The year the tech industry went from boom to bust, and I, like countless others, found myself staring at the layoff email. The job search that followed was a soul-crushing marathon. Applications sent, interviews flubbed, rejections piled up. My confidence dwindled faster than my savings account. Then, a ray of hope. A friend mentioned Mahesh's Impeccable Interview Program. It wasn't just about interview skills; it was about a complete overhaul. Mindset first. Mahesh helped me rewrite the narrative in my head - from "laid-off" to "opportunity seeker." Suddenly, the job search wasn't a desperate scramble, but a strategic move. The program was a game-changer. My resume transformed from a bland chronology to a compelling story of my achievements. We crafted a personal brand that oozed confidence and expertise. Interviewing went from a nerve-wracking ordeal to an opportunity to showcase my value. I also was able to clear one of the toughest interviews beating referral and also experienced self growth which has helped me to this day. Being laid off was a brutal blow, but the Impeccable Interview Program turned it into the best thing that could have happened. Now, I'm walking into this new chapter with my head held high, skills honed, and confidence soaring. Onwards and upwards, indeed! read more

With over 10+ years of experience in the USA, I had successfully received multiple job offers and secured 4 positions. Prior to my time in the USA, I worked in India, where I held 3 jobs over 5 years. I have never encountered difficulties in getting interviews and securing jobs until now. However, the current IT job market in the USA is particularly challenging After reading Yelp reviews, I decided to join Mahesh's coaching in February 2024. During our initial discussion, Mahesh assured me that with his coaching, I would surely receive 2-3 job offers, even in this tough job market. I was quite impressed and paid $5,600 for 12 sessions, which is about $466 per class. 4 out of the 12 sessions are shared with the group, and the remaining are 1:1 mock interviews. However, before joining, he never specified how many sessions would be shared and how many would be 1:1. Why would anyone want to pay $466 per session for shared sessions? His resume and LinkedIn profile optimization did not help me get the interviews he promised, nor did his mock interviews help me secure a job. He convinced me by saying he would refer me to big companies. I submitted my resume for one company with matching skills as per the job description, but my resume wasn't even selected. During the sessions, he was always in a hurry to attend his next session, and I never received thorough feedback on my mock interviews. When the 12 sessions were over, he asked me to pay an additional $5,600 to continue with the coaching. When I questioned him about not getting a job offer as promised with the previous coaching, he said, "Nobody gives a job guarantee," despite initially promising 2-3 job offers. I hope people put honest reviews online to help others make informed decisions. Please stay away from this guy to save your money. read more

Mahesh is sharp, wise, funny, highly accomplished and incredibly knowledgeable and someone who advocates and roots for you. His enthusiasm for your potential is infectious :) He has coached and supported me as I navigated growing into senior technical leadership. Mahesh is direct and won't hold back from saying what he sees is preventing you from growing. I appreciate his candor, his wisdom and his uncanny trait of saying the precisely right thing that you need to hear at the perfect moment. My only regret is not meeting him earlier in my career! read more

Mahesh was among the 5 leadership coaches that I interviewed. I shortlisted him because I did all the research about him, his work, and the impact he had on others. Mahesh is the best coach I could've ever asked for. There are a lot of things to look for in a coach: are they personable? Do they provide value to me? Do they help me clarify my purpose and how it maps to my job? And there is the most important question: do they get results for me in my career? The answer to all of the above is unequivocally yes with Mahesh. He will work with you from the ground up to help you realize your full potential and realization in your career. He is a true professional and I could not recommend him more for any IC or Manager/leadership role. In the tech industry or otherwise. You'll see results in a short time. The $$ you pay him is a small price to pay for the value you will see in your career and subsequently in your life. read more

I had an initial phone consultation with that guy and he was so rude and condescending to say the least. I spoke to many coaches during this time and everyone was very polite. Many this is just an extension of the misogyny so prevalent in India me being an Indian woman and him an Indian male, he just felt it was perfectly okay for him to treat me with disrespect. . read more

I was at something of a career crossroads: I knew that I wanted to be a technology product manager, but despite getting interviews I wasn't getting any offers. After a long while, desperate to understand what I was doing wrong and how I could improve - and whether I was fit for these roles at all - I looked for a career coach, and chose Mahesh because of his expertise in product management. Working with him began to show dividends immediately. First he helped me better understand the nature of the role that I wanted, and how my skills matched up with it - building up my confidence that I was in fact able to do the job. Then over a series of sessions he helped me really internalize what good product management looked like, and how to express that in interviews. He worked with me to improve my resume, and then when interviews started to come, helped me with detailed preparations for each one. Finally, when the hard work paid off and the job offer finally came, he was very helpful in advising me on compensation negotiation (and even took the time for a quick consulting phone call with no notice while he was traveling, when I had to respond to an offer the next day). Mahesh has been an excellent coach, and I got everything I had been hoping for from our sessions - including the most important thing, the job that I wanted! I'd heartily recommend him to anyone looking to further a career in product management. The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is that punctuality is not his strong suit, which more than once caused problems when trying to fit in coaching sessions on a tight schedule. But considering all I gained, scheduling hassles were a small price to pay. read more

I have known Mahesh for 2 years and have completed 2 annual cycles of career guidance. The beginning year was the most crucial and sensitive time of my life where I felt helpless at the crossroads of a career path. By the time I met him, I had taken 3 years of a maternal break, and by end of the 3rd year, I had zero confidence in getting back to the career world. He helped me unveil my potential and influenced me to never ever undervalue or underrate myself. During my initial sessions, he would deep dive to learn my personality and helped me identify and discover my soft skills and how I could use and implement them into the world of management. Not only did he help me find a job but guided me on the techniques of efficient job search. He taught me how to strategically demonstrate my skills and broaden my impact. He is honest and effective in what he suggests. His recommendations are not generic but specific to the problem and situation. My first annual cycle was aimed at helping me find a job but the end result was beyond just finding a job but choose & find comfort and support at the workplace. I continued to be under his guidance for the second annual cycle with a little fear/insecurity if I would sustain the job or the platform I was put in. But again, Mahesh as always would never cease to amaze at how well he takes you on the designated path planned together. When I turn back to look at the second cycle, I realized he has put me on the path of a women leader in Tech despite the hard challenges during these pandemic times. I am not just appreciated for my work but elevated for the accomplishments and impacts made at a higher management level. My husband and I are both mentees under his guidance and are happy to be under his effective guidance. read more

I have met with Mahesh twice so far, and am already seeing benefits. Before contacting Mahesh, I was frustrated with my job search progress. I wasn't getting called for interviews, and I didn't know what was wrong or where I needed to focus my efforts. By asking me questions, probing my knowledge, and exploring my strengths and passions, he has started me on a road to success by pinpointing skills that I need to improve and also improvements to how I present myself. I chose Mahesh because I wanted someone who specialized in the tech industry, who could help me identify key skills and really knew the industry. This has proved invaluable, and I am very glad that I didn't choose a "generalist" career coach who doesn't really understand the tech industry's unique needs and skill sets. You still have to put in a lot of effort, but that's really the whole point. He keeps you accountable for putting in the work that will cause real improvements. Working with Mahesh, I am now more energized and motivated than ever before because I now have a clear direction, and I feel very confident that if I follow his guidance and put in the effort, I will land a great lucrative job that will make me happy. read more

Updating my review: I strongly recommend Mahesh for professional interview coaching. I just got a job offer from the social media giant in Menlo Park. Of course we have to do the hard work ourselves to prepare, but his coaching was crucial for my success. Here are detailed reasons why: 1) His sessions are very dense and rich in information. Sample questions and answers, behavioral tips, understanding of interviewers' expectations, research topics for homework were all very relevant and tailored to the position and the company you are applying to. After each session I felt a little overwhelmed but at the same time very encouraged to do the hard work, 2) His advice on how to approach difficult questions proved to be extremely helpful. I was able to stay calm and communicative throughout the interview process even when I felt unsure of my answer. 3) His knowledge of tech industry prepared me well. I was able to highlight all of my relevant skills, which are mostly non-engineering, in the context of the tech business. He was also resourceful in giving me advices on salary negotiation and how to approach it. All in all, I learned a great deal through the process and gained essential interview skills that last. I feel that I made a great investment regardless of the results. I'm looking forward to working with him on my next career journey! read more

Working with Mahesh was a life-changing experience for me. Some background. I was out of work for almost two years for personal reasons and getting back into the workforce was seemingly a very daunting task. I was confused and working towards getting a job without any focus or direction. In spite of good academic background as well as professional experience, I wasn't getting any calls for interviews. All this was detrimental to my self-confidence and demoralizing. I feel that we always tend to undermine our capabilities which in turn keeps us away from achieving our true potential. We are afraid of thinking big. (Speaking for myself) This all changed when I started working with Mahesh. He worked with me patiently and interviewed me and together we set a goal. He then coached me to achieve that goal. After only a few sessions with him, my mindset was different, I had an all new- increased sense of self-worth. He helped me develop into a more confident and positive person. After seeing such a positive transformation in me, my husband also joined Mahesh for executive coaching. It has been only a few sessions with Mahesh, and he is already changed. He is aiming high now, not ready to set for something mediocre. He has begun to talk and act like a leader. Today, as I am beginning my new job, I just wanted to acknowledge that this wouldn't have been possible without Mahesh's coaching and guidance. read more

Coaching from Mahesh in person and on the phone due to travel schedules was super effective. I am in Technology Sales and Marketing for a major cloud company. My perception all along was that I was doing great work. However, it was not visible in my results and in my bonus. After meeting Mahesh, his executive coaching framework uncovered several behavioral areas that could help me take my game to the next level. I had to do rigorous work every day for months and the results started showing in my performance at work. In addition to my leadership skills, we also aced the interviewing process leading up to this offer. Nothing like having multiple options to pick from. read more
