I was transitioning from California when I found this gym. This gym is outstanding. I have been training mostly Jiu Jitsu and strength and conditioning, at this facility. The instruction is outstanding and I don't impress that easily. The staff as well as many of the members are people who are actively competing in their respective arts. The things that you are learning are real world and can be used in competition, as well as self defense. The bigger thing to note for me is how I have been treated the moment I stepped into impact zone. Everyone there pushes to see you improve. I have been treated like a member of the team from the moment I stepped into that door. I have not had the same experience at other gyms. There is a comradery there that is very familiar to the one I shared when I was in the military. Your dealing with genuine good people. Coach Los and all of the members want to see you train and improve. In a world filled with people without honor its great to work with a coach and team members who have strong core values. That means everything to someone like me No matter where the future takes me I will never forget the time I spend at Impact zone. Oss! read more

When I started my fitness journey I thought cardio was the best way to lose weight. It worked for awhile then I was invited to Impact Zone and it opened my eyes to so much more. Not only is this place one of the best environments I have been around but Carlos and Lara put so much heart into their members. They get to know you and are always willing to help anyone in their journey. There is no judgemental or competitive feeling at all. They believe in their faith and are not afraid to bring it out around anyone which is pretty awesome. I get stronger everyday and love the relationships I have made threw this place. I tried a Crossfit class before here but never went back. Now because of a place like impact zone I go every week and absolutely love it!!! You will never give up after entering the door. Make the change and come check this place out!! read more

This is absolute the premier fitness facility in all of Lafayette. As a division 1 soccer player, I needed a place to come and train at every summer during college. I attended NC State, so I did not have access to my university's resources - luckily I got an even better training experience by working out with Carlos at Impact Zone. Impact Zone has a great group of people which give it a welcoming vibe, but also push you to be more than you believed you could be. I saw my performance improve drastically after letting Los coach me and push me to a higher level. Highly, highly recommend for all athletes, weekend warriors, and just those looking to get a little bit healthier and find a great community to be a part of. read more

My kids have really been enjoying themselves and look forward to going to the children's self defense classes where they are learning wrestling, kickboxing and BJJ fundamentals. The coaches do a great job of keeping the classes fun while also instructing and burning off some of that endless kid energy. With my kids being young (5-7) i was concerned they wouldn't be able to follow along or get enough individual coaching but each class has enough coaches to spread out among the "littles" to really give them that one-on-one coaching. The place is really nice and everyone is very friendly. Anyone should go and give it a try. read more

This place is a great place to get a good sweat on and learn new things all the time. Great place to get a good crossfit workout in and there are classes for kids as well. Which is great bc not many places offer that. It's not your typical gym which makes it even better. They very much want to help everyone reach their goals with whatever their fitness journey is. They have a ladies only boot camp which is wonderful bc you won't feel intimidated bc we encourage each other to succeed and to push ourselves out of our comfort zones. Give this place a try!! read more

I moved across the country for school and Impact Zone truly became my new family. Knowledgeable coaches, great facilities, even better atmosphere. I've trained at 6 different BJJ schools and 4 different crossfit gyms in the past and this one beats them all by a mile! The best part is that all of the coaches at Impact Zone are themselves competitive athletes, and thus are able to lead from the front. read more
