We went over the work that needed to be done and he commenced work. A while later I needed to leave to run an errand (my wife was home though). When I got back, Cody's truck was gone, there were a lot of cut sheets of tile, but nothing on the wall and no Cody. I found a message from him on Yelp asking me to call him, which I did. It turns out he has "lost confidence" and abandoned the job. He said he tried to tell my wife before leaving, but she was unaware of this. When I spoke to Cody on the phone he indicated that I didn't owe him anything, and did offer to put me in touch with someone he felt could do the job. I didn't go with his recommendation mainly because I didn't have enough trust in him to make that choice. The guy I did hire was able to reuse some of the cut tile Code had left, but we needed to buy 5 more sheets nevertheless. There may be lots of things Cody is good at, but tiling a backsplash with herringbone tile sheets is not one of them, and abandoning a job is just not OK.

Everyone I told this to were shocked someone brought a baby into my yard, for an estimate! Your wife told me you only have been doing fencing for five years now. Never done it before. Her words. Your company would have charged me more, being your wife's measurements were higher than two other estimates. And no way I'd give anyone half down. All in all, not good business practices. New, inexperienced, fence company. Woman who came out to measure for an estimate brought her toddler with her. Who does that??? The baby could barely walk around on my lawn. Also, I had two more estimates after hers, & her measurements were off. She had 20 more sq ft on her estimate. This company wanted half down for deposit. No, not recommending them.

He worked with me to layout a comprehensive plan. The company pulls the permit, gets a surveryor or uses your surveyed paperwork, builds the fence to code, and works fast. In 2 days I had a beautiful fence and 2 new 5 foot gates on either side of the house. I noticed a month in that my fence began to warp, so I called up Jason and his men came out to inspect. Indeed some of the wood warped and they built me a new gate on the spot. New gate works great. I appreciate their speed and reliability and reasonable prices.

There was an issue with our survey and the original fence had been installed ridiculously incorrectly. We set up a job time for the following week. The office was great with communication, verifying with me the night before and the day of. I had another fairly well known fence company come out for a quote and he refused to deal with the fencing because it was "snap rail". The guy actually got a little snotty with me because "his office girl was supposed to have weeded this kind of thing out before he drove all the way over". Insert eye roll and chuckle here. Don't use those guys. Use Treasure Coast Fence. Pricing was absolutely reasonable as well, great value. Treasure Coast Fence-Michael and his assistant did a great job, super professional, fence is great and it only took a few hours. Really nice guys as well. Two thumbs up and highly recommended!
