With over 10+ years of experience in the USA, I had successfully received multiple job offers and secured 4 positions. Prior to my time in the USA, I worked in India, where I held 3 jobs over 5 years. I have never encountered difficulties in getting interviews and securing jobs until now. However, the current IT job market in the USA is particularly challenging After reading Yelp reviews, I decided to join Mahesh's coaching in February 2024. During our initial discussion, Mahesh assured me that with his coaching, I would surely receive 2-3 job offers, even in this tough job market. I was quite impressed and paid $5,600 for 12 sessions, which is about $466 per class. 4 out of the 12 sessions are shared with the group, and the remaining are 1:1 mock interviews. However, before joining, he never specified how many sessions would be shared and how many would be 1:1. Why would anyone want to pay $466 per session for shared sessions? His resume and LinkedIn profile optimization did not help me get the interviews he promised, nor did his mock interviews help me secure a job. He convinced me by saying he would refer me to big companies. I submitted my resume for one company with matching skills as per the job description, but my resume wasn't even selected. During the sessions, he was always in a hurry to attend his next session, and I never received thorough feedback on my mock interviews. When the 12 sessions were over, he asked me to pay an additional $5,600 to continue with the coaching. When I questioned him about not getting a job offer as promised with the previous coaching, he said, "Nobody gives a job guarantee," despite initially promising 2-3 job offers.
