I can't say enough nice things about this shop and their crew. Last fall my trans started making…read morenoise until it failed. New Subaru transmissions aren't cheap and sadly they can't be rebuilt (thanks for nothing Subaru). That didn't stop them from looking at every option for me. We worked together and found a used unit with low miles. The cost was higher than I was prepared to put into the car (what major repairs aren't higher than expected?). But it was still nearly half the cost of a new unit from Subaru and "Ruby" is running beautifully. I can tell the negative comments left here are by people not used to the high cost of car repairs. They can't handle bad news so they put blame on the shop. Sorry, repairs cost money. If you want to stay on the road you need to put work in from time to time. I'd rather give that money to a shop that works WITH their patrons to come up with a solution that makes (almost) everyone happy in the end. Thanks guys!
