couldn't have been more pleased with my decision to choose IMPEX. They took me in as if I was family; and they felt like family too. From their level of customer service, down to their ability to do great, professional work - and even go beyond their call of duty in order to truly help me - was nothing short of a blessing. I very highly recommend IMPEX to anyone seeking service. They're now the ONLY shop I will ever take my BMW to. And, they're the only ones I trust! Julio - I'm soo grateful for you! :) read more

What a great place. Everyone associated with this business starting from top to bottom is terrific and very professional. I will admit I was filled with caution when I brought my old VW van in for some body repairs. I am a very old man (a bit older than my VW van) and over the years have seen the demise of great customer service and quality work in this country. When I took the van to Julio (remember this name, he is terrific), I was in poor health and undergoing physical therapy. He reassured me that he would take care of my van and when I finished with my rehab, the van would be returned to me like new. Well, his crew did a beautiful job and I must say my van looks better than "brand new". Julio kept me informed on the progress of the repair each step of the way. In my opinion, this is the only place in Tampa Bay to take your vehicle for body repair. My faith has been restored, there is still a place that does quality work and great customer service, in this country. Love these guys, and also, they make a great expresso. read more

Great shop. Julio and staff are an honest first rate operation. I have taken 2 cars in there and extremely pleased with work and pricing.

Best body shop in Tampa!! I have taken my car in 3 times over the last 6 or 7 years and each time I have been so pleased with the results. The service is excellent, and quality is exceptional. I was treated so well, not just a number, but like my business was important to them. Julio was always so responsive to my questions and explained what needed to be done, set expectations, and made sure my car was fixed on time. I will only bring my vehicles here for body work. Thanks for making it a great experience once again, and for the great espresso!! read more

Honest family business that do it right. These guys I trust. Because they are so good they are busy so ask what their backlog is.

I rarely take the time out of my precious retirement era to sit down and write a letter of praise about a company. However, their true desire to help, their comforting heartfelt attitude, and the total honesty and integrity I receive from this company called "IMPEX Auto Body Collision Center" on Osborne Avenue in Tampa impelled me to write this review on the internet. I walked into their shop and had the pleasure of being greeted by the owner Julio. Within moments of talking with Julio I truly felt that he was treating me like a well respected member of his personal family. He displayed a sincere concern for my personal needs as well as for my car's fender-bender repairs. I was delighted how wonderful our initial conversation went. Additionally, the customers who were in the waiting area picking up their vehicles were praising the work this company has done for them now and in years past. They too, really wanted others to appreciate how wonderful their work and their ethics are. Needless to say, I made an appointment with IMPEX to repair my car, and now I am amongst those happy customers touting how wonderful they are, too. I cannot say enough good things about Julio and his entire staff. Each and every one working there appears to be a happy camper loving what they do... and they all really appreciate working for Julio. While in the waiting area for my car, I met about six of his repair technicians and staff... each and every one of them asked if I would like a cup of their much-loved Espresso Coffee, and each and every one of them asked me if there was anything else they can do for me while I was waiting to pick up my car. My car, needless to say, looked impeccable when it was done. I didn't know how to thank Julio and his staff enough, so I decided that the least I can do to show my sincere appreciation was to write this more than well deserved review on the internet. IMPEX is fabulous company I will be telling everybody about. Thank you Julio and all your staff... I am now yet another one of your long list of ecstatic customers. read more

I honestly cannot say enough about the impeccable service this body shop provides! From the second you walk through the door you are treated with the utmost kindness and respect from everyone there. They take such pride in every detail and go above and beyond to make sure you are pleased with every aspect of your service. Julio puts you at ease from the moment you walk in and is up front and HONEST about your repairs. They truly do care and it shows in their service, integrity and work. I will never go anywhere else and will absolutely not hesitate to tell my friends and family about Impex. Thank you for the amazing service...you are truly THE BEST!! read more

What a great company! Julio went out of his way to help me after my two month old vehicle was in a collision. He was always available to speak with me and his work is amazing! It was finished quickly and my car looks as good as the day I bought it! Thank you Julio! read more

BEST shop for Tesla body repair!!! I was directed to Julio by my insurance company. They did a great job at a huge fraction of the estimates from the "certified" Tesla shops in town. Outstanding service from every member of the staff, just like the other reviews say, and the espresso machine is truly badass!!! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Julio and Impex G.A.E.. They were lightning fast and did a phenomenal job repairing the damage to my car. Talk about above and beyond service! Julio and his employees were courteous and friendly and made this entire process run smoothly. I picked up my car and they had detailed the inside of it for me without any extra cost. I will definitely be going back if I ever need car repair. If you're lucky, you might run into Julio's dad while waiting to check out. He made me a delicious espresso and offered some insightful wisdom to brighten my day after dealing with vandalism to my car. These are the kind of things that make you feel less like a customer and more like a part of the family at Impex. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to feel cared for and not treated like a dollar sign!!!!! 10 out of 10! read more

Best body shop in Tampa from my experience, I've never experienced such follow through and personal attention. Don't go somewhere else if they're busy. read more

My car needed minor accident repairs recently -- covered by insurance. When I dropped my car off, the owner saw me standing there waiting for the rental car and offered me a ride to Enterprise. My car looked better than new a few days later when I picked it up. The owner takes pride in his business and I cannot say enough about the quality of the people and the service I received. read more

We have brought our cars here for years for both the little and big stuff...simply because these guys are fair and honest. It's what you're looking for in a car shop! Time and time again, they've helped us out with body and mechanical issues, and never once have they ever tried to upsell us on any unneeded service. In fact, more often than not, they give us cheap or free ways to address out little problems, taking money out of their own pocket. But we leave here every time with a good feeling that our cars are in good hands. read more

Getting body work done on your car is never a good thing but when the right people do the right work it is fine in the end. Julio and his crew took care of my truck like it was their own and the result is probably better than new. I'm as picky as they come and Julio made sure that everything was perfect. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

Excellent customer service and body shop. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and satisfied when you leave. Julio was always reachable and answered all my questions. Would never go anywhere else!! Thank you!! read more

Being in the customer service field, I have high expectations of how I want to be treated. IMPEX embodies how everyone should be treated - not as another customer, but a human being first. I wish I would have known about Julio and his place many years ago as I would have only gone to them for any of my repair needs. Truly a pleasure and honor to have spent a few minutes talking about life with Julio and his father - which is a gem! Wish you all much continued success, Julio & family. read more

Julio and his entire team are the most honest, helpful and hardworking small business I've ever came in contact with. First of all it is extremely easy to schedule a drop off for an estimate of your car. The estimate is completed while you wait. And while you wait they make you feel like you are at home offering you Cuban coffee, great conversation, a huge tv and the cutest dog to pet. When you decide to have the professionals work on your car, they keep in constant contact with you regarding your repairs and estimated completion time. They do not cut corners in order to satisfy a completion time. In my case my insurance company stated that my bumper was repairable. Upon further review Julio contacted my insurance company to inform them that the bumper had to be replaced. It took a few extra days, but perfection takes time! These men are amazing and do whatever is possible to save you money while providing excellent customer service and treating your car as if it was their own. read more

Julio and his team are hand's down the best in Tampa. First impressions go a long way, and IMPEX went the distance and more. My wife and I stopped by to discuss bringing my vehicle to his shop, as opposed to bringing it to my insurance company's recommended shop. I'm glad I did. He took the time to talk to us, and listen. He offered to make us an espresso, and take a pastry from a local bakery. Julio is truly concerned with helping you, not just faking it. He discussed the process and made us feel comfortable. There's no blowing smoke, just to get your business. It's genuine. My insurance company would not pay to blend the fenders when I had damage to the front hood. Julio felt it was the right thing to do to get the fender's painted as well, and he ate the cost to do so. His employees are paid on salary, not hourly like other shops. This is a game changer in my opinion. The employees are family, not just another body. I even got a tour of the shop, discussed some of the equipment they use, the paint booths, paint lab, and the guys were feverishly working on several different cars, without skipping a beat. I believe that you should only take your vehicle to Julio and his family of professionals, and nowhere else. Just read through some of the other reviews, and your decision should be easy. Thanks for making it a great experience. We will always think of you when we need, or if someone we know, needs auto body work. Or, even if they want to stop in and have an espresso with you. read more

Impex was fantastic. Had some damage to my car from someone who hit my car in a parking lot and took off! The staff was friendly courteous and quick and most of all professional I highly recommend them. Julio and his team are amazing. read more

Thank you. Best honest service. Even though it was a small issue, it is a huge relief knowing im safe on the road with a working horn

This place was the best!!! Julio and his dad were awesome! They do not allow you to be inconvenienced. They have been in business for years and have a great relationship with insurance and rent-a-car places to help you out. They were always reachable text and calls whenever I wanted. They were great!!! I hope I never need them again but if I do I will not hesitate calling IMPEX! I'm also letting all of MacDill AFB know that this is where you need to take your car! Thanks guys! read more

We all have sooner or later experiences that result in the need for damage repair on our cars. I have several of these to speak of and my experiences with the repair end of it have been tortuous. IMPEX blew me away with delivering when they said they would ( actually sooner!) and the quality of the repair exceded my expectations! Extremely refreshing to experience this! They genuinely take pride in what they do and I am a raving fan! read more

This place is awesome! I found them by accident. I was in an accident, and Progressive recommended I let them take my car here. I knew my car may be totalled, but didn't want it to be. The frame was bent in a head-on collission, and because Julio knows how to fix anything & everything, and he knew I wanted that car still, he put it on the machine and straightened the frame so insurance would not total it. When a neighbor (to the shop) needed work on her car, and they knew she couldn't afford it, they did the work pro-bono. If you stop by you accept their offer of an espresso, they are as proud of their espresso machine as we are to have them here! read more

I should have posted this review so long ago- but without a doubt this is the best service I have received. I am a college student at the University of Tampa with the rest of my family living in Illinois, so when I got into a fender bender my parents were understandably worried about finding a good car service to help out. Julio and the rest of the team were not only more than willing to go above and beyond at providing the best service possible, they also are a quality team that cares for you as an individual. Since my original repair I have returned for anything- small or big- and they have never hesitated to help me out more than I could think possible and with smiles on their faces. GO HERE! You will not regret it. read more

I had my first accident ever and my insurance company sent me to Impex G.A.E., Ltd. for an appraisal. They were so helpful I decided to have my car repaired there. When I got my car back the work was impeccable but what really stood out was the customer service and the painless experience dealing with the insurance company and having my car repaired. Impex G.A.E., Ltd. made feel at home, fixed my car quickly, and as result earned my trust. I hope to never have another accident but if I do I will definitely return to Impex G.A.E., Ltd. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I was recently rear ended in my 2010 volkswagen jetta and my heart sank !! I baby this car and was worried about the repairs to come. The insurance company told me about IMPEX GAE repair center and the car was taken there for the repairs. I drove to the center a couple of days after they had the car and talked to the owner Julio Piazza who put my worries to rest. He answered every question I asked with no fast talk and assured me the repairs would be perfect, down to the body lines, alignment and paint. I picked my car up today and inspected it top to bottom and he was right !!! It looks great and everything is perfect, you would be hard pressed to tell it had any damage. I later called and asked about the computer reset as the battery had been removed for repairs, not to worry... it had been reset also ( a $ 109.95 savings ) had volkswagen done it !! Impex has ALL of the required equipment to do everything in house and makes sure the repairs are perfect and they stand by the work for as long as you own the car. Not many repair shops go the extra mile to not only repair your car perfectly, but their customer service is second to none. If you ever have a need for car repair, THIS is the place you want to go !! it just doesn't get any better. Call the owner Julio and speak to him and you will be convinced you made the right decision. I'm once again a happy camper and my car looks great. Thanks Julio for the outstanding service, you and your shop are a class act !!! read more
