Bucket List Top 5: CHECK!…read more Two Christmases ago, my partner gifted me the ultimate experience with Marvel Ballooning -- a hot air balloon ride! After a couple of unexpected delays (and a touch of vertigo on his part!), the big day finally arrived... and it was so worth the wait. I flew with Pilot Joe and two fellow adventurers on a breathtaking sunset ride I will never forget. Drifting peacefully above fields and neighborhoods as the sky turned shades of gold and pink was nothing short of magical. It was quiet, awe-inspiring, and deeply calming -- more incredible than I ever imagined. A huge shoutout to the amazing ground crew, who were ready with perfect timing and warm smiles right when we landed. Growing up in San Diego, I used to watch hot air balloons float by and wonder what it felt like to be up there. Now I know -- and it exceeded every expectation. Marvel Ballooning took exceptional care of us from start to finish. If a hot air balloon ride is on your list, do it. You will be in excellent hands with this team. Endless gratitude to my incredible partner for making this dream come true. #BucketListChecked #HotAirBalloonMagic #SunsetRide #MarvelBallooning #AdventureOfALifetime #GratefulHeart

For a town of just over 1100 people, this is a really nice park! Located just south of most of the…read morebusinesses, the park has lots of amenities and a baseball park next to it on the north. There is a large gravel drive and parking lot that takes you passed an undeveloped buffer area between the lot and ball fields (the ball fields have their own lot on the north side.) On the west side of the parking lot is a shaded playground, memorial area, and walking path. To the south is a shelter, and beyond the walking path to the west is a large pavilion. Beyond that is another sports field with goal posts for football and bleachers. There are permanent restrooms on site and the paved trail makes it easy to get a car full of items back to the shelter and pavilion for unloading. There are some signs of wear and the ballfields next door could use some attention, but the park itself was a pleasant find. Review #2961

Aug. 29th, 2016…read more **Unprofessional and rude behavior. ** I am giving one star for one woman who does a pilates class here and claims to be a physical therapist. I never even got into the class actually, because she " forgot" to tell me I needed an orientation before I attended and after I arrived at the class, on time actually. She knew I was coming - had been told 3 weeks in advance and then again 3 days in advance. She had my phone number. This instructor arrived at 8:45 for the 8:30 class - I had been warned about this by a friend. I told her I had a total hip replacement 6 months prior but had received an okay from my surgeon to do pilates. She promptly showed me certain movements I could NOT do. Strangely these were the EXACT exercises I began immediately after surgery and continued to do for 3 months 3 times a day. When I mentioned that to her she responded: "I am physiotherapist, you know?" Whatever. I was glad I didn't get into her class after that. Now apparently her husband is doing it while she is busy elsewhere. I sure hope she is learning the basics about exercises for total hip replacement because she knows nothing. Buyer beware.
